  1. I think Roderick Davis is a very talented WR. I also believe that Wooddale has some other guys that are very talented. If anybody has a chance ask Rod. D. about the McGavock H.S. DB that he had one-on-one pass sessions with at Ole Miss this Summer. I hope Roderick got something out of those workouts; I know they helped Jaquan tremendously. Nashville McGavock Raiders
  2. Alright, IN2DEEP, if you weren't so dumb then maybe you would have been able to comprehend what was being said in the first post. MAPLEWOOD SHOWS NO CLASS ON THURSDAY; MCGAVOCK GETS PAYBACK ON FRIDAY! Do you understand that!
  3. AND ANOTHER THING BOOT-SEE, IF YOU WERE IN THE CLASS OF 95, I DON'T THINK YOU EVER SAW A WINNING SEASON. KEEP LIVING YOUR LIFE THROUGH THE KIDS YOU'LL MAKE IT.
  4. Look boy-see (boski), the real reason that McGavock went for two and kept trying to score was because the thursday Freshman game Maplewood ran a play with 40 or 50 sec. left on the clock and scored when they could have taken a knee. Eye for an Eye, wouldn't you say BOYSEE!
  5. Tut, I see you have somewhat of a problem with Broome being a head coach, preferably at McGavock. Have you applied for the job or have all of the bridges you have crossed crumbled behind you!
  6. Everyone has done all this talk about who is going to be the new Head Coach, but what about where the old Head Coach, Doris Armstrong, is going. I here where he is going he should have been there as Head Coach years ago.
  7. Tut you may be stating a good case, but sometimes you just have to know when to hang up your hat. You can't ###### everybody off all of the time when you think you are on top!!!!!
  8. Yeah, and I'm sure you've had your share of one question test during your "SPECIAL" educational endeavors.
  9. So glad you can see the future, "Miss Cleo". Oh, and by the way, next time do it in your head and stop using your fingers!!!!
  10. Correction on previous post by nununu, Coker, if he wins will be a 2x 100 State Champion and a 2x not 3x 200 State Champion. Sean Waller took the 100, 200, & 400 in 2002
  11. What are Jeffers' times this year?
  12. I also heard that Hillwood's 4x200 ran a 1:25, which sounds a little far fetched, but I was given second-hand information.
  13. Cordova is pretty strong, but they ran a mediocre 4x400 at the Germantown Classic; 3:32 FAT, but never count them out because that 3:16.16 that is in the State record books belongs to Cordova.
  14. Blast him if you to, but Coker will definitely bring it when the heavy competition comes calling. I wasn't a believer until after the Region & State meet last year, but he hands down is the top 100 & 200 sprinter in Region III.
  15. Whoever started this post is in a fantasy land. Coker, no question is regardably the favorite to win the 100 & 200 in the state, but you named to guys out of Metro without even considering sprinters out of Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or any surrounding counties. They might have trouble getting out of our Region!!!!
  16. I heard that Hillwood has run the fastest time in the 4x400 this year, 3:24 at Doug Halls. Does anyone know any other boy's times this year.
  17. I have only known Coach Lewis for a short period of time, but I think he is a pretty good coach and as it seems he has ressurrected Hillwood's boys teams. There are some other good boys teams in Metro as well like HL, MHS, WCHS, McGHS, and a couple of others. Question, What teams from Metro are going to the Kenwood Classic?
  18. Last season, Nelson Rutledge of Stratford High School took 1st in the 400m & 200m and 3rd in 100m with times of 11.1 in the 100, 22.3 in the 200, and 50.3 in the 400 at the Freshman City Championships at MBA. Rutledge was unable to qualify for Regional Finals due to a hamstring injury, but ran second leg on the 4x200m relay which won the Region and also Won State with a time of 1:26.89, with Rutledge's split being a 21.84. Watch for him at the 2003 Regionals in Kenwood. [Edited by BigTank on 4-3-03 8:24A]
  19. I agree that Stratford has alot of talent returning plus incoming ninth graders. Stratford is a good school that has gotten hammered by the media and people who don't care about the program. At almost every high school that is competitive there are more coaches than one can keep up with and it is a must that you have good help surrounding you or you're just setting yourself up for failure. What reason could a coach who gets the job give to another coach in order to get that coach to come and be on his staff? [Edited by BigTank on 3-12-03 9:17A]
  20. I think that whoever accepts this job has a great task on their hands and their hands alone if you catch my drift!!!

    Metro Jobs?

    Metro Jobs?

Could we please get back to what this post was originally about. Coaching positions: Glencliff-Abner, Hunters Lane-R. Campbell or Scott Smith, McGavock-Armstrong with Broome in his hip pocket. If Campbell leaves Stratford, could be big opportunity for Broome if he wants it, but he will have no help coaching wise in the building.

    Metro Jobs?

Answerking, I rarely ever disagree with any thing that you post on these threads because I find alot of the things you say to be amusing, but there is something that I have got to know. You blast CUJO by saying he's not ready for a coaching job because he won't own up to a mistake that never even involved you and you make reference to things that surround other coaches. It seems as if you know alot about erveryone else, why don't you let the COACHT Family in on some of your coaching successes.

    Metro Jobs?

CUJO, man you have got some Big Ones!! Great first posts putting your entire name was strange but nevertheless it was good.. That second pat on the back you just gave yourself was funny and you are about to see all of the sharks in the water. P.S. Between me and you get another name and then swing from that vine.
