BA had enough unforced turnovers themselves to make a case that turnovers didnt play a huge factor. Gary Pope is overrated. He put up the quietest 20+ Ive ever seen while Rob Murphy for BA was a hoss on the boards and threw an unexpected dunk down in transition. BA took the lead four minutes into the game and never lost it. Every time Ensworth came close BA stepped up on D. BA looked better at every position. Its a shame Jefferson is hurt because if he was running the show at point they are one of the top teams in the state.

Thad McHaney, the TE/DE for BA in the class of 2009 picked up an offer from South Carolina over the weekend.

Hes not the best athlete in the world and is a better baseball player than basketball, but Jacob Stallings deserves mentioning on this list. He's an amazing shooter from deep (shooting better than 50%) and automatic at the line. He's averaging 25 points a game and 4 or 5 assists due to consistent double teams on the perimeter. Hes pretty good.

How big are those guys? I mean I know Preston's a big boy but how big are the other guys? Can they match up with the skilled 6'6, 6'7 guys from BA and Ensworth?

Good One. Preston is just a big body...great football player...not a great basketball player....

Ryan is usually pretty decent...MBA lost alot of their team from last year and BGA lost their post but they still have Parker at point who is pretty good. JPII wasn't very good last year and I dont know anything about them this year

The Div II teams from the west...St George's and Briarcrest are the favorites for state...but I agree that itll come down to BA and Ensworth from the middle region. BA has a lot of unproven talent and Jacob Stallings is one of the best shooters in the state. Rob Murphy is a strong 6'6 post that is getting looks from smaller D1 schools. They have some really good young players. I believe that they can beat EHS for the Middle region but theyre both pretty good.
