The fact that Richland used Shelbyville's hitting facility had nothing to do with Cascade's loss. For someone to even think so is crazy. Cascade had a great year and to "put the blame" for their season ending loss on the use of a hitting facility before takes away from their successful season. Grow up!!!

Then how do you know that the person or persons that chose the all region team didn't look at all the aspects, not just points? I did see the game and I also think it was the best choice for that one game.

Did you see Riverdale's stat sheet, I would think it would be hard to come up with a player based on that single game. Lanning did hit three 3-pointers that keep them in it early!

What high school teams get the best coverage in their local papers?

With Shelbyille, Franklin Co., Tullahoma and Lawrence Co., this District might be as strong as it has been in a while, and don't forget Columbia. For the first time in a while, District 8AAA might be stronger than the other district in our region. White Co. is going to be a great challange though!

Saw Cascade last week at Forrest and was really not that impressed. Very week region except for Jo Burns.

I agree, Cascade's offensive coordinator is a good Class 1A coordinator. Keep up the good work!

homecooken, You seem to think you know a lot, hum, lets see now: According to post on this message board, first it was SCHS's principal to blame, now it's the head coach, I wonder who it will be tomorrow???? The band director? Nick is the one who choose to transfer to Cascade and leave Shelbyville and he was told by Cascade administration that he might not be eligible. Perhaps he's been mislead by someone else at Cascade. (Just a thought!!), maybe a former SCHS football coach!!

Treyvols99, why all the hate. Cascade needs to focus on their season and not worry so much about someone being "cleared" to play. It's things like this that takes the focus off the game and makes it more possible for a team to slip up and upset the Champions. By the way, Cascade has had a number of one win seasons over the years if you're counting!!!! Enough already!!
