First off, i would like to thank aquaman for giving the dogs our great swimming skills. And i don't understand Lewis Co. When you win your braggin and when you lose your still on here talkin trash. Well some of the ignorant ones. For the rest of the ones sayin congrats and to win state i thank ya'll for being classy. But some people want to make excuses about the coaching and about the kids from east. They stayed here for themselves because they knew where the stronger program was and by the time east starts winning they would be gone. And we thank the coach for putting the sand down to try to make the field better. How can ya'll say he isn't any good when he wins every year but in the playoffs? When ya'll win your all yeah sharp is an awesome coach and when ya'll lose you dog him, but it isn't all the people. Most the players from lewis have good sportsmanship and are great athletes. Good luck to Lewis next year the dogs will bring home state for region 6 AA. GO BULLDOGS!

The lewis hickman game= it had rained that week. The field was soaked more towards the middle but that don't mean they did it. Maybe the field don't drain as well as other fields, maybe it's the type of grass, maybe cause the grass was tall, it don't matter. Hickman lost cause the offense couldn't move the ball. and for the idiot who thinks lewis pounded those touchdowns in, it took four tries from 7 to get in the endzone the first time. that's not pounding the ball. Good field position meant everything in that game. But this is for lewis and richland so people need to quit talking about hc and lc and save all the talk for next week when they play again because i know lewis won't lose to the richland raiders or as i like to call them the 1910 wanna look-a-like hoover bucs. That is about the worst field i've ever seen. It's a freakin pop warner field. lol And the high school had to be built in like 1900. Lewis wins big over richland

Now how are you gonna get on here and say Hickman will run the score up? You have no clue. For one thing, do you really think swenson is willing to risk his players more than he has to before the playoffs? No is the answer if you didn't already know. Hickman will go out, take care of business, and then put the jv in. Swenson won't run the score up. Now if they can't stop the jv then idk what to tell ya. All i've heard since week one is smack from east. Whether from players or parents smack was talked. But Hickman don't play like that, we play with respect and pride. Running the score up on a team that isn't gonna do anything, because everyone knows it will be a slaughter. Hopefully the game will be a clean one, doubt it though.

Hickman's starting defense has only gave up an average of around ten points a game. Now that's not the best D but it is still a tough one and not a top 5 D but at least a top 10

Okay this was a great game. I didn't wake up till after 12 today i was so wore out from the game last night. LC great game. All week people said this would be a game between HC offense and LC defense. I don't think they were on the field long enough to make it a game. LC defense shut down everything we threw at them. Now, people say HC defense wasn't any good. They proved everyone wrong last night. HC defense is the only reason LC didn't blow us away. That was the best defensive game HC has played all year. Everyone is now thinking, how is that when they gave up 21 points. The 21 points came off of a bad punt giving lewis the ball inside the 10. Hard For any team to stop a o-line that probably had close to 1300 pounds at least, in on the goaline O. The second TD drive started around the 25 or 30 coming off a fumble. Then the final touchdown came from an interception around the 30. Now these aren't excuses just to let dumbasses like gerry bertier( a sore fairview fan) know. Lewis is bigger and physical and can play football. I'm just saying Hc's D came to play. Other than the three TD's that came off of short field postion, they didn't give up anything. LC offense and D came to play. LC gave up the ball twice, one leading to a touchdown. LC capitalized on turnovers. HC didn't. And number 17 is a great runner. And 5 is the by far the only qb i've seen that can run the veer right. Great job to Lewis Co. But what makes me mad is the fact that some Lewis fans just can't accept a compliement. My dad tried to compliment LC's defense a staff person at the game and all he had to say was that "ya'll just haven't been hit in the mouth". Just accept a compliment. I respect every player from that team except 74. He tried cheap shottin me every play, and ended up on the ground a couple of times. I can't wait till you try that with someone bigger than you. And the refs were by far the worst i've every seen. Reminded me of a ref people in HC like to call Red who always tries screwing us out of every game from jr pro to middle school. And not an excuse but just curious, if TSSAA picks all the refs, why was the ref in the white hat always the main ref at the Lewis Co games, just curious. The refs were horrible and so was the ball marker. Between the refs and him, there was more confusion than i've ever seen at a game. But, good game to LC ya'll are a great team with a great coach. I hope to see ya''ll again in the playoffs. Oh and to whoever said that about num 5, i was on the field. How would you like being roughed on a punt then it not getting called? Or getting punched,kicked, elbows thrown. He didn't talk no trash. The ref got onto him once for sayin "Let's Go" when he was talking to his own team. Good luck to LC in the playoffs, i know you won't need any luck for your last two games

If i only have to ride a bus for thirty miles, i won't be all cramped up as long. And plus when you will have just as many fans on your side as they do, then it's just like home. When Hickman played Lawerence co., Hickman had more fans and and it made a difference. Hickman had motivation from their fans and motivated their fans. All you could hear on that field was HCHS. No i don't think it will matter. Esimated around 8,000 to 10,000 people at the game is what i've heard. Half of that will be from Hickman. Believe me, If your in Hickman Friday night, all you will find is the square dirties( the people who basicly live on the square and well the rest explains what they look like). Get to the game early, cause their will be no seats.

