Well I guess the nay sayers can stay quiet for a week. In the past two weeks we have won games with our running game and Defense. Whooda thunk it..... So although we are the greatest show on grass...until the state...then turf...we are showing that we are more than what the state thought we were. The one with the spartans will be great...but don't thhink the air game is gone you will see it again next friday...... GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BG

I love made up facts....We held WS over 100 yards under their average in passing and 50 in running. We completly dominated the houston game they got a great number of their yards on special teams and penalties. And all credit to Whitehaven but since then no team has reached their offensive averages. So being that I am sure you are not at the games are you just a cardinal hater...maybe because your team is not doing that well???? I hate that with all of the East tn hating on this board I now have to deal with some in the M-town....... Go back and check your game film...Every coach we have played has commented on our D as well as our O....But you stick with that sad hater attitude.....You know why Gtown fumbled????Because we were popping them EVERY play!!!!!!! So go check your stats..... Please tell me why Wooddales defense is still suspect? We have played almost every team under their season average. As far as the Gtown game goes.......Their defense was very good, we did what we had to do in a hostile environment. Our defense was very physical and really slowed Gtown. We want the region but if not we will take a state ring in its place. What a great year. BG

After this week only one team in 8-5a will be undefeated. From What I have seen if Wooddale can control the Blitz of the Spartans great Linebackers they will win. The Spartan secondary is suspect and Wooddale's qb will pick them apart if given time. The spartans have a couple of good recivers as well, but not compared to the cardinals. If we don't pick up those linebackers Mr. Perry will need some icy hot on saturday. This one is the comcast game of the week.................Huge in terms of playoff seeding. Big sneaky......You put a 3-4 MUS team in front of Wooddale and Covington tells me that you either don't know footbal or are totally biased. Get a grip. Wooddale will get their chance to prove themselves starting this thursday at Houston. You need to let the MUS thing go............ BG

Would'nt it be nice if we were one big county like S. Panola. Then we would have Perry , Davis, Cathey, Crawford, & Jasper all on the same team. Thats how S. Panola goes 4 years without losing. BG

If the Tigers line can contain Link (between the tackles) he will be slowed. He loves to throw off of a waggle. The recievers for The Spartans are not fast but they will make catch's. If you run man on them the can be stopped. Link will pick the zone apart. The White station running game isn't close to what it was. That shoul'nt be an issue. As far as Marks goes....White station likes to undercut the d-line and let the line backers make plays. If the Tiger lineman can stay on their feet and get upfield on the linebackers it will be a long night for the Spartans. White stations corners are slow. The Tigers need to test them deep. If they open up the playbook they will win. If the get into a grind it out game this plays to the Spartans favor. The won't pound you but they will dink and dunk you to death. You are by far the superior athletic team...if you use that you will win....If not..........you know the rest. This is one the Tigers need to set up the future Good luck, BG

I agree except East can beat The falcons if they stack the run. I am good friends with the secondary coach at East and these are their issues. No matter what their passer rating was last year this is a team that was built to run over the past 10 years. Their QB plays safety and was hurt in the Wooddale game tackling a 230 pound TE. The coach has overcomplicated the plays. He played at Miami and is tring to use their offensive and defensive playbook. Over 60 pages.. Needs to dumb it down and just focus on scoring and tackling. This will be a bad year for them but one year does not make a program BG

We played them a few weeks ago. They are aggressive on D but have nothing on O. #4 Walker is a great back but it is easy to stack up against him. Their secondary is suspect due to the constant blitzing. Toney can test them deep. Melrose 35----Hamilton 7 Good luck BG
