Just wanted to say congrats to Central for another great season, the boys could have won the game if they would have kept their heads on, think they lost composure when #56 Stiles and #11 Rayl went out, but nevertheless great season even tho we lost. And congrats to Dekalb, wish them the best of luck the rest of the season. Also wanted to congratulate Hunter Poteete for very good sportsmanship he is a very respectful player with a good attitude.

I havent heard anything about tyner so far, but it'll be a tough game for central probably because tyner usually has somewhat of tallent. Central has two starters out with Ryne Rayburn out with a broken hand and Michael Nicolo out with a torn hamstring. plus they have 2 or 3 ppl out on the bench so thats 4 to 5 players total out of a 12 or 13 man team....its going to be tough

i say Polk Co 17 Mcminn Central 24......polk may be a hard hitting football team and i congratulate them on that but hard hitting doesn't stop you from scoring. central will bring this 7 year streak to an end friday night ......central can go too deep with running backs and wear down polks hard hitting D.....btw anyone see what i seen on the news?....Ooltewah had two players get in trouble and it was on the news and all their coach made them do was run extra laps and sit out one game so i think coach derrick has the program under control but anyways . 17-24 central....GO CHARGERS!

The shooting was pointed toward the whole school. So i guess its coach derricks fault for that too?.....its kinda funny how ppl who dont like central get one little problem and come on here and blow it up like a football player killed someone and the say its coach derricks fault. Coach D had nothing to do with this problem this was not even related to school when it happend. And your gonna say coach d should have discipline over his players and they have respect. Well i'm sure all the players for every sports activity in the world never get in trouble from little league all the way to pro right? If those kids didnt respect coach d they probably wouldnt be on the team i'm pretty sure. So please stop gettin on here and bashing coach d when he didnt have anything to do with the problem.

Polk has played howard and central hasn't, but howards region record is 6-0 and centrals region record is 6-0 so technically we are tied for first.

Very sorry to hear that Grundy lost a coach, dad, friend.....may God be with your school and community and most important the family!......you will be in our thoughts and prayers from Mcminn Central High School. God Bless!

Mcminn Central is coming off a 47-0 win over T.P. which helped them discover which younger players could step up and help the team with the game. With them finding that out i'm sure it will help them in the long run. Now whats everyones predicitions on the Mcminn Central and Grundy game i'm sure they will want to extend their winning streak to 7 games thats right 7 games man its good to be a charger fan this year. GO CHARGERS!!!!

Mcminn Central is coming off a 28-0 win over East Ridge which takes them to 5-1. I think Mcminn Central will win this big; as long as they dont make alot of turnovers and can capitilize on those big passes and not drop them because Tellico can't contain the speed of Central.
