I agree this game will be in the 30s. HC is very capable of having long drives and they do have long drives. Most of there points have come off of big plays. They can light it up very quick, just as Goodpasture can. I see the difference in this game being turnovers.

Round 3. Tonight is the big night. The Dawgs are fired up and ready to play ball. It is going to be cold night, better bundle up and get there early if you want a seat. When you think of Goodpasture two things come to mind, PRIVATE school (enough said about that) and Past state champion. They have everyones respect. They are a good team. Tonight, Hickman County gets to take some respect for themself by beating Goodpasture. HC will finally have TV crews there and the Tennessean also. I look for the headline to read Goodpasture shocked by HC. Tonights game will be a hard hitting and high scoring game. DAWGS win 34-31. WHO LET THE DAWGS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would the game be moved to another field? I hope there is not any truth to this. No way that place would hold the crowd. Somebody needs to tell the Tennessean and news crews that there is football outside of Nashville and private schools.

I am glad LC at least got a little coverage. I really thought they would have covered the first game we played. You would think with a game of this satus that there would be several crews at the game on Friday night but I would not bet on it. There are still to many private and Nashville area teams left in the playoffs.

I have known most of the HC boys since they were in grade school. They are a good group of young men. They play with heart, desire and dedication. They will give it 100% on every play. This will be a hard fought war on Friday night. LC had better be prepared to play ball because if just one boy does not give 100% on every play HC will take advantage of that. I just hope the winner has something left for Goodpasture. If LC wins this game then you have my respect and I will be pulling for you to win it all. I hope the LC people will do the same. I do not believe that the Tennessean has done an article, this year, on either team nor has there been any TV crews covering any of the games. If I am wrong please correct me. This is because they have no respect for Hickman or Lewis Counties and niether does Ronnie Carter or the TSSAA. The only way either team will get any respect is to win it all! Any chance of extra bleachers for the huge HC crowd? #5 will be missed this friday night, but other players will step up. I am glad to see Scott Sowell back to 100%. I like the DAWGS in a close one. 7-0

Ha ha. that is funny, just remember talk is CHEAP. How about we let the players do all the talking on the field. This rematch should be a real war. Hey Dawgs all of Centerville is still proud of you. You have had a great season this year. It is not over yet! Two more regular season games and then comes playoffs. Use the last 2 games to prepare for the playoffs. Kyle, Ethan and Jon, this will be your first and only chance to play high school football against East Hickman. Make the best of it. I am sure the field will be sloppy tomorrow night so be careful. At least East will not have to run the sprinkler system all week to have a sloppy field. I wish the best of luck to both teams tomorrow night but I have to say go get em dawgs. Momma Wilson if this is really you, keep on doing what you love. Do not pay any attention to some of these yahoos. They know nothing about you and your Bulldog pride. For those who say it will be over after next year, just keep on thinking that. There are several good players on the team who are Sophmores and Freshmen and these boys also know how to play football. If you do not believe that, then ask the team that Justin had the 80 yard touchdown against. They know it is true.

HC goes to East hickman and to Richland , Then we will think about our next 5 games. Looks like we will both be playing in the champonship game.

It should be standing room only tomorrow night. With 2 very good teams it should be a great game. What kind of shape will the field be in after the rainfall today? Do you think there is a chance that some of the TV news crews will come and cover the game, if they can find there way out of Nashville or get away from the private schools?

Good job on this post. I played ball for HC in the early 80's. The game was about desire and community pride. There was a full house at every home game and also a large crowd at the away games. Over the last several years, the bleachers have been almost empty. It does might heart good to see a full house again. This group of young men from HC, are a special group of boys. They remind me of the eary 80's teams with heart, desire and pride. I wish the best of luck to both sides tomorrow night and lets have a clean and hard hitting game. How many people will the vistor side stands hold? The word is around 2,000 Hc fans will be making the trip.
