Baller and bobcatfan, what made this team (2000 i think or 2001) so good. When you first saw them, you would not think they were very talented, but once they started playing, they just seemed to click. One of the best teams, as far as playing together, that i've seen in a long time.

I agree bobcatfan about that team. I believe they had 4 players on the 1st team(Crouch, Andy & Adam Asberry, and Nathan Aaron--MVP) and dominated the district. Only time I've ever heard of that many from the same team.

Many schools would love a coach of Coach Sims' stature. You should appreciate all the hard work he has put into this program.

They won the state in '90, so you would think they were in the finals. In '89 I believe they lost to Monterey. I think it goes back to about 86 or 87.

Tonight against UNC Ashville Emily Christian led the eaglettes with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Brackin hit 3 out of 4 three point baskets as well. Tech started 5 freshmen and recorded their 700th win in school history. Go Eaglettes.

I just heard the final score in this game, It was 78 - 59 Upperman. The Bees must be pretty tough this year.

What do you think about the freshmen's play so far for the lady Eaglettes. Emily Christian is their leading scorer and so far looks dominating against her competition. As a freshman thats pretty good. Brackin is playing good as well, hitting open shots and handling the ball. Let me know what you think about these up and coming eaglettes.
