Injury Report: After a VERY hard hitting game last friday, we are very healthy. Bumps and bruises. Everyone should be full steam and ready to play friday! Go BIG RED!!!

Patsdoc replied to Galilee's topic in Class 5A & Class 6A
I love going to the orange mound for a football game!! the fans are very "enthusiastic" and the atmosphere exciting -
injury report--overall we are healthy although I suffered minor heart attacks when teague was slow getting up and then lil mac. I will re-eval the team on tuesday. full report to follow

Orange mound is one of the most exciting places to play football. The fans are loud and obnoxious. Awesome! I am so glad we are going there to play. Our team is up for it and wont be intimidated. You should really try to go if at all possible /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

no one we play likes those horns either. We like it that way /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Sounds like he may need to be seen at the newly established "Big Red Convenient Care", located in the Patriot training room. No appointment necessary

Ok, the injury report is delayed because I have been spending coutless hours trying to mend and patch a somewhat bruised HC team. Particularly our o-line. I am so glad French is back. I think Willliams can play--that is up to him and the coaches. That decision may be made as late as friday. Martese is not ready. Maybe next week?? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> TT will be back and JP suited up last week. We had another injury to our o-line at practice--but he is casted up and cleared to play friday (of note, he is joeys replacement). I actually quit today but Gaddis would not accept my resignation and told me that I can only be fired and quickly rehired by him. The training room is starting to look something like a MASH unit. Looking forward to another injury-free victory this Friday. I know Fairly is going to "bring it" after the last 3 years. I know our boys are up for the challenge--if we just can keep them from hurting each other at practice. Is there any other hs team in west tenn that has a surgeon on call 24/7, performing procedures in a training room, getting fired daily and verbally abused from the head coach, all for the "glory" and occasionally a free t-shirt? I love my job!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I was a LITTLE disappointed in the crowd Friday night--but any other program would be glad to have such a turnout. From the sidelines y'all were sounding pretty loud, especially in the first half. I have never been to a high school football game with such atmophere. I am proud of our fans. I dont think many coaches would complain about the turnout or noise level of last friday--in fact I think they would love to have it! I know Gaddis appreciates our fans and would not leave because of lack of crowd support. Yes, Friday night was a little on the weak side but I know Big Red Nation will rise to the occassion this week. I think considering the blowouts we have had, the enthusiasm has been pretty well maintained--although I dont get the leaving at half time deal. Tell everyone you know to come with their cowbells and their enthusiasm to Patriot stadium this week- guaranteed to be a good game and even if its not the post game show will be worth it. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Injury Report--Pending further notice/evaluations /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Henry County's first round opponent : Kingsbury
Patsdoc replied to hubjr's topic in Class 5A & Class 6A
Patsdoc is here--I am on double secret probation for being naughty (something about a pole and HC uniform). Anyway, no new injuries from last week. I will be happy to get Martese on the field by next week. We are really trying. TT is ready, though he now has a calcified hematoma in his forearm--Robbie had the same thing last year in his thigh--weird /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Anyway, my job always hangs in the balance. Like the team, I must take it one week at a time. Another injury free victory this week!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> -
Martese's injury has had me on probabtion. We are actively and aggressively rehabing his ankle. I think trainer mike almost had him in tears yesterday /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> TT will still be out this week but ready to go after that. JP will be back soon--I am not sure how he did with some running/cutting drills yesterday. Finch has an ankle sprain--he will be ready for playoffs. Considering we are going into the 10th week, we are healthy. We must stay that way through playoffs!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I have now had a two weeks to save up funds for pizza--hint, hint /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Lets go BIG RED! Lets have another injury free victory friday night!!! I expect to see our Benton county neighbors there to cheer us on since they are playing thursday

Ok--so I am totally drained reading this thread--blah,blah, blah. What about JNS? Yes, unfortunately Martese got hurt pretty bad yesterday--before practice even started. He has two torn ligaments in his ankle. All of our major injuries this year have been self-impossed. We are aggressively rehabing him but I think at least three weeks. My goal is to have him ready to play second round of playoffs if we make it that far--which I fully expect. We take it week to week and will make judgements on a daily basis. He did make sure to get back to the field house for pizza though. I made him eat it while his foot was in "the bucket" I was fired when he got hurt, rehired when no fracture, and now am temporarily laid off until further notice. This job stinks--so unstable Lol! TT's arm is pretty messed up too. We are going to get MRI but are rehabing him now. Thats the injury report for now--hopefully no more!! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

The Injury Report: Thankfully we came out of another game without major injury. TT has a pretty bad arm contussion--we are working on that one this weekend. Nothing else serious except the major hit the pizza budget is taking! /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" I think that goal line stand had dominos written all over it. I was even accused of calling a time out in the last seconds to help Munford set up for a field goal. Robbie was having a cow on the sidelines. I will be washing cars outside my office for donations next weekend to help defer costs!LOL! Was it you realgame who said I wouldn't have to worry about buying pizza this year because that would "never" happen? "Never" has happened 3 times already!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

LOL!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I wish I could do that--yell in color!!

Overall, we are very healthy at this point. We have had some bumps and bruises, but everyone who played last week is ok. Still nursing a fibula fracture, which I am hoping will be ready in 2 weeks, bad ankle sprain who will be ready in two weeks, both acls rehabing nicely--next year, femur fracture wants to play but dont think so. We have already returned 2 wrist fractures back to play and a number of sprains and strains! The medical team keeps pluggin' along. Lets hope for another injury free victory this week! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I will be there!! Rain or shine, win or lose. Whole game, every game (now including scrimages). POV-going through Union City--thats where I work on fridays and its an easy ride! I hope to see a huge HC crowd tomorrow. The team thrives on crowd support--do not let them down. They haven't let us down!
-
I knew I would be buying pizza and I glad to do it for such an awesome win /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> The whole team played great tonight and yes another running clock. No major injuries tonight--we stay strong and healthy for another week and another region opponent next friday. I am sorry for those who wanted a better game, but I like it just like this. Lets blow them out through regular season and hopefully through the playoffs. Its weird how you get used to huge leads- -I was feeling nervous when we were ONLY up by 21!!LOL! Thats 2 games now that earned pizza--Dixon County and Brighton! Great job guys, lets keep rollin'!

????? What ????

Seriously--I was just kidding. Gaddis fires and rehires me on a daily basis and sometimes the mere mention of injury throws him in to a tirade!! Loosen up!! You shouldn't hate drs-you may need one someday! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
