Good post.I'd say that's why we put WB on our schedule as well. You need some hard games and a few that you should win.If we didn't have a playoff system like big time college,then I might be a little more worried about playing a bunch of hard games outside of my region.Roll Tribe

Elizabethton has had teams that can play with anybody in the past

He is a freshman for DB and a lot of his family have been great players, one is in the pro's. He is not real big,I'd say 5'9'' or 5'10'', 170 lbs or so, but he is a real good athlete with a lot of strenth in his running ability.They are giving him a chance to play with the big boys,and so far after one game,he is doing good.

I think Sylvester is very important to our defense and Sensabaugh does have enough speed to play running back.He will take it up the field more like 33. I still thank you need a guy like 45 at full back.You can use Sylvester in the slot to catch quick passes or run some screens and reverses with him. I think 33 is the best running back we have and if your going to use Sensabaugh,use him where he should be,halfback.I don't know who is number one in net,it doesn't matter for a few weeks.

Good luck to both teams thursday,I hope both of our freshman teams come away with no injuries and look forward to you guys coming up here next year on the Varsity game.JC has a fine football history and I know you guys are proud .

Just messing with Warlock,These guys are just kids.It's a learing time for them.I could have said,"wow" what if Sensabaugh had played that whole game.

Over here in east TN.,Bearden,JC,DB{ }in 1,and WB,OR,{ },{ }. The next couple of weeks may change all that.There are 5 or 6 teams working to get into the loop in these two regions,and any team can fall off this list by the end of the regular season.

Nomatter who wins I hope neather side go's after the freshman,like Warlock has just done on the thread {freshman}.I just responded to get under his skin,because he is still smarting from the friday game and knows they may beat our freshman without DB's star player.Roll Tribe and I hope both teams come out safe next friday,have a safe trip to Kingsport and home to Elizabethton.

OK,I'll play the game. When is the last time JC's freshman got to slap around a DB freshman team. By the way,you allready got your chance at our best { little Indian } freshman last friday.That didn't go to good after he got used to the speed of the game. It's a shame your freshman will not get a chance to tackle and run against Sensabaugh.The score may have been 176-7.Even if you beat our freshman or load up against the Jv team on /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> monday,our little Indians will stay on the war path as they become juniors and seniors.Get them before they grow up and can spot you 14.

I thought we would have some problems early , but after the WB game,I knew we could play with anybody.You never know what will happen from week to week.We have the kind of team that can loose to anybody with the things we do wrong here and there.Here comes my deep down thoughts and my in your face DB haters .If we keep playing defense,keep building depth,and get better at the passing game each week.I think this team has the ability to play fifteen games this year and win the last five. That's not from a dad, but from a man that has seen three of the states top 5a teams struggle to score at all on this DB team. Now,any Db fan top that.If your not a DB fan,it doesn't really matter on a thread like this

I agree on the fullback. You need a Lawson type of player in front of you best running back,I said that before the season ever started. The best back on our team is 33.He may be playing at fullback,but he should be the tailback. None of the other backs run hard and hold on to the ball.They do one or the other.33{Taylor} is very fast as well.Let some of the other backs have some great runs against some lesser teams and go away from the pass.If this happens,we will be ''done '' come playoff time. If you want to talk running backs,I thought number 30 looked very good during the forth quarter.I don't know if he has been hurt or what , some body said they thought he was a junior or maybe even a senior.I had not seen him this year.That's what I've been talking about, when it comes to our special teams.We have kids that can run and hit,but we play the only names we can remember on every down.Let the kids that are good athletes and don't get to play,go in on special teams. Keep using your depth chart as we did at JC,but go deeper when the game is out of reach.What if a good lineman or 7,10,33,15,2,24 get hurt when the game is allready ours? Look at how good 30 ran the ball and tell me we don't have kids that can help.

Thanks,I'm just worried that if we run like Hogg did against Tennessee High or Tayor did friday,we will be talking about how great our running backs are.The next thing you will hear on the radio and by the fans is our running backs are the best thing since penut butter and who needs the pass.I don't care who is running the ball,when teams like WB stack up for the run,we have to pitch and catch.I thought the game at WB was a good one for the offense except for not being able to make a lot of catches that we should have.Special teams are another big problem that I thought we might be real good at because of the kickoff returns.We did get a punt block against Jc,but we let them recover a kickoff on us as well. We are just as likely to hit the punter as block his kick.I hate to even bring up what our punt return team has cost us this year.Can we please,please,please get away from the ball if it is near our on goal line.

If we didn't have a game,I sure would like to come down and see this one.I'd just wait another week before you play the game however.{we're open on the 5th}.Since I sat with some good ole boys at our game with WB, I'll wish you guys good luck and hope you don't draw that fat ref with the tash,the one you guys hate.

I don't know how good they are,but the only difference in our play last night was a little bit weaker team on the other side, then in the games we lost. Making big plays next week and last night are a lot harder against OR.Let's win the games we should and not forget where we need to get by playoff time.

I agree,but I don't think the middle opened up good until we had some good passes. I hope their big defensive tackle is ok,but when he got hurt, we went in the middle better as well.33 was a beast last night in the running game.Stats don't tell just how tough he ran.Roll Tribe

We need to build on our passing game next friday . I think we win going away. I really like the way GC used more players on both sides of the ball last night.We could have went a lot deeper when the game was in hand during the forth, but still this will help our depth and get a lot more kids pumped up. Play them all if you can,and see what happens during the week. I think we build on a big victory next week.Roll Tribe

IT looked a lot like the WB game except we held on to the ball.We have to be able to put it up like that.10 made one of the best grabs of the year.33 made one of the best runs of the year.Give Chris a few more games and we will be ready for the playoffs,if we can keep it going in the air.Great job number 7,24,10,. Bateman,Sylvester and hogg had great games on the defense.

I knew we had to pass when your two big tackles closed it down on the inside.I hope that one big man,I think number 70 is allright.I thought a bunch of tribe fans were going to loose it during the first quarter,because you guys were taking it to us

He is more of a power runner than Sylvester,and doesn't care to take it straight at the defense. L. Taylor had a great night at fullback.Jamie C. made an outstanding catch and was a big factor in the passing game along with Lane Dukart . It was a great game for DB,really big after being down early

I tell it how it is,and if saying Chris is a Special athlete, a star, fine athlete,good polite kid,and should be starting on the varsity,.If thats beating up on a kid,beat the poopy out if mine. Now ,when you say that his 13 and 14 year old team mates look like cheerleaders,and he is doing it all.That's beating up on an entire team,and it don't matter if your dad,mom or not.One of those cheerleaders is GC son and he is a fine ball player and a great kid.Your the one that has been a jerk.....I'm glad you are not taking credit as his mom or dad,because a lot of people would be very mad at your comments toward their kids and hold it against a fine young ball player . You are doing the bashing and your seeing things that are not there. This is the last time I'll defend my comments which were meant to be very positive and some may have not come out in a good enough manner to suit you, once again read my post and read the stupid stuff you wrote.Who is bashing?

It sounds like you guys are ready to play .I hope our offense can break out,and I'm saying it will happen tonight. The DB defense will not hold forever,and we can't keep putting them on the field in bad places.This is a huge game for us,in terms of thinking we can win some of the close battles and turn this season around.Roll tribe
