If its the case Austin Rice will do just fine. He seems to have a lot Moxy to him. He might not know the offense thru and thru like his counter part. But will be just fine.

So the QB is suspended for 2 games. And a unofficial starter was kicked off the team. So I am assuming Austin Rice will be starting QB for a couple of games.

Sounds much better. Any idea of the 2 players suspended. And both are starters. I assume.

Stories do not add up. I hav'nt heard anything of these accounts. And if they didn't get suspended from school. Then how would this effect the play time of these kids. Also if they did party on there own time what does that have to do with playing there game. If u get in trouble at school or miss school then yes u shouldn't play but outside of the campus on the parents time where does a suspension fall into school athletics. I can see a program punishment by running or other ways but not by suspension on a own time incident. Now an arrest for illegal substance abuse then a team suspension should occur and I assume would occur. But something of this matter. I think would be fixed in a different approach. And how would someone that posts a lot on Jeff Co. thread and William Blount thread know of this when not a Sevier County fan of my knowing has any idea of this story. If the story is right then Kudos. Brewer does keep a close chain on his athletes. Would not surprise me. But can't credit this story until I see on Friday night.

I believe the final was 7-0 Bearden. Yes good news. But there is still some skeptical bad news. Pigeon Forge actually did a little rushing on the Bears and established a little something that jamboree. The worse feeling in the whole situation is. Malachi Horton Rushed for 160+ yds on the Bears last year. On a Bad ANKLE.. Bearden has a big line and could possibly wear the Bears down over the games time. I still think Bears win 38 to 28 but I do expect Horton to be close to the 200 yds if not more by games end. And Bearden has a Athletic QB as well I think which will be more to worry about. Hope the Bears pull it together by that game. Or there offense is as good as advertised or we could be in some trouble.

K , To answer my reasoning on my pick of Whitley Co. 21 - Mo.West 17. Upon you're middle of the road status of Whitley Co. They did reach the second round of the playoffs in KY. Seems to be a bit better then Middle of The Road. Maybe past history but last year was not middle of the pack. Harlen Co. almost reached the state final in 5a. Congrats on the win against them last year. In the transfer of Malachi Horton which had 200+ yds rushing against Harlem Co. Who does West have that can duplicate those numbers. So until week one is played I do think West will take a big step back this year compared to last year. Projecting a winner in this game with blind faith on Whitley Co. is a flip of a coin. They was Heads and West was Tails. Sorry the coin toss didn't favor MoWest... Whitley 21 MoWest 17 But if MoWest wins then I will gladly come on here and say good call.. U was a better guesser then I was.. And glad u have a good Runningback replacement for the loss of Horton.

Well here goes a prediction on the final of this match-up. After deep thought and some more deep thought . I believe the Bears come away with the win here. At Sevier County we will give the home team a 3 point boost. Which would bring my final SEVIER CO. 38 - BEARDEN 28.

Gatlinburg should pull out a victory. Gatlinburg 42 Cocke County 14 Seymour will be better if they can control the turnovers. I think they do enough to edge this one out. Seymour 28 Sullivan North 20 Morristown East should improve from last year. Morr. East 45 West Green 14. Morristown West will have a very slow and run efficient game with Whitley but will come out short in this one. Morristown West 17 Whitley(KY) 21. Cherokees will be a surprise in this week winning in the last drive. Kees 21 Sullivan So. 17. Sevier County and Bearden, Sevier County 38 Bearden 28. who has there offense more in tune to hold the ball will win this one.

Bearden will probably slow the game down to a speed they are comfy with. But Sevier County has played many teams that do that and seem to get teams out of there gameplan. Morristown West is possibly one of the best teams on the schedule of Sevier County that trys it. But Sevier County scores quick early and makes a team play catch up. Like they have done Morristown West the past few years. And it turns into a snowball effect. Sevier County will be fast pace this year as well. With addition to 2 good runningbacks. I don't see Sevier County being very one sided like the past. So that is why Sevier County will be pretty good. Heres how I think this game goes. SCHS takes ball first. Score as fast as possible. Kicks off to Bearden. Beardens first time with ball. Move steady coughs the ball on miscue. SCHS takes it scores in no huddle fast as possible. 14-0 SCHS. From then on it is how Bearden responds. Will they fall into the snowball effect or dig out of the hole. But I do think SCHS coaching staff will have the first 2 drives as there main gameplan.

