West Carroll takes the short trip across the county to play Bruceton in week one. I haven't heard how WC is this year, but they always play us tough and with a bunch of heart. I cant wait to get the season underway. Bruceton has a lot of speed this year and one of the best RBs in west TN. our defense seems improved over last year in the scrimmages so far. will get a better idea after we scrimmage Camden this Friday. Hey guys, how bout some BOLD predictions about the teams I our region? I'm gonna start with my Bruceton tigers, RB #49 Z. Johnson will be a Mr. Football finalist. The winner of the region will not finish the regular season undefeated. Huntingdon won't have a 1000 yard rusher this season. One of the teams that made the playoffs last year won't this year. A team that's 5-5 will make playoffs over a team with a better overall record. A team from our region will make the 3rd round of playoffs. Huntingdon beats Wayne county by less then a TD. A huge upset will come from teams in our region. Thanks everyone, these are mine, let's hear y'alls

hey guys just so you know there are only 50 more days till the season starts. let the trash talking begin. also are we gonna pick games like we did last year. that was a lot of fun and kept all the schools in the region in the thread talked about each week.

id take that bet. ive never seen anyone catch him in open field or catch up from behind and tackle him. id go on a limb and say he is one of the fastest in west tn at any school classification. maybe even the state. he squats 485, benches 290, powercleans 255, and has a 40 time of 4.32. this kid is a beast. and can run you over or run right past you

#49 is Zaveon Johnson. and the kid can fly. this off season he has put on a little muscle and hasn't lost any speed. you can watch his highlights on unapproved website or hudl we lost a few key spots. Knuutilla was our anchor on ol and dl. he will be going to a D1 school this fall at Morehead State. we should compete for a playoff spot this year. don't think we can hang with WC or huntingdon this year. but who knows. football always throws some surprises at us every year. o btw. only 73 days till the season starts

how did everyones spring go this year? Bruceton just had a scrimmage against greenfield and they dominated in all three phases. Offense scored on almost every time and the defense forced 4 turnovers. Bruceton boys are focused as ive ever seen them in recent years. im ready for the season to start already!!

does anyone know when the schedules will be up? I seen on the news where that new Jackson coach added Milan to the schedule.

That's good to here. I like when the smaller schools beat up on the bigger schools in the district. Id love to see my Tigers get up there and compete with Huntingdon. Bruceton hasn't won against them since 2004 or 2003 I cant remember exactly but its been too long either way

im liking WC for the region again this year, Huntingdon will prolly be strong. I don't think HC will be as productive, I hear they lost a lot of players, CA and Bruceton will most likely be decent again this year. MY Picks are Wayne County Huntingdon Clarksville Academy Bruceton

I don't know a whole lot about MC, I know they are a big school in a tough district. I'm still gonna pick Bruceton based on over all record and knowing nobody has out lasted bruceton offense, our defense ain't that great, might be a shoot out like 2 of our 3 games so far.
