Can someone tell me if the district tourney starts on thursday or friday, I know Siegel doesnt play before the first round, time to rest up for the stars.

Haha It definately would, I think we could play our JV and beat Warren County and our varsity and beat cookeville. So it wouldnt matter. Bench players would be tired.

wc is at cookeville right, lol siegel better not have to win 2 first round games.

Dunno Shelbyville also could have beat Siegel if they could have held on to a 21-4 lead after a quarter, but they couldnt. Ill agree that is was pretty even giving a slight edge to us due to the come from behind victory. We were the comeback kids they whole playoffs that year, lol oakland should remember a Darius Roper 3 gave us the lead and sent us on to the finals that year over Oakland.

No reason we should have lost to whites creek, and we had already beat Shelbyville who took Hamilton to the limit, we just got flat out upset by them that season. That was devestating.

I think this team will make the final 4 in the next 2 seasons, but bad luck and bad games are part of basketball. We just have to be on our A game in tournament time. Glad that everyone has such high expectations haha.

I guess he probably would have, but last year we didnt use a bench much at all really. Cutter would play the whole game alot of times, I guess he would have came in to give Kerry or Marc a breather.

OakPat, as a fan that attends many games what are your feelings as hockenberry as a player? Also to TJ I never thought he should get off the bench for Siegel. So dont play that card like I acted like he was good at Siegel.

Haha I think we have had an acceptable regular season, but with the talent we have I truly feel the team is looking for a birth in the state tournament. What the team feels is acceptable I feel is acceptable. I dont think they want anything less then a state birth.

Dont know why hed say that, he doesnt even go with DeVante often. They had to against Lebanon due to the press and hes a great ball handler. I cant imagine why he would want David on the team, guess every team needs a version of Rudy haha.

In my opinion he is better then David. He is faster and quicker with the ball. He is a true point guard by your standards, and I have seen him hit a layup.

NBA point guards and collegiate points score and distrubte, any oakland fans perception of a point guard is kind of warped due to the fact they have never had a point guard that can score.

Tyler definately was a true point guard, ask antioch shelbyville or anyone else that got in Siegels way last year. DeVante is not garbage, he is the kind of player randy king would love to have. He definately has better handles and passes then the siegel reject.

But based off of size Siegel does have the most, and I would say we have the best guard play with Gooch and Hammonds, really anyone on the floor for Siegel can shoot at most times, except when Cedric Williams or Neil are in the game they are strictly post players.

I have not been impressed with Kevin Thomas when we have played against yall. We even beat the barry stewart dequan twilley team after being down 21-4. Ill neever forget that one. Its not bias at all im not claiming dotson is the 2nd best coach, King is obviously first, but dotson is a good coach and is getting no credit this year. We ate our crow for getting smacked by Oakland. I dont think Shelbyville will be a cake walk, but I do feel we can beat them based off of size, I dont know enough about columbia to say that. I have no clue what sort of size they have.

Won 17 of there last 18 so there doing good, im sure they seemed pretty out matched out west though?

Yeah im not going to say its that easy, but trey that is a dumb post and your wrong on a couple counts. Siegel was 3rd in the district at the end of the regular season last season behind White Co and Oakland. So we were not best in the district last year going into the district tourney. Saying that you and Oakland have the best coaches in the district is a total opinion also. Siegel has not lost to Shelbyville ever during regular season or tournament play in my memory. So your coach must not be that good we havent changed our offense in a long time. Ok a 3 point win? last time i checked when you win by 3 or 30 its the same in high school basketball since there is not a BCS. Stick with the big boys in your district dont come over here trying to get buck.

No offense taken, I would rather not play yall again either. Especially in the region semis with the season on the line. I would play Shelbyville over Oakland 7 days a week.

Haha No way, your going to cheer on Siegel? Yeah, I feel Oakland truly is the onle team that can beat us. Its because King doesnt run a really stern system when it comes to playing us. He realizes he cant just let them go out and do what they usually do. He coaches to our weaknesses. Its going to be interesting to see, but this season is reminding me alot of the 05-06 season where we lost to yall at home and beat yall in the region semis. Hopefully it will be more like the 04-05 one though where we played 4 times. Who knows, im getting excited for tournament time.

I feel give Keil our talent and he might win a gold ball though. Because he is a great coach with a good system. He just doesnt have the mos consistent players out there. Some streaky shooters is what Lebanon is made up of.

Just glad they dont play one quarter. We played the worst we had all season in the first quarter tonight. Guess we only showed our talent off by coming back tonight? no coaching involved in comebacks right?

Yeah DNJ said COULD miss tonight's game,excellent execution they gave us all we wanted tonight, we had to fight back from being down 11 in the first tonight, another good win for the stars tonight.

We can definately agree on that. Kerry is long but has some what of a vertical to be able to throw down like he does.
