Not wanting to start rumors just the facts please: understand that the middle school girls coach is not coming back and that the high school girls coach may get a promotion so he won't be back either. Does anyone know who will be coaching these teams next year? Please no rumors..........

Well, it has been such a nice discussion and using your real name makes you such a real person, so many do that on here...... I am glad you won't waste more space on here defending your daughter, you have done the damage in her eyes and since you can't answer all the posts.......... (Why is starting so important to you? Didn't your daughter finish? Doesn't she play more than others? Didn't you or a family member start this mess of a post anyway? I am sure we all know the answers...........you don't need to reply) you only chose to focus on the negative well that speaks volumes about you, the damage that has been done. Thanks for your two cents. Nice that you are spending the day teaching children, I am sure CoachT is in the cirriculumn or maybe you have taken off the last two days to defend your daughter. I am sure your boss will excuse that!! You can't protect your child forever......she is a great athlete and from what I can tell a great kid, but you have to let go! Good Luck VB Eaglettes, don't let all this mess with the good basketball that you are playing. Coach B stick to the game plan, keep doing what you feel is right. There is a reason you succeed as a coach and others don't make it.

Amazing thing is she does work with our children, she is our volleyball coach ..............lucky for us. Her daughter is always better than our children, at everything. We watched it all volleyball season. Nice to have a Coach like her ruining our system.................................................................. because her daughter is the BEST!! and can do NO WRONG!! We all know the real deal!!

I have been following the VB girls and boys teams all year. At times to say the least the girls have struggled. I have not been a supporter to all the choices that have been made. I asked a lot of questions last night as to what was going on......... My first question: please a pagent is a school function? I thought it was the county fair? Then I heard it was more than a game missed, it was several practices (even a practice that the pagent wasn't going on yet). There have been other starters throughout the year that have not started for reasons, someone had stepped up or whatever. I do know that some kids have been sick but still came to practice, that is a big difference in my opinion. It is my opinion solely that if your child was the starter and missed and others stepped up they DESERVE to start the next game or until the chemistry is effected. My question is if the player is still getting the playing time what does it matter who starts or finishes? Isn't a WIN a WIN??

WOW, if you missed this one...........you missed a GREAT game, it was a lot of fun to watch as well. I was also pleassed the refs let them have at it the second half. Sure it was discussed at half time. Hats off to Pickett for not dropping your heads when we had you down. I think that we had them where we wanted them, we just couldn't hold on. Great game boys........you did your school, parents, fans proud. Keep the heads held high. We will get them next go round!!

I haven't agreed with many of the coaching decisions made this year but for me it was a good choice to slow the tempo and hold the ball. We were up by two and we were forcing them (in foul trouble) to do something. Instead of us forcing a shot and a turnover. I thought the girls were coached well at the end of the game last night. Maybe an additional time out could have been used at the end when our girl got in trouble. But I thought the choice was the right one. We just didn't finish last night. Agree, we will have our hands full. IF the same team comes out tonight as did the second half last night it should be a good game.

The topic of this forum was "seek the answers"......I am entitled to my opinion. Since I was not able to make either game this week I can only assume when I read a post like this there are some issues. I can only assume that when I read that the girls dont have the motivation and desire to play....that is leadership. I am concerned because these girls have more talent than ANY VB team we have had and we are settling for a .500 season. I am concerned because when I talk to pepole I hear that these people they now let have a part of our girls team .........tell me............she is there to help motivate and pull the "team" together. I am concerned becasue the coaches aren't listening to the anger these parents are having. I also heard in the middle of the girls game a parent "from the stands" was yelling at their daughter on the floor. That is frustration towards the lack of leadership the coaches should be providing. Then, I read that the "team" is unmotivated and can't seem to want to play. I think it is simple what the problem is. I know Coach Sullivan used to be right by Binkley's side. They did fine together. Why did that change? Sullivan seems to have that winning frame of mind that he needs to instill in Binkley's coaching philosophy, not a "have fun" time this new "outside" influence has brought. I really would look at that when we talk about the girls not being "MOTIVATED".......the outside is in the way!! Go back to what worked for you Coach B!!

So.......are you saying it is the coaching or the girls that are the problem? I didnt get to make the game tonight. I have been on here waiting to see the posts and scores. Did the girls just not perform or where they not coached again? As I stated before, I am not sure why all the outside people are helping with the team now. Coach Sullivan is winning games, maybe he needs to coach both!

Way to go VB Eagles, I couldn't be at the game, but from what I hear, way to step up. A win on the road is always a plus. Keep this winning up, the fans are enjoying it.Coach Sullivan really has something going this year. Keep it up coach.

Everyone sticking to their predictions??

I have followed both the girls and boys basketball teams for years. I was having a discussion at half time of one of the games the other day. I have a few questions if someone could answer them......first did something happen that we now have two female's sitting on the bench one on our girls varsity and one at our middle school teams? I ask this because it seems as though (the varsity) whom did better without that. Was is Coach Sullivan not helping with the girls anymore? He is winning games............... Thank you I am just curious and neither are teachers at the school.

Give credit where credit is due: VB boys are for real this year. Bake and Smith are not going to let their senior year pass them by. I have watched these boys for a lot of years and I don't think anyone is taking us serious yet, but they will. Look at our scores and what we have done so far. The supporting cast for VB is stepping it, it truly is a "team" effort this year. You just don' t know who is going to walk on the floor and give the minutes they need to. Watch out Forrest (Friday Night)!! Our Boys on the Mountain aare in it for long journey this year!!

I think that how VB plays will set the pace for their season in the district Friday night. The girls started out the season very strong, but have not played as well as a team the past few games. They are capable of going a long way if they will all play. I think that Friday night will set the pace for their district season. I wouldn't want to be on the receieving end of what they are capable of. I hope they give it to Forrest. It will be a very good game and one that should be a very well matched group of teams. I am sure that the MOUNTAIN will be there in full force supporting both our boys and girls teams.

I have to agree, we draw one of the best crowds around. We LOVE our basketball on the mountain. It is our first District game as well. How have your girls looked? We show moments of greatness but just haven't put a full game together.I have to agree on being injury free and good luck to both.

I am a huge VB follower/supporter........I am hoping to see a good game on the mountain on Friday night. I hope our girls come to play so we can give Forrest some competition. Our girls have all the talent in the world but they just aren't putting it all together yet. Forrest could be that break out game...... watch out Forrest!
