Since you are a fountain of knowledge could you explain to me what the inside veer is? Or maybe you could tell me what the difference is between zone and man coverage because i'm a little confused. If nothing else could you please explain to me what a "zone" play is?

OK here we go. Congratulations to York you guys by far had the better team.Our offense struggled and our defense was merely not at all effective.Our boys played their hearts out but just couldn't get it together. Cody Rich(my little brother) did have quite a few good runs and I would like to let it be known how proud I am of him. i hope he has the same success in whichever school he decides to go with next year.I am also very proud of the tremendous record these seniors have compiled in the 4 years playing football at Smith County.Also congrats and thanks to the Smith County coaches for a heck of a year. With that out of the way congrats to York again for a well executed game.

Maybe you didn't have the weather we had here yesterday up on the mountain asby69 but there was quite a storm here,without the likes of an indoor practice facility our guys wouldn't have even gotten to practice. it was a very classy move by letting or friends(foes one week a year)across the river use our great facilities. Oh but wait you probably don't get off coacht long enough to see whats goin on in the real world.Make sure you turn your computer off long enough to see the best game of the year. Let's see on the reg season-------203 carries------1461 yards--------7.19 per carry I believe it could have been sustained, or is 203 carries not enough. GO OWLS

Not only will he have more than 13 carries I believe he will have a few receptions too.And as for the 7 yards a carry I firmly believe that it wasn't the "Big Dragon D" that held him to that, it was more like the coaches getting away from what was workin. Like I said, will be much different this go around.

I agree the football players do rarely get on here, Cody and all the other players just hear what we tell them.And yes Asby69 I am just goin on with the fun. How boring would the week really be If we couldn't talk it up. I agree YAI has a good defense ,but still think if #6 was given more carries than 13 it would have been a different story. I don't know what you consider "Money" up there on "the mountain" but Cody Rich did only have 13 carries and managed to have 89 yards. I believe that is 6.8 yards a carry. i really don't think that is loose change by far. you better believe of all the players on the team he is one that wants to make up for the one mistake he made in that game. As like all the OWLS he wants this rematch as much as anybody. Good luck to both teams and as bigreid said 11-1 is an extremely good finish. GO OWLS