Any news. From what the paper says. Sevier County did extremely well in McCallie. 21-0 in first half. Sevier County must be very fast. And playing very well together..

I do believe it will be a good game. And that Horton Kid can run. He was a factor injured last year in the Sevier Co. Mo.West game. I have heard that Sevier County is really fast though. Hopefully Bearden will have trouble guarding some speed.

If I recall my Smoky Bears lost to Bearden in the playoffs. In a great game for the ages. Correct me if I am wrong but believe it came down to a last minute 2 pt. conversion try for the Smoky Bears. From a swing pass to the right which the receiver lost his footing before crossing the pylon. Resulting in a 35 to 34 loss. I also think it was during the electrifying days of Devrin Young at Bearden. Could we expect a classic this year in Week 0!!

Will this conference be good this year. And what is the statis on some of these teams.?

SCHS is all no huddle this year. That time average could be even shorter this year then last. And can officially run a play every 4 to 5 seconds a whistle blows. Really up to the tempo they wish to go. But they are offensively against letting defenses get set and go thru the breakdowns.And much rather keep the pace super fast. Trying to catch defensive substitutions later in the game. Best thing to beat them is absolutely eat a lot of clock and keep there offense to the side and wait to break the winning score late. GO BEARS!!! And goodluck Jeff County all spectators and players I pray to have a safe night.

WB wins this game. By a good margin if they play well. WB 38 Central 14. Please if you are WB fans tell the coach to pull #7 when you guys wrap this game up. A injury to him would be catastrophic to you're year. He looks like he is stepped in as leader and glue to youre team.

SCHS by atleast 28 or more. SCHS 42 Halls 7 at the end of 3rd qtr. Final SCHS 49 Halls 17 at the end.

Yes WB did miss alot of open tackles. To stop SCHS is the same Maryville did last year in the playoffs. Make open field tackles. If the first defender misses it is a big gain period. And SCHS is very classy program. I believe I saw a number of many SCHS fans helping give to the Amelia fund at you game. Me for one. And most was concerned about youre community more than the game itself. The game was played at a tough time by far. But SCHS hearts are with you're program and community more than most. Reason being they got to share that memorial with you guys. And will cheer for WB to have a very successful year Amelion Percent

The truth behind the DB program is this. U guys have some of the best talent around and are so ahead of programs in the season. Which helps you're program win so many in the season. But what happens is that you're GC has trouble coaching up the talent as the year goes. While other teams get better as the year goes and fixes the bad patches before Playoff time. Basically every team who plays DB twice in a year sees the same DB team in playoffs that beat them in regular season. Not much improvement at all. Just the same old same old. So until DB's GC figures out how to change a little and make some unreconized changes DB will always be the same ol DB chokers. Any team will take a beat down during the season but they learn and change it because they will always have the last laugh when it is said and done. And u my respected DB friends just have to face the truth. People remember post season wins more then season wins. Like SCHS's miracle will still hold the final laugh of you're biggest choke for many years down the road. Miracle or not which one counted more the 42 - 41 in the season for DB or the postseason game. I'll take the miracle any year. And as long as GC is the coach SCHS will play DB any round in the playoffs. As would the Science Hill fans. Or even Farragut at that matter. Now that is not trash talking that is truth..!!

Actualy I am not talking trash at all to you guys. All the Bears nation respccts DB naion of course. All I am saying is that both teams will score many points this game. Haha. Each team will score 75 a piece and then a ot probably. Which I hopes the case. But have never said SCHS will win. Just that both teams are better this year. I just want to wish a great game to both teams for the fans and East Tennesse football for a change. Rather then all the praises of Knoxville Schools.

As I said there might be a 150 points scored in this SCHS and DB game..
