  1. What is funny is how you continually bash SC but when someone says something about GHS you start crying about it. If a family wants to move for whatever reason then why should a kid get punished by missing a year of football. Your restrictions that you support are leaning towards socialism. So you have athlete X that lived in an apartment in Gallatin zoned for GHS but his parent(s) moved in an apartment, or even better bought a house zoned for SCHS, he should have to sit out a year just because he is one heck of an athlete?
  2. As long as this "position" didn't go to school at GHS then there shouldn't be any problems. Has this "position" found wrong doings yet? I haven't heard anything on it. So as of right now your crying isn't legit. If he does than good for you. All your crying was worth it to you. I'm not about cheating so if they do find wrong doings than shame on SC. I disagree with you about the one year. What's the difference transferring in county than out of county as long as you moved into the area that is zoned for that school? Why punish a kid if his family decides to relocate to another area inside the county. Believe it or not some people actually decide they want to get away from Gallatin but stay in Sumner County.
  3. You cry about it ALL of the time on here. It has just gotten worse lately since SC has been beating GHS. Oh Really? I thought all the powers to be were against poor GHS and do everything for SCHS. I'm sure you'll continue to find something to cry about over SC.
  4. I agree with you in that #2 through #4 is up for grabs. Both SC and MJ have some major holes to fill on the line. Now that GHS is getting guys to transfer in and are eligible to play right away will GWAVE still complain about SC and their transfers?
  5. Anyone like to give their opinion of ranking the QBs this upcoming year?
  6. Chowbay has a strong arm but has to get better on the short and mid throws for this new Offense to be successful.
  7. it is indeed M. Duncan that is being talked about. I just don't know if it's official yet. If he gets it then congrats to him. A young but very knowledgeable coach. MJ has some young coaches that should translate well with the players. Hopefully last year was a learning year for players and coaches of what it will take to stay towards the top. This is a step in the right direction (Duncan)but may take a couple of years from being in the wing-t for so long. I"ll be cheering on the Bears except for when they play SC. Go BISON!
  8. Is it their QB coach (Duncan) that played for MJ?
  9. That would be a good one to go watch. If possible I'll be there.
  10. Congrats to Lovingood on his recent commitment to UT
  11. That's awsome! Good luck to the Bears this year! It will be difficult rooting against them when they play the Bison this year. Looks like next years Soph class is bringing in some size that was lacking this past year. Never cared for the all gold either.
  12. I'd have to give Furman a better chance on winning it outright this year. They have also recruited well the last few years and were very young last year. I know UTC beat them last year but Furman was playing their 4th string QB in that game and had a few more key players out due to injuries. Furman usually snags a good one or two out of TN each year.
  13. yes I do. He's played the lat 3 years for the Bison youth. He'll be playing middle school this next year. Proud of my son and the rest of the Bison 11-12 year olds. The last 3 years these (12 year olds) have produced 2 championships and 1 runner up. I'm gonna miss helping coach these guys.
  14. Good to hear Kisler. Good luck to your son this year. Any changes in the coaching staff for the upcoming season?
  15. The statement (SC's presence) was in response to GWAVE1 and not to you. He has voiced/complained whatever you want to call it for years now about SC taking away from GHS. I'm not at all concerned if you think I crossed the line or not with my statement. You have your opinion and I have mine and i'm more than OK with it. Have a good day.
  16. Whenever a new school comes in there are always going to be questions on why they zoned it that way. I watched it happen to MJ when Wilson Central opened up. With more houses and apartments being built around the Station Camp area hopefully you'll get your wish.
  17. I do agree with you but i'm glad they didn't.
  18. Are none of the board members GHS grads? I mentioned upgrading Gallatin's stadium before and was informed that y'all didn't need any more upgrades because of the fresh paint and new score board over the last few years. Everyone on here knows it's not about the upgrades for you. It's the simple fact that someone (SCHS) moved into your territory and your upset about it. The only thing that might make you happy is if SCHS went away.
  19. Are there any plans to rezone next year with all the recent growth around the Station Camp area or just add on to SCHS again?
  20. Will you support your team if they ever end up running this offense? I actually prefer an up tempo spread offense myself but also know that you can win with a wing-t offense or any other offense as long as you have a great defense and special teams. Coach R. Perry's wing-t scored many of points but was lacking a solid defense to win it all.
