I've watched Clarkrange play several games this year (when I could). THey are a good team and play well together, I THINK AGAINST Celina Rogers needs to leave his 3 point shooters in the game and not on the bench they'll need all the points they can get to beat Celina. I'd love to see them and York go all the way this year.

Had Clarkrange played better defense, this would have been a great deal different. Let Rogers work on his guards and defense and watch what happens next time. He has 3 or 4 players who haven't defended a lot of high school basketball, you can rest assured they will only get better.

I agree with tnwareagle that players who stick with the team through the tough times and don't turn and run when situations (be it playing time, horrible coaches, or disagreements with teammates, disgruntled parents) aren't the way they want them to be will hopefully learn that sticking with the situation will pay off in the end that quitters usually don't prosper in life.

Has anyone seen any of the district 7A teams scrimmage? How are they looking so far??

I wnat to clarify what I was syaing. I am sure Green and Rickets are and have been going throu a lot of emotional uproar. If they do go back to play for Rogers, all they have read negatively about their decisions here will be in their heads. Remember, once something is said, it can't be taken back etirely it will linger.

I don't think we the fans need to start the preseason tearing down some players and building up others. THat is the coaches job. Kids read this stuff and all it does is build up egos falsely or tear down confidence unintentionally. I would like to see people discuss the play of a team as a whole not blame it on individual kids or say that one player won the game. After all everyone wins and loses as a team, and this individual side has taken a little away from the game. I hate seeing parents sit in the stands and keep stats on their kid, not the team. Lets the fans not fall into this and protect the kids that are playing on these teams and not discuss their abilities or performance too much on this website. Laswt year one would be led to believe Celina had only 2 players on their team. Someone has to assist, bring the ball down, play defense etc... that is what I'm talking about, talk about the teams and not the players.

Clarkrange basketball has a great tradition. Coach Rogers will take what talent he has and make the best of it and will have a successful season. If Buffalofan knows what he is talking about it seems Cravens, Whittenburg, Jones, & Ramsey can all shoot the ball outside. With Snow inside and an outside arsenal like he has, they should do well as long as Snow stays out of foul trouble. She appears to be a smart player and will understand her role. Green and Ricket would have been great assets to this team, but if they don't want to play the fans should not be too critical of them, (number 5 has a point) afterall it is a game and they are kids. Rogers will adapt as he has done before. He has players who want to play ball and that is what they will do and do well as they have in the past. I look forward to catching the Lady Buffalos a couple of times this season and of course in the tourneys. Good luck you have your work cut out for you.
