  1. Ryan Pino--Friendship Christian Commanders
  2. the Friendship Christian Commander bowling team is now seeded #6 in the district playoffs. They were ranked last and lookin' to end up how all first-year teams end up, last place. None of the players have ever bowled in their careers. There are 5 seniors and 4 of them are in the starting rotation. In fact, tonight they tied 9-9 in head-to-head games with #3 Antioch. They loss by around 100 pins. That's an average of around 4 pins per game! This team can play and I wish the best to all of the students who have gotten the bowling team created. Good luck in the playoffs and next year to the underclassmen. FCS's District Standings at end of season (unoffical): 1. Mt. Juliet 2. Wilson Central 3. Antioch 4. DCA 5. Lebanon 6. FCS 7. Ezell Harding 8. Glencliff Day 1 Playoff Matchup: Mt. Juliet- bye Wilson Central- bye Antioch-Glencliff DCA-Ezell Harding Lebanon-FCS
  3. I'm not sayin that SP wasn't the better team. Im proud of the boys that played this year and im lookin forward to next year as well. The seniors this year were a great group of guys. ALOT OF HEART. Maybe the Juniors can carry that attitude forward. It was a tough year with injuries all year long. What I was sayin is that Coach Mac has ran his mouth off about some other coaches this year. Plus, constantly all year on 3rd & 10's, 2nd & 15's, 3rd & lets just say LONG, he would call QB draws or sneaks. Just some questionable play-calling it seemed like most of the year. Like at SP, trailing 34-7 with only 0:05 on the clock, he trys for a field goal that I believe was like a 40-yard attempt. Baker, the kicker, has never made one that long and it wasn't close. (I'm not trying to bash the kicker I'm just stating the facts). Trailing by 4 touchdowns and a team as explosive as South Pitt, you can't settle for a long attempt at 3 points when it virtually does nothin' for you. Even if the kick would've been good, it would still be a 4 possession game. At when South Pitt scored on every possession, he should've noticed that the boys in green couldn't stop the Pirates and made adjustments. Strange game plan + strange play callin'= season over. Congrats on a good season though to those seniors. I hate to see them watch their highschool football career end on a mercy-rule blowout. I really felt for them. Although, some may still play at the next level. I've heard Jeremy Rickaway (#32) has Vandy lookin at him to play football, and GL Waynick (#63) has some schools looking at him for football, wrestling, and baseball. Even though he was hurt most of his senior year, Bryant Alsup (#12) has some schools interested in his baseball and football skills. Good luck to all of these guys and the rest of the seniors. We'll miss you!
  4. Congrats to South Pitt on the win over us (FCS). We played like crap. We were not ready at all. Thank you Johnny Mac for another big game choke. Good luck next year!
  5. Green Nation, are you feelin' Horn-y? I AM LET's GO GREEN
  6. Let's go FCS! Can Gordonsville and Friendship possibly re-create maybe the best 1A Highschool football game ever or maybe the one of the best highschool games ever (20-19 Round 2 of the 2006 playoffs). Cumminscommander, dont let them people get ya down. I'll be right there beside ya painted up & im paintin my hair for this one..... (along w/ leadin them out of the tunnel). LET'S GO COMMANDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. SC please go out and take it to Portland. If they have to same QB as last year (which I think he was a freshman or sophmore last year so he should still be the QB unless they benched him) they should be no problem. I know him and he's very cocky. I don't even play HS football for my school (I could but I have to work) but I think I am probably better than he is. He's extremely cocky even though they won all of like two games last year, lol. SC, take it to them, they should be eaaaasy.
  8. This game is interesting. I believe it is the first time these guys have played (atleast the first time in a while). Does anyone know about ERHS's first 4 games? Friendship goes as followed: 1. W 31-0 Ezell Harding (2A) 2. W 41-25 Clay Co. 3. L 34-7 DCA (2A) 4. W 17-0 Watertown (Rivalry) *The season opener was pretty much a run it right at you smashmouth football. Ezell had no answer for #32 Jeremy Rickaway. However, we did loose our starting QB for about 8 weeks in that game. Clay Co. was interesting. Clay Co was actually leading at halftime, but Friendship came out in the second half and put them away.FCS only had 2 seniors starting against DCA. We had a total of 8 starters out, and on the first play of the game @ DCA we lost another. So, the loss really doesnt say much because DCA pretty much beat our JV. The win against Watertown was a big shutout victory over our rivals in 4-1A. I'm not sure of anything about ERHS. Will someone please describe some of their games? However, there is one thing I do know, since it's at FCS, it will be LOUD.
  9. First off, yes our players are good. This senior class (class of 08 YEAH) is goin to be missed for sure next year. But, for your information, we have 4 horns and only one was operational last night. Good luck next week!
  10. FCS's 3 headed monster in the backfield has been crippled with long injuries this year. But, they should have everyone back for their two big games (g-ville & tco). I think: FCS Gordonsville Watertown Trousdale
  11. WOO! YEAH BABY! Let's go Friendship! That horn blew Watertown away! 3-1 and not looking back! SHUT OUT 17-0. Number 40= my favorite player (two muffed punts). WATERTOWN WHO?
