  1. OH MY GOD SOMEONE ALERT THE INTERNETS TENNESSEE HAS A DIVISION III?
  2. Jefferson and Darkwa are gonna make defensive coaches cry.
  3. BA doesnt seem to be playing like the team they are made up to be /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" /> /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />
  4. I forgot just how close these rivalry games can get. In good news, BA lost, and more D2-AA football sunday when MBA plays Moeller!
  5. So I heard Father Ryan BARELY won this game 23-20... really REALLY suprising.. It seems JP2 has a really good team OR Father Ryan played poorly. Im sure this was a good game, sad I missed it. I hope JP2 good luck for the rest of their season. Its good to see this rivalry close again. Father Ryan - it's all uphill from here.
  6. Where have you heard it before? Seriously.. where? Like, the Wing - T back in the Jemison days? OH LAWD. Also, GTFO of threads that arent relative to your team, geezer. .
  7. Good luck to MBA. Is this game being played at Moeller? Should be a good game! Ohio is a football powerhouse, but Tennessee is too! Show 'em who is boss!
  8. Yes, game is at Hillsboro (like 2006). Sadly not greers.
  9. This game wont even be close. JP2 will blow Ryan away. Little Tate is the greatest player in the country. JP2 38 FR 7
  10. I heard they are changing the band room at Ryan to a special room with a huge case for the Bishop's Cup. It will likely never go back to the high school in Hendorsonville. Also, LOL at it being close. cant beat greenbrier... lawl.
  11. I mean, srsly? lol? Father Ryan vs. Pope John Paul I apologize for making this thread. I remember when this game used to be competitive, then JP2's only player went to go play for one of the worse college football team last year. Thoughts? Or should I even bother? oh, my prediction is the first team.
  12. I agree with this. cbg said Ryan would be 5-5 last year. I think that is his favorite number for Father Ryan's football records. Oh, he also says it in every Father Ryan post there is.
  13. COME ON GUYS. You know when it comes to college its all about money and less about ACT and scores. The latter are easy to obtain, money is a bit difficult. If you got the money, go where ever the heck you want.
  14. I remember when Father Ryan scrimmaged Henry County, and won. After that, life went on for both teams and 15 year old boys stopped posting on CoachT in pursuit of conflict. I remember that day very well.
  15. Blah Blah everyone hates Ryan cause they are poor Blah Blah Ryan football stinks cause they focus on other things. We've heard this all before. I thought this thread was about the 2008 season and not the same recycled bull crap from other people (cbg COUGH COUGH) who say the same thing every year? This year's scheduele is the same as last year, as Ryan is on the patttern of playing the same scheduele every 2 years, with location of games being only things changed. Hillwod: Win Pope: Win BGA: Are you kidding? Win. How could Ryan lose to BGA, I am confused. Overton: Win McCallie: dont know, dont follow Chattanooga football much Knoxville: Win (home game for Irish) CPA: Win Ensworth: Win BA: Loss MBA: Loss As long as Ryan doesnt have players kicked off the team, like the mulloys, mid way through the season, they should do consistently well. Maybe they can stay healthy too. BA and MBA have tough schedueles from their start while Ryan rides a easy breeze. Is this good or bad? Well it goes both ways, MBA and BA might get better but they also are at risk of injuries, physically and mentally. Ryan's first Test will probably be McCallie. Its an away game but thats all I know. McCallie is a nice school and is pretty big. Mc definitely has the advantage. Why do people go to Ryan? For a Catholic education. Its a pretty good place to send your kid to school when you live in a state where half the people think the world is only 4000 years old and that dinosaurs are products of the devil. PLEASE. Fundamental Christianity really ruins the South's image, but its schools like Ryan, who accept and teach the theories of evolution, big bang, that make the school worth it. Its a good prep high school as my siblings have gone on to St. Louis University and University of Southern Cal. I, myself, am at Michigan. Yea yea, hate me, go Wolverines. Money is the BIGGEST contender in D2. Whoever has more looks best obviously. Seeing how Nashville probably has the top 3 richest schools in Tennessee: MBA< BA < and Ensworth, other private schools in Nashville, notably catholic schools, get overlooked and seen as public schools. Please. Father Ryan is up on the level of every other school in D2 in terms of academics and athletics. Football has recently not been FR's sport, but it quickly is becoming their main sport again. Not to mention Ryan remains a powerhouse in Wrestling and Soccer, and does well in Baseball and Basketball. So when fans who follow colors of red or orange get scared of what is reality, they ###### their pants and make up lies to cover their tails. If I met a kid going to high school and was thinking about Ryan, I would tell him he'd probably end up going to a great college (which, by the way, going to college is an incredible feat in the state of Tennessee) and the FR experience is the greatest experience there is, where students can embrace their spirituality and community they are part of and feel comfortable where they are. Ive ranted, sorry. Go Ryan, grats on making it to the playoffs again this year. 2 years ago was quarterfinals, last year was semi-finals, this year its the championship. Thats a heck of a lot of progression for a school like Ryan. im out.
  16. Grats to FR for keeping 1st in Tennessee in this tourney and taking the heat to Harrison! Good work all teams. Now we see FR is undoubtedly a better team then their previous losts shows.
  17. If you read what DS2001 says, he is right. Kevin Mix did not wrestle, as well as Zach Herman. There were also 2 other players who did not play, and JV players filled in instead. Some of the other wrestlers on Ryans lineup, according to the Chattanoogan article, I have never even heard of. Seeing as how the Father Ryan Invitational is coming up, I would not blame Simpson for keeping some players out, and instead resting and keeping their weight homeostasis. On another note, the coaches poll is what coaches think, so its obvious many coaches pay respects to Ryan. Being number 1 at the beginning of the season really does not mean anything, but I am pretty sure the coaches poll will be what it is at the end compared to what it was at the end.
  18. Can I bring my dog? It keeps peeing everywhere and attacking people and I know only 1 thing to do with it. JK! Good ol' community fun.
  19. Touche' doubt ur son started tho, doubt he will play in college /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  20. Heres the comment I made where I guess you said that I said Jordan was better than the entire MBA backfield?? I dont know where you got that.. Maybe you can take some advice from Mark Twain, as he said 'it is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid, then to open your mouth and prove it.' Theres was a post earlier as to where Jordan was able to go to school, and there were tons of schools. I am sure a kid with these posibbilities is also smart enough to make good grades. He also goes to Brentwood Academy, which is a great academic, private school. Have fun watching your kid play on the sideline for the next 2 years of his sad career!
