just adding my two cents. great game played by both teams, it was intense for those in the stands. however, while anna grace was in, becca was completely shut down. after anna grace came out, becca started having several more opportunities than i thought she would have been given had anna grace been in. also, with winn having to play centermid, she wasn't able to be put in as many scoring opportunities as she might have been. but again, congrats to a hard fought game by the riverdale warriors.

i also think 3-1. no matter how good any defense is, becca isn't shut down. but riverdale's defense is rather weak, so 3 goals to siegel.

granted riverdale is very good, i thought becca played weaker this year against blackman. it may be because we have a stronger team and have always had a very strong defense but becca did not have as many one on ones as she had against us last year. i remember last year hannah mcgowan and becca played off each other, lots of wall passes, but i don't think they had a single one this year.

blackman's starting forward is out for the rest of the season. possible tearing of her acl, still unsure as of yet. starting keeper seems to have a bone bruise on the top of her foot, but she may be back for the game against lebanon on thursday. tonight's game: blackman 3 white county 0

first goal wasn't offsides. second goal possibly could've been, wasn't in the right position. third goal shouldn't have been a goal [one the keeper mishandled]

her name is katie smith. and she is very talented. scores almost every game. you know if she gets the ball in the 18, she'll at least get a cross off if not a shot/goal. she's very tall, and uses that to her advantage.

i wish you could be there. i say it'll be close. but i'm just gonna let everyone underestimate us this year. i just know that the seniors need to step it up a little bit more, and if they can that game, then riverdale won't have an easy win like they're expecting.

i don't think cookeville is gonna be much in it this year. they lost a lot of seniors from last year, and already lost to blackman 3-1.

morning games aren't necessarily the best, and i for one know that i was still very tired since that was our 7th game in 7 days. blackman is continually improving with every game, and i think the game next tues against riverdale will be an interesting one. a narrow field makes a lot of difference. i think we'd be a much larger threat on a wider field.
