i played football at dchs in 2001 and i hope coach newsome gets the job, but i have to be honest i don't care who the coach is next years team is going to have to work EXTREAMLY hard to even get to .250 ball.....the numbers are down and not in the favor for coach newsome...but i hope he proves me wrong and takes this team to at least .500 ball

well as far as a map shows memphis is in west tn...and last year's championship game was the second round between ridgeway and dc and everyone knows that the winner of that game was going to blowout marshal county, and that happend when ridgeway pounded mc....and i am sure that the gold ball is once again going to run through memphis

well considering no one on the dc team was there in the early 90's it doesn't matter.....what about the ones that are there now...what have they done other than have a great year this year lets look at their careers...brain and montrelle can say that they had a darn good high school basketball career and they have the records and awards to prove it what about gc's seniors?

oh whats wrong??? no history....giles county is having a good year...so what its one year its not like they are gonna get past the first round especially if they play a memphis team

what has giles done in the past 3 years??? if you ask people that have seen both teams play i can tell you that 90% of them will say dc has the better team.....how many of gc's players have made all state in the past three years...was gc ever one of the most feared teams in the state in all classes? other than this past year has gc been ranked number 1, 2, or even 3??

i don't know all his number's but i know he put up 32 points in the game against haywood and i also know that he is averaging somewhere in the 20's oh by the way for the past 3 years dc has been the wicked west

gonab has just said it best, haywood has beaten dc 2 out of 3 times this year and haywood has some great talent and i believe that we will see haywood at mtsu kicking somebody's tail.....we can talk about dc all we want but obviously dc is out and were beaten by a very very very very good team which has a good shot at winning it all....but then again competition is only gonna get tougher for haywood because the memphis teams are coming up and lord knows they can play some bball

thats good that you want to stay on track with your education but i think you could play ball somewhere i went and watched bethel play lambuth here in jackson and they have a good team but i think you could play at bethel and be successful

granted gc has made it farther than dc but who have they played????? and as far as the tssaa breathing down dc necks i am ashamed of that...i graduated from dc last year and i played two sports....what the bball team did had an effect on the baseball team of which i was apart it kinda took away what we could and couldn't do i mean it made it kinda hard to play knowing that if we got in one little scuffle then our season would be over

i have to laugh because gc doesn't play the competition that dc does i am 100% sure that if dc was in the region that gc is in they would absolutly dominate and i know that gc won't bring home the gold ball

yeah i will prolly go to the game monday since they are still in it...gotta support the county...matt is just down the hall from me and i think he should play football i mean it would be fun to have someone from the same county on the team....as far as blake goes i don't think he is here because i haven't seen him at all this entire year but i believe he could play but he would prolly be a rb because our lb's are in a league of their own....they are awsome but not taking anything away from blake, he is good too but our backers are older and know whats going on

its going well here at lambuth, we are going to start spring practice after next weeks spring break and things are looking really good for the up coming season

that was what, one game, wow gc beat ripley in one game what i am saying is that giles county is good BUT they don't play teams like dc, ripley, haywood, ridgeway, btw bring them down again to west tn and see what happens

i wouldn't call myself a star i just had a good year my senior year...made 1st team all-state DB on the AP poll the year was 2002 and haywood had and still has great talent they i think they will have strong teams for a while unless something bad happens...heaven forbid
