Ok, let's tell it like it is folks - Portland is down, but not out! Give these coaches some credit - yeah, the others were fired, left, whatever - Coach Sanders came into this gig knowing that he had to re-build a program. Building a program he is! You have to give him time. Some of you people get on here with negative stuff and lies! You may be a player but I doubt it? Could you be one of the "former, fired" coaches? Most likely! Coach Sanders is a fine man who does care about his players. He has a great staff who know a lot about football - they will turn this program around. It's tough when your school has a "state championship" under its belt as does Portland. These players practice and then play their hearts out on Friday nights - give them some credit for improving and trying to win instead of giving up and quitting!!!! Keep up the good work coaches and players!!!! Go Portland!!!

congrats to the Cougars! Since Page beat Indy in a scrimmage, Centennial should have beaten Indy which they did! Keep up the good work!

actually, Page is 2 classifications below Centennial - Page is 3A and CHS is 5A - and a lot can happen between now and Halloween!

I haven't seen anyone run the wishbone any better than DC does this year - they ran it down Centennial's throat all night long!!! Stop the wishbone and Antioch wins...

You know if half of those parents had to undergo the scrutiny that high school football coaches do on a regular basis they'd probably be looking for jobs themselves. shame on them for thinking they can "VOICE" TOGETHER AND cost a man his job! Just because your team isn't winning all the time is no reason to get someone fired!

they just didn't show much last night - Centennial hung with 'em the first half - Keylo Lee is good, but young; Anthonly Steele is good, but - the defense is good, but not good enough to hang with some of the teams they will play - Brentwood has also gotten better - Franklin doesn't seem to have as much size as they've always had - just my opinion, but at least I'm not bashing your program around like those idiots on the former "franklin football" site - I'm glad Coach T wised up and shut that down - you guys don't deserve to have happen to you what happened at Centennial - I hope your administration doesn't cave in to parents!!! I wish you luck,but, again, for the reasons listed above I just don't think you'll go far - If I'm wrong, I'll come on here and recant my remark - I'm not too good to admit if I made a mistake when it comes to an opinion

first half was maybe - we fell apart after the first drive ended so badly second half! - somebody needs to teach the kids how to tackle before next season rolls around - #4 should have kept running the ball - big difference in #10's performance from last week to this week - enough said, it's over - get in the weight room and get ready for next year!!! Franklin won't go far in the playoffs...
