Just an observation, but if the man could go, get a degree, and become a coach, then he should know that telling kids that they can do what they want and not get punished or only worrying about their appearance on the field, then hard losses like this past Friday are only going to come more often. I bet it is not easy to be a coach, I have never walked around in a coach's shoes before, but the way I look at it, the main problems is not on the playing field, but in the minds/ hearts of the players. And I for one think it is because of a lack of discipline from your dear Coach P. You know, its funny what a turn a program can take in a year.

First of all, let me congradulate Greenfield for their win over LC. I was not at the game, but I had people calling me and telling me updates of what was going on. From what I can gather from what I see on here, and what was being told to me from over the phone, it seemed like Greenfield came to play and Lake County did not. I do not know the Lake County players personally, and I do not want to blame or talk about kids, but I have wondered about where some of those guy's hearts were at. I know it is not all of them, there is just a select few. The body language i seen at some of the games that I did get to go see, seemed to lack confidence. Like there was no fire in them. To me, it looked like some of them only wanted to have a good appearance and be Mr. Cool Mac Daddy. I was a teenager myself, and yes, I know what they are thinking, and I do not blame the players at all. My thing is if Lake County had a coach who could keep those boys focused on the game and not on appearances then LC may very well be in the playoffs right now. LC had a good team this season, but they just did not show it and to me it all starts at the top. Coach P does not know how to handle his team. He let one kid get away with trying to be a gangster and then that same kid gets suspended from the team on the last week? He should have never been on the team to start with. Having team pool parties and movie nights is fine and dandy, but when it cuts into practice time then that is wrong. Heck, Coach P didnt even have the boys practicing in pads the week of the Bruceton game from what I hear. I read on here about Coach P and women or something like that, well, his personal life is none of my business, but if his personal life is cutting into LC football time then a stop needs to be put to that. Wait, I forgot, Lake County is not in the playoffs now. My bad. If you want to talk about a disgrace, getting beaten by Greenfield is not a disgrace. It was their turn to beat LC and that is what they did. A disgrace is having a good football team and knowing that your football team is good, but not enforcing discipline, not worried about how they play or act. I feel bad for the LC Football boys that they have someone who dont seem to give a hoot in charge there. Coach B, if you are reading this, please come back to Lake County. Maybe you can straighten this mess out.

Well lcfalconfever, in the coach's defense I would have to say that he could not have stopped the trash talking. Why you may ask? I'll tell you why. Coach P was letting a few slip out on the sidelines lastnight himself. So, I guess the Falcon players were just being led by example. As for the qb, yeah he should know when to let go of the ball. It seems to me that he is only worried about looking good. I had no idea that Coach P did not dress his guys out this week. WHAT WAS HE THINKING??????? We all know that Coach B would have never done that. This isn't high society 4-A Georgia ball now hotshot. I do agree. Jarvis was running the rock well Friday night. I wonder why he didn't get the ball more. Oops, I forgot, it's supposed to be the "Seth "Hollywood" Hinson show".

So, Westview has 30-50 lbs on your linemen like UC has way more players than LC does. However this is widely known so go cry on your own thread about Westview, this is a Bruceton-Lake County thread and thats what needs to be discussed. Another classic single A matchup. I do think that Lake County will have to really get things going early to hang with the Tigers. If the Bruceton secondary is a little off (as Ive seen on here mentioned a few times) then I do believe Hinson will have a field day. As for the Bruceton running game, I believe that they will pile up major yardage in Tiptonville, but it doesnt matter what I believe, thats why the game is played. I just hope that the Falcon defense can step up and handle things come Friday! Cant wait till kickoff!! Go Falcons and good luck Tigers!

You know if you have a problem or a concern about coach P then go talk to him like you told falconfever. So what if he is not your hero? There is no need to air your dislikes on a coach. As for the gun I dont know the details but if that was my kid he wouldnt be on the football team. Lake County has more to worry about than the thugs on the team. Anyway, back to football. LC has Halls this week. Any predictions? Is Hinson playing this week or is that yet to be determined?
