Do you not think the boys from Smith Co. would not like to have a trip to Alcoa. If the DRAGONS can pull off a victory tommorrow night, and yes i said if at this point in the season you don't get here by luck both these teams are good teams or they would be at home playing round ball. Anyway a trip to Alcoa would not be a bad thing. I know everyone has heard the saying to be the best you have to beat the best, you cant do that by not playing them. So I Love HS Football yes we want to play the best. Just like i am sure the Football team in S.C. does. What does any team have to lose that travels to Alcoa everyone has you beat before you step on field. I hope for a trip to Alcoa!!!!!!!! I used the word escape because that is what we done. Granted we did not play the best game ever. But as you all know some times you have to win ugly. It has been a while for us up on the mountain to have the chance to get excited about football. Last years team done a great job of getting us back on the right track. And who cares if someone says district or region it all good at the moment on the mountain. GO DRAGONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i said escape with a victory I mean they got 4 turn overs in the first half and did not take advange of them. I never said that they were not real. They have proven themselves to be the team to beat in the region, and to be honest if they show up and play the hard hitting football they have played all year i think they will win out. I will agree that the YORK/SC game was one of the best high school games i had watched in a long time. I really enjoy watching York's 3-4 defense and how well they attack the ball. The Dragons are on thier way back to the DRAGONS of old. HARD HITTING and all over the ball GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will admitt this DRAGON team is one the more exciting to watch than they have had in the past few years, but from what i saw at the Westmorland game they can be beat. They did not have the knock out punch tonight. When you get 4 turn overs in the first half and only get 12 points out of it and have to come up with the big defensive plays at the end just to escape with a victory. Kinda got me worried. But on the flip side a win is a win and it sure was a lot better drive home this time.
