  1. I can't wait until Friday night at the greenwave.FCS and Watertown is always a heart pounding game for me, you just have to love rivalry games. I really hate to hear about all the boys' at FCS being hurt I saw two get hurt at DCA. Maybe they can shake it off and return later in the season. Watertown is looking pretty good right now and under the lights this coming Friday should be an interesting game. Sure would be nice to turn the green purple. Good luck to both teams!!!
  2. DCA had somewhere around 150/200 yards in penalties in the first half. FCS had 2 interceptions and a fumble recovery witch gave them 3 more chances to score last night and they needed them badly. So the score could have been a lot worse. I have read that Alsup is hurt and didn't play but I thought I saw him playing last night. Could have been wrong but it sure looked like him.
  3. FCS would have been better off using those 17 points against DCA, then they could have only lost by 1 TD. Worst I have ever seen FCS play.
  4. Yes, Watertown plays FCS @ FCS next Friday night. Talking about DCA, I have not heard anybody say anything about DCA losing somewhere around 150/200 yds in penalties in the 1st half. FCS recovered 2 interceptions and a fumble, giving them more opportunities to score, that they needed badly. So the score could have been a lot worse. I thought that I saw Alsup as QB last night but I could have been mistaken. By far the worst I have even seen FCS play but DCA looked really strong. I thought that the game would have been a lot closer.
  5. I have to say, my heart goes out to these boys. I have the utmost respect for the team every single game that I have watched these guys seem to give their heart. Win a game or not These boys' are already winners. Also, regarding the fan base that attends the games. When we played Mount Juliet Christian there were more players on the sideline than there were fans in the seats. I'm rooting for RBS COME ON PEOPLE !! GET OUT THERE AND SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL AND THE KIDS !! Good luck this year RBS !!
  6. That's too bad, I hate to hear about any of the boys' getting hurt. We will look forward to playing them again this year. I have to say though it sure would be nice to beat them on there home field !! I'll be there tomorrow night to see them play DCA.
  7. No bubble bursted here. If your counting on 1 player to make a team. You will need that excuse for many years to come.
  8. Playing Gville and FCS are always games that you love to hate. What I mean by that is, you know that it is going to be a hard fight for every yard and you love the adrenalin rush. FCS we'll definitely be are first real challenge, not to discount Trousdale, but we had heard they were struggling this year. I hope we will make the playoffs this year unlike last year with some seriously bad referee calls ( if you were there you know what I'm talking about). But whatever the team and for the love of the game I hope that all the boys stay healthy and unhurt !!
  9. Thanks yjacket for the support. We have a team this year that what they lack in size they replace with heart. The jackets that I saw last night were not the ones I have seen in recent years. But if I know Satterfield, it will not be long until they come back.
  10. Predictions are good, but stats are better.7-0 watertown. I will say though, we are getting better, but Trousdale is not the team they have been.
  11. Well, it would appear after all the NAAA sayers Purple pulled it off for 2 years in a row. No fluke this year! Just good hard football with a lot of heart.
