If I changed my email address, how would that work on this site? Would I have to start a new profile? because I want to keep the same profile name. The emails I keep getting from this site are driving my mom crazy, since it's her email address; that's why I wanted to change it to my own address.

Isn't Austin Cox the 135 for Independence? Why did I rank Franklin and Brentwood higher than Independence? Because while Indy's dual team is far superior, the team scoring system at state favors teams like Franklin, with not as many qualifiers but more finalists/champions. Indy might get more medalists, but Franklin (Ortiz, Konz, Davis, Heacock all have a good shot at winning) and Brentwood's (Mustin, Croy, maybe Overmeyer) top guys are ranked higher and should thus score more for their teams.

*That was just for division I; my division II picks remain the same.

I have another question about weight eligibility: Let's say a wrestler plans to wrestle at 103 for Region/State, but weighs in at 112 for a match, and then elects to wrestle up at 119. By wrestling up two weight classes, does he relinquish his shot at 103? And are you allowed to wrestle up by two classes at all, even if on that specific day it would only be up by one? And do forfeits, byes, and exhibitions count?

ghouse, good look playing the role of santa claus tonight. I bet in some cases there's almost as much anticipation for the first rankings as there is for the state tournament. This is like the wrestling equivalent to a Star Wars premiere!

hrdcrwrsetler, here is my opinion I think it's fine if you want to let people know about your son but only if he himself is okay with that. You're making a lot of potential rivals here, and your son needs to be aware of that. Otherwise you may inadvertantly paint a bulls-eye on his back. The TSSAA rule says for you to wrestle in a certain weight class at region/state you must have been within that weight class for at least 50% of your matches, correct? Are the state and/or region matches included in that 50%? Is it determined by number of weigh-ins or number of matches? If it's by weigh-ins then do two-day tourneys with two separate weigh-ins count as one or two? What if you weigh in but take a forfeit? or bye? or exhibition? What if you've competed in three different weight classes so that it would be impossible to be at one weight for more than 50% of your matches? ...Or do they not let you wrestle up more than one class no matter your weight that day? Confusing I know

What bugs me is the hydration test. Going a week eating nothing but grapes, strawberries, and propel isn't fun.

I have to work with what I know. I'm not matman or bray, and I don't have rosters. This information is for others to build off of. But a lot of these guys I continually hear about dominating all kinds of tournaments, even nationals for some. Stuart Doster placed like 3rd or 5th at a national tournament, Michael Hooker may have made national dual team. I should have been more specific with the wording. This was an older document I copied and modified a little. Originally those were my speculations about which teams would be the best, and which wrestlers would be likely to place. And I was really sleepy when I posted and forgot to delete some of the middle school wrestlers. Sorry about that. I'm anxious as well.
