this is going to a very tough game without jeffeson. He is just ones of those players that can do everything for you. I think if he was playing, ensworth wouldnt have been in this position or if they were, they could pull this game off with a W by a decent amount. But since he is not playing i have to say CB by 10 because of all that size and the depth/numbers they have

BGA is a much different team than last year, for the better that is.....they have came around to be a pretty good team and that surprised alot of people, but the injuries will kill them.... I think Bowers is going to make sure he wins this game, he wants the playoffs bad.....i bet he has got soe trick plays up his sleeves..... Also about the penalties. That wasn't very accurate...they were all in warren country and lets just say the refs didnt do to well. They called multiple calls on people that weren't in the game, and this goes both ways, but more for ensworth..... Ensworth by 17 good luck to both teams....great game

who will win this....this will have an effect on both teams when it comes to playoffs....important game for both.... i know ensworth won last year 28-10 but this seems to be a new bga team

can we stop all the talk about MBA vs RYAN...make a topic if you want to talk about that but this is about ensworth vs ryan. Ensworth will surely be down without Jefferson if he does not play. But they still have Orleans .O, and he is a very talented back. Although he is not as elusive, he pounds it at you.....But with jefferson out, this might make me reconsider this win with ensworth..... but in the end i think bowers will surly be able to work without him and put in a bunch of special plays for this game, heck we could see a good passing game from ensworth for all we know. I think this game will be won on special teams and through the air. Bowers pulls this one out with experience in coaching Ensworth by 13

Wow, this should be a great game, cant wait....Ryan is undefeated and Ensworth has that one tough loss to MBA (congrats on the win vs BA) Ryan seems to be a pretty good team on the D side this year, by not allowing many points, i dont know much about their O but they seem to be doing pretty well. Ensworth has been doing great in both area i think... But if you look at the schedules you see that Ryan only beat Knox Webb by 10 and ensworth beat them by a good 36 and ryan only beat McCallie by 3 when Ensworth beat them 21. I'de like to see ensworth pull this one out, in a tough matchup, but look for ensworth to pull away with all of that speed a good coaching. Ensworth by 10

great post, i agree with you, this will not be a blow out but it will come to the 4th and i think mba will forced to a couple of field goals and ensworth will always go for it on 4th. Ensworth wont kick a field goal and MBA will kick 2, but ensworth goes for a TD or nothing...... ensworth by 1

I have heard Bailey is out for this game. If this is true, this is a major plus to Ensworth, and gives them a major advantage. I went to the MBA v. Hiillsboro game and he would pancake a lineman then go blow over a linebacker. He is one heck of a player and makes a major difference for MBA and how they will do. Is this game on channel 2 now because Maryville is of 27 (CSS). I have heard CSS will be commentating the game on channel 2 because MAryville in playing on 27 (CSS). WOW! Orleans and Tavaress stink? they are some of the best backs in this division or even state. Orleans who you say is no good, has 32 less carries than your boy E.J but only 14 less yards? is he bad? He averages 10.1 yards per carry. Is he still bad? Oh yeah he is only a sophmore as well. Is he still awful? T lines up all over the field, at QB, WR and TB....you never know where he can be, so hard to prepare for him and he is good at all of those positions. Im sure 10 guys on MBA are not faster than Tavaress or Orleans. Even so, they have game speed and can cut back and forth and still be at full speed. But anyways i doubt they are faster, i saw them and they could fly! and be realistic, i know you are a MBA student who just think yall are incredible but if Ravenwood can score 28 points on yall, im sure a much more talented Ensworth can. HAHA tell me if this reminds you of anything from about 5 days ago... McCallie ---- 3-2 record. McCallie is down but Ensworth is too weak and small for us seems you had to change your mind now, maybe ensworth is a little better than you think, i think you might be mad that ensworth beat your team. Hillsboro beat themselves with all of those stupid plays in the red-zone, Matt Arent just choked. MBA really only has 3 other hards games from what i can see. BA, Ryan and Hillsboro. and Ensworths plays ryan and has played CPA. but MBA also has had Baylor, Ravenwood, Antioch and JPII. So schedule or not, both teams are 5-0 and we should give them credit for that. But Ensworth fans do know what they are talking about considering they felt like they would beat your team McCallie and they did, and you said they wouldn't. Dont attack such a big community like you did saying there is no ensworth fan that knows a thing about high school football, it is a character flaw, i know you are better than that. I finally got to see Ensworth play for the first time and they definitely impressed me with the monster win over McCallie who i dont think is a bad team, just has lost to 3 real good teams. Ensworth really showed they could play in this division with there OFF. which was no question but the D really did show something to me. They did have some big guys on the line, number 55 and the center were some big guys. The others were real quick and good for their 3 fast backs ( 9, 10 and 5). I was impressed with the passing as well, seeing number 20 have some good plays as well as number 18. And watching them switch out with number 2 and 15, who seem to be pretty athletic as well. MBA sure did prove themselves vs Hillsboro and is going to want to have this win BAD vs Ensworth but from what i saw Ensworth surly wont give it to them. I am terribly sorry about Bailey and hope it wont effect his career at Tennessee but this will Help Ensworth Tremendously. Good luck to both teams in this close game. Ensworth by 1-3 points. Great game by both teams and great facilities...Heck of a game to watch i must say. When it started it looked like Ensworth didn't have a chance. Ensworth would hit them at the line and then McCallie would push its way for 4 or 5 more yards. I thought it was going to be like this all game. But in the second half Ensworth look incredible. It looked like a whole new team in the second half. I was surprised McCallie took out number 10 the QB because he was heck of a good player. Soon as McCallie missed that field goal, Ensworth just took off and never looked back. They pounded the run and then went with the pass. Great Coaching i thought. Ensworths D in that second half was like a stone wall. Great job by both teams, i really like the addition to this division, it has put this division way above the rest. Great game both teams......might as well stop saying super 7 and call it the ELITE 8

