Brandon Singleton is a standout soph. at Decatur County (Riverside) this year. He can score at will. Still has some maturing to do in several areas, but his raw ability is pretty impressive.

Correct... the TN Express 13U team was not there - due to injury I believe. The teams I saw were Giles Co EO Coffman MC Players (AAU) Tn Express (10U AAU) IMO MC Players appeared to be the best team there, followed closely by Giles Co. For their age, the Tn Express 10U who were playing up (basically 11yr olds playing against mostly 13yr olds) really impressed me. They played us (Decatur Co) very close in the 1st half, and only lost to EO Coffman by one I believe. It was a good day overall, and hopefully the Express were able to raise some funds for their Nationals trip.

Our middle school girls (Decatur Co) are going to attend this play-day. We've been doing really well in camps so far in West TN, but should take a beating or two at Lawrenceburg. I haven't mentioned to my daughter or any of our girls that most of the AAU girls they'll be playing will be going into 9th grade, but they'll probably figure it out pretty quick LOL. McNairy Central is hosting a camp this week 6/2 - 6/5 or 6/6 I'm not sure of all the teams there, but: McNairy Decatur Co Scotts Hill TCA (not sure, but their boys attended the boys camp there last week)

Thanks for the information guys.... Using the age calculator I found that although she's now 13, she is currently considered 12U. I also went to an aau site called "my child wants to play aau" and joined aau so that we can be contacted by prospective aau teams/ coaches. GC... I'm going to PM you my email address also. Thanks again for the help.

My 13 yr old daughter plays Middle School basketball and has shown some interest in playing AAU ball. We live in Decatur County, approx. 50m East of Jackson, TN. I was wondering if anyone had any contacts or a list of teams from the West TN area? Nashville and Memphis are too far, and we're very unfamiliar with AAU in general. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter plays for the Lady Panthers 13u (Decatur County Middle School), & I was wondering if most of the other teams in this were AAU? She's actually beginning to think of trying out for an AAU team in the near future, but we're not real sure where to start looking. We're located about halfway between Memphis and Nashville on the River, and aren't really aware of any teams besides Nashville and Memphis.
