Do you CPA people not understand the disadvantage that a team like Hickman is in? These kids don't live by a D1 facility. They don't have the options of camps in their backyards and probably couldn't afford it anyways. The training they get is from their coaching staff. Call it whinning and crying if you want but all private schools should be together. Go back 10 to 15 years and look at the playoffs and the champions. How many rural schools do you see in the state championships? Not very many. I realize that it is a geographical factor but these kids deserve the exposure that the private schools get. alot of kids slip through the crack and never get a shot at college football while plenty of private school kids that may not be as good but are in the right place with the right connection have that advantage. They should put private schools together and give the rural schools a chance. I'm talking year in and year out.

It is easy to overlook East. As bad as I'd like to see them win, you are right, it will be an easy win but what does the future hold for East vs. Lewis Co.? I keep up with East High School and Middle School and if I'm not mistaken, East has beat Lewis Co. in middle school for the last 3 years and I personally watched them hammer Lewis Co. in the middle school playoffs this year 30 to 0 on their way to their first title beating an undefeated Fairview team. Coach Jones keep your head up because better days are coming and we won't be such an easy win. Just my 2 cents.......

Bulldogs rule,but for how long?I will answer that for you,1 more year after Scott leaves Swenson will head back home for Huntington.And for the future Hickmaan County Bulldogs has not got any ATHELETES coming out of the middle school were as there is many talented athletes headed to East High from East middle.

Just wonder what would happen if Scott Sowell (from East) didn't have 12 TD's over 500 yds. and came back to East or Cody Leaman and the others...... Just wondering.

DiViSion155duhduh??? Please stop and read your reply before you send it. You sound like a third grade student from SC. It is not your fault that there are only 7 seniors nor is it your fault that obviously they don't teach English or a typing class at SC. This don't make sense to me. He ran a fake field goal because East was rushing 11 on the extra pt? Who doesn't rush 11 on a field goal attempt?That is ridiculous....... If you don't want the score ran up on you then play defense, well maybe that is true. But, I will have to say that Coach Jones would not have called the same play against SC. But there is a difference when you are dealing with a team with NO CLASS. East will take their shots now but just know that if you do have a roster , you better notice all those Freshman and Sophmore names and the ones coming up next year and realize that SC won't stand a chance in two years. Book it!!!!!

THey gave you 9 points with one min. to go in the first half or otherwise you would have been 0 - 0 starting the 4th qtr. If their Freshman QB didn't go down with a bad ankle who knows what would have happened. You shut Waverly out who has over 10 starters out due to injuries and you shut out a J.V. team. What's going to happen when you play a real team. Lets check your ego after you play Camden. By the way, nice decision on the fake field goal up 22 - 0 with about 2:00 min to go. I bet you guys were worried about East Hickman's 24 point trick play they had. Way to show some class coach. I guess when you have been beat on for so long and you finally catch a J.V. team, you try and rub a little salt in the wound. I just hope you guys keep East on the schedule until those sophmores become seniors. That might get ugly. Just my two cents......Keep your heads up East, you played some hard nose defense last night. All your fans are proud of you.