what time is the game tonight? I've got to come to this one now, from all this talk, it seems to be a pretty good match-up. Im still on the fence about this game and thinking the fence is falling towards McCallie but slowly

ALL THE SAME AGE and have all been playing same amount of years i agree with the win by mccallie but i hate everyone getting on ensworth about age and maturity because it is just so wrong, come on guys

if any teams puts 11 in the box, they will be beat, they can just pass, so nobody will put 11 in the box. and im pretty sure their running backs are not overrated, considering there more productive one thus far is a SOPHOMORE - yes Orleans is a sophomore. What makes everybody think there line is so small too? Is it because they are new. I am pretty sure they have a big line, have you seen number 55 for them....huge and athletic. But i agree with you on one part, the QB. Ensworth has a good QB but McCallie is definitely better, McCallie should be able to pass on them pretty easily

Maturity is nothing, i hate that saying. They are all the same age and the same amount of matureness.....being mature wont make a difference, it is about who can play football better and there is nothing else to it period to the end. Being a new school doesnt make a difference either, why dont people treat all the schools the same, it is so annoying about there history (BA, MBA) and if they are new or not (ensworth). History was the past, who cares, it is about the present

You are obviously just on the McCallie ban Waggon and saying Ensworth is no good cause you want your team to win which is fine but not fair. You can not say a thing about a scrimmage, there is no preperation and all you are doing is trying to work on a few things. You are not running your whole playbook. Knowing Ricky Bowers, im sure he wouldnt try to give out some big plays and what is supposed to be good when it is just a scrimmage. I expect him to just run some up the middle and options and then basic passing routes. You cant say a thing about a scrimmage. And the only reason you say Ensworth is weak and small is because they are a new school so everybody expects them to do bad. they have size, it is just a matter of maturity, i think. Overal i can easily seeing McCallie wining this game but Coach Bowers and PAck and their staff will be well prepared for this game, and dont expect anything less. Ensworth is going to bring the hat and really could catch McCallie of guard if McCallie looks past this game cause Ensworth is a good football team. I say Ensworth by 1 td - will be a GREAT game to watch.....but going all out this game for ensworth could really set them up for a big hurting vs MBA cause ensworth could end with some bumps and bruses in this game

well i would call webb a pretty good team consitering they won state last year and still have their running backs and ensworth doubled their points so, you cant really say ensworth is bad if they beat last years state champions. Ensworths line is no small than most o-lines. Alot of people dont know mcuh about ensworth and just think that it is a new school so they must be bad. But that is not the case, ensworth has talent and one of the best running combinations you will see with T. Jefferson and Orleans Opoku-Darkwa....dont look for a blow out by either team, this will be a close game

EHS is for real....they showd some serious talent and look like a force that people dont even know about. They have the talent everywhere on the field. Have around 550 total yard with 150 passing and 400+ rushing. Watch out for Ensworth when it comes to the playoffs, they will make a deep long run if they keep playing like this
