  1. Dogs win......................by a SAFETY!! Dadgum these 12 hour shifts! Was hoping to make it down with my boy buttt...... not gonna happen. Pujo, Uknoit, look for my boy( he'll be the one with the camera!!!,ok I'm just Kiddin all you Grace fans) Seriously though, The dogs take this one by 14 or so. Uknoit, keep me posted dadgum it ! Got wireless at work now so i'm sneakin the Ipod in, sssshhhhhh!
  2. Good win, Still LOTSA work to do. 80 yds of penalties and some missed assignments. We have the talent to be a really good team. Gotta stay healthy. Things are lookin up on Brocky Top though.(Think I should trademark that?)
  3. Just a good ole boys, never meanin' no harm, beats all you ever saw, been in trouble with the law(Butchie) since the day their account was born! Players have no bizness even lookin at these here boards, jmo. I know my boy has WWAAYYY more important things to do. C'mon kid, you're livin proof WHY players shouldn't be on here. This is for the old has beens that still love the game. Go to Itunes and buy Bruce Springsteen's "Glory Days" and MAYBE you'll..............never mind. Come back and log on in 10,15,even 20 years(wow has it been that long?) and MAYBE you'll get it. We can't play it but we still LOVE it. There is nothing else compares to highschool football, nothing. So if us old hasbeens want to get on here and discuss, disect, and break down the game(not to mention some GOOD NATURED ribbin' every once in awhile) don't get your panties in a wad because of it. If you really are a player, get off here, stay off here, don't worry about what these old coots are sayin on here and go take care of business and maybe transfers from b.f.e,nc won't take your spot!
  4. We never got out of 1st gear partly because of the vanilla play calling( iso right, iso left, 1 sweep we ran twice and the same pass play we ran a coupla times) but mostly because of penalties.Dear Lordbut we racked up the penalty yards in a hurry. Nerves had alot to do with that. Gotta get that cleaned up for sure. Drive killers. Gonna be tough sledin to run the ball on us. Got some work to do in the secondary but with Lacy quitting it leaves us young and inexperianced. WE get a few games under our belt and we should see much improvement. Our season is going to depend on how healthy we stay, plain and simple. We have a minimum amount of injuries and by week 9 and 10 we will be.....a tough out for anybody. If not....well I guess we'll cross that bridge if it comes.
  5. Heck yeah! The old B&G will be going to 3rd shift starting next week. That means he can watch the Landers (and his boy) on friday nights. Have to miss tomorrows jamboree cause I'll be workin 7-7 but come the 17th I'll be at Orr field. You fellas give me a text or 2 and let me know how goes it, if'n you'uns will.
  6. I get a laugh out of your post when i can understand them cause you write like you are texting or tweeting with no punkchooayshun or caps that leads to run on sentences that don't not never end but just keep on going thats really hard to follow which is really a shame because you are a funny guy that makes me laugh i hate it when i can't understand you so try and work on that if you will because your football knowledge and insight bring so much to these boards
  7. Maybe from H.V. or the Creekers but just don't see it happenin from up 'round these parts.
  8. And here I thought I swiped it off'n you! Sorry fellas, know I ain't been on here much herelately but I take a quick glance from time to time. This is my 3rd day off in the last.......uh, 28?29?, something like that anyhow. What month is this again? Might not reply much but i check up on you fellers 2 or 3 times a week. Went with Mason to spot him a coupla mornings last week and the whole time I was prayin "dear lord, please don't let him need me to get this off'n him". Most are wurkin hard from what I've seen and heard. FOOTBALL SEASON IS JUST 'ROUND THE CORNER!(football weather seems to be another matter though)
  9. I love summer but dadgum if fall ain't my FAVORITE!
  10. You know, sometimes I actually feel that old
  11. Ize luvz all yooosse gize! Wurkin 6 12's ain't much fun but I'll get on this contraption when possible. Uknoit2, miss hollerin at ya. They got wireless there but got it protected and they won't clue the new buddy in on the password. We are wurkin' hard and talent ain't lackin here so I Look for the Landers to be a surprise brother. Moved mine to guard but at 6'1" 210lbs where else does he play in the spread with pullin' guards? He's completely bought into it though and is lovin' it. He Looked pretty good gainst H.V. I have to say. The move to fullback last year was a HUGE help. THE LANDERS AIN'T REBUILDING Y'ALL, JUST RECOACHING!
  12. We win by 2 (yes 2 Thats Two!) scores this year. Sorry Old Eagle but JMO Not so many underclassmen as you think. Weightroom participation has been REAL good.
  13. Where the heck is Pujo anywho? Figured we'd get his thoughts bout the scrimmage friday by now?
  14. Those cents scents make no sense since yesterday yes I'm tired
  15. H.V. was runnin the spread also. Theirs is basically the same thing Science Hill has ran but that only makes sense since most of their staff coached there.(sense, since? )
  16. They did. Tried to call you but you ignored me. It was........promising, IIIIIFFFFFF we get in that room with all the discs with the lbs on them and pick them up and put them down and pick em up and put them down about 4500 times this summer.
  17. Whitehead and Arnett will be the first 2 backs to begin with. Taylor and Michael are 2-3 years more mature than Colby. Not that Colby ain't a fine young back. Both he and Austin are as good as you'll find and I wouldn't be surprised to see them get some time this year. BUT,,,,, they are YOUNG backs. Those 8th grade linebackers are ALOT different than a jr or sr backer they will be going against. Freshman bodies need a year or 2 in the weight room to mature. It's not a question of if they are talented, cause they are. Physically mature enough? No......not yet. Not to take the kind of pounding a back does game after game at varsity level. Playing time? Sure. Both have talent and can help. But do you reallllly think the coaches will put them(him) in a position to be injured? Not hurt, injured. Don't see it happening. Besides, just don't see either one beating out Taylor or Arnett to begin with. Not to mention Lacy. Look at the difference in all those kids without their shirts on. C'mon, it's obvious unless you're blind. Physically more mature. Now, give Colby and Austin a year or 2 on the weights and they will be outstanding. JMO
  18. From what I've seen, coach Pittman knows his business. Organized, motivated, and coaches up every aspect(the little things) on every play. I was impressed. I'm thinkin' we stole this guy cause he's a go getter. JMO
  19. Alrighty then! Looks like we got us a coach. Not only a coach but a coach that will concentrate on the area of need that makes a team. As an ex lineman I have a feeling he will personally take charge of this area. The word I've heard is that we will be runnin the spread. But more like Greenville RUNS it. The power spread I guess you'd say. Not real sure about defense.I think this cat brings discipline, hard work and enthusiasim, which are all things that our program will benefit from. Don't know about anyone else but I'm pretty excited about the whole deal. Now I just hope to get a little time off to be able to watch this deal unfold in spring practice. As far as a scrimmage I'm hearing it is against H.Valley? Not sure about that though.
