  1. It's thinking like yours that gets teams beat! Hope the players take a diff. approach to the game than you. Keep looking toward BA and you will get a beat down. Being a small school has not stopped this school yet.
  2. And where in my post did you think I said FR would have any chance against either MBA or BA??
  3. Congrats on the big win Wildcats! Region 6 Champs, nic ring to it. From class of 77. Hey golfendude, aaslt and rangers lead the way! Good luck in the playoffs
  4. I agree with BA and MBA part of your post, but the verdict is still out on FR being a solid 3 spot. I will reserve my decision until I see how they perform in the playoffs!
  5. Sounds like a team that is in the process of self destruction. Fans all over their players (on the board) and "terrorist" w/ his pitifullllll post on getting to play MBA again (please). I think MBA has been the most focussed team in DII, nothing indicates that they will overlook anyone. Should have told johnbrown to stop posting during the week instead of after getting beat-down. I wonder if you had won the game tonight if you would have made that comment to johnbrown, or called him a genious (step up next time). Congrats BA
  6. BA 17 FRHS 7 EHS 24 BGA 10 We will see in a few hours!
  7. It's that attitude that gets a team beat, I hope the players take a diff. position than you. As a fan it's ok, but you can it big "crow" if your wrong.
  8. Your are right about that "dog", as we saw with the S.C. game this past weekend!! SHHHHHHHHHHH
  9. "Take it easy", what are you talking about?? If they take that approach they will get their butts kicked. Their approach must be to take care of business and put them away quickly. Any other philosophy is dangerous / stupid! I think MBA will be ready to make a statement. Only Friday night will tell.
  10. Great link, is that a coacht.com link?? Thanks for sharing..
  11. First real post I've seen on CB, I've been trying to find out what they have. Sounds like you are very bias, not that thats bad (most are). I liked your question about "how many Eric Watson's has ehs stopped this year". 1) Can you give me some background on Eric (stats, injury etc.). 2) Are you saying Vinsing, #8 (can't remember his name), Barthowlomew (sp) and Berry don't measure up to Watson?? They may not I'm just not familiar w/ Watson, please educate me?? 3) Has he had big yardage against every team they have played? 4) Every team has some weaknesses, what are CB?
  12. I think, but am not sure that it would be the diff. between being seated #4 vs #5. I may be worng.
  13. How do you come to that conclusion? Give me some football facts that back up that statement? I would be shocked if that happens!
  14. You must be confused, first it was BA by 25 and now you have FR by 43. Which is it, or will you change your mind tomorrow? BA 24 FR 7
  15. Hillsboro big, should allow the starters to rest up in the later part of the 3rd qtr.. The rest will be good going into the playoffs!
  16. Did bga lose a lot of players from last year?? Are they playing any freshman?? I looked up last years game between the two teams and ehs won 28-10, that has no impact on this years game but I would assume these are generally the same teams (minus injuries).
  17. First, MBA ,issed one FG. I would agree, scores can be misleading! It's called a game plan and if your strength is running you run. I know your not trying to say MBA held back on scoring in an effort to run out the clock. Where we disagree is that ehs got "killed". Both 1st teams were still in til the EOG. Once again, MBA is the better team, but on that night I would not say they "killed" ehs. As for all the other comments u made, injuries are part of football (you still have to play the game) - as you found out with C.J. missing the mba game. Enough said about a game that is in the past, time to look at next week and the upcoming playoff. Can't wait!
  18. I have to go w/ ehs in this one. BGA has too many injuries, I don't think they can handle them in spite of the fact that tavarus is out. Was reading the box scores for the HS games and noticed that ehs had 12 penalties for 178 yards. it will be hard to win a game against a good opponent w/ that many mistakes. I'm sure bowers will correct that. Not sure the implications this game will have on the playoffs?? Anyone give some insite??
  19. Your comment about ehs is interesting (ie mba killed them??), did you attend that game. They beat ehs and deserved to, but I would not call that killing them (14-0)??
  20. I guess the ignorant comments come from both side!!
  21. I can't believe the excuses. I did not read on the FR / EHS board where anyone (I can recall) kept making excuses for five interception that turned into 21 points. It's part of the game, don't degrade yourself by making excuses (deal with it).
  22. Please, this is a football board not wrestling! You just can't take the fact that MBA is the better team. We will see next week how FR responds to this loss, better have a good week of practice and not sooo much trash talking on the board. Good luck next week.
  23. MBA is the better team (not just tonight) and anyone that has seen both teams play knows this. Congrats to MBA players. On to next week, BA will take FR as well. Still a very good season for FR. Can't wait to hear some of the smack these posters from FR come up w/ next week???