There is a pretty good drop off, but don't count out the ones that can play. I know and the sophmores now can play with strong competition they just have to step it up. I know they have talent it just hasn't been brought in the players. Remeber they still have a while before they have to completely take over.

I've seen film on ya'll. Your a good team. I'm not on here to talk trash about this game. This will be the best 2-A game all year. Anyone who think this is going to be a one sided game is full of bs. This has been a rivarly game for years and it's a even better one since we are both in the same region. I saw ya'll play Harpeth. Your offense made some huge plays, but they didn't come off of the talent from your backfield. It came from bad tackling. I'm not saying Lewis Co's backs are weak because they are good. Each team will bring their A game. And for all of the idiots from harpeth and fairview your still mad cause both of ya''lls teams stink. And everyone better believe that swenson will be prepared on offense and Coach Patterson will have his D ready to go to work. And for everyone else that has posted about Swenson's wing T not being effective then your wrong. Lewis Co runs a wing T too. Swenson has more offense than what everyone thinks. What happen when Hickman came to town and help waverly to minus yards before the JV came in and i know for a fact that most of the players out there when waverly scored were freshmen.. Huntingdon will win this one big time.

Yeah i look at stats each week. The difference is Hightower has ran all over everyone. He is a heck of a ballplayer. The bulldogs were smart enough not to kick it to him on kickoffs, knowing the guy has speed and power, they played strong defense keeping MC out of the end zone before the half with an int. at the goalline... TWICE. The win is more impressive than any of lewis co wins. The only reason MC is just now reaching the top 10 is because of their loss to Hickman Co everyone thought was the same. Well the players we have now i believe won three straight super bowls in jr pro football playing against many players who play for high schools now like dickson Co. The old Hickman Co football is back but with better coaches. So don't down the win against Marshall. I don't see anyone else in our division playing a team that good, do you? Another thing, your just upset cause Hickman stomped fairview and you almost lost to east. darn pretty pathetic

ok seems you think you know a lot about football. i don't really care about Lewis's schedule it has been weak. But I believe Marshall has only received one loss. From Hickman. They beat Lawerence a team that to them last year was an even sized game. Well most of the size left and Hickman is small, but strong and fast. We have beat Westview in the spring. We beat East Roberston Who has played with Goodpasture Jo Byrns Friendship CPA, DCA and when they played Goodpasture they got more offense yards that them and could have beat them if it wasn't for turnovers. Belive i read the Tennessean every weekend and know the stats. Say what you want about Hickman's schedule, offense, defense, and what else you got to say but when comes to crunch time we will see who prevails.

Yeah i believe i recall a scrimage in the spring when HC beat ya'll. And i'm pretty positve we have done nothing but get better. But once again no one believes in HC but people will soon

East Hickman will win this one.They are getting better and better. D fense will need to play good. Loretto is one of the worse teams in 2-A. East needs to win this one because this week is their last chance to win a game.

Hickman Co. defense has shut down every team when it comes to the run game. When people pass on us they do get more than the run but defense wins ballgames and championships. the offense cant score if they don't have the ball and time to score.. Hckman's defense is a hit you in the mouth one and plays with intensity. We only gave up 6 to marshall. We gave up 7 to fairview.. Our 1st team D gave up none on waverly. Our first team only gave up 14 against harpeth beacuse they can pass. We gave up 31 to Lawerence co a team with an awesome qb with great vision and who had good receivers. Our jv gave up the 7 points against loretto and our jv gave up the 6 against east roberston who scored plenty of points against the number 1 team in the state. East Roberston also had more yards in that game.. So I would say Hickman's Defense is pretty stout. But thanks for the motavation...

Well after this friday night region 6 will be figured out. Lewis county and Hickman County will battle it out... Should be a good game, but i think no matter what some people think Hickman still hasn't received the respect from everyone as they deserve. I don't think that Lewis has been trying their hardest in getting better, I'm not dissing Lewis Co. because they are a very good team and have already received respect they deserved. Though Lewis have not played any team to challenge them yet. Their coach did not pick a strong schedule. On the othe hand, coach Swenson took no easy roads. Starting off the season against a tough 3-A team in Marshall and a great job in getting his team ready. Soon after stomping Fairview,a team everyone thought was going to be second, Hickman Co blew passed their opponents from fairview till they played Lawrence Co. a 4-A team that was big and physical but Hickman wanted it more and played more physical pulling out a fourth quarter win. They then stomped Loretto. Last night they played East Robertson, who seemed a bad team because of their record but had lost to teams like Goodpasture, DCA, Jo Byrns, and Friendship Christian, all good teams. Hickman once again proved themselves in a one sided victory.1.Hickman Co. Hickman or Lewis will have a chance to win the region, but Hickman will want it more to prove to everyone that they are a threat. 2. Lewis Co. A strong team and will be a threat in the playoffs. 3.Richland a surprising team. 4. Harpeth a team that has struggled this year. 5. Fairview another team that has struggled. And this friday East Hickman plays Loretto. Both teams are winless. This week someones 0 has to go. 6. East Hickman as much as i hate to see them not finish last they are better than loretto. East has improved, not much, but they have. and last will be Loretto who has been pathetic all season.

Yeah i agree with this guy...I doubt you can keep hickman to 14 pionts.. And i agree with this person almost 100 percent besides thats it is more like almost 400 rushing yards a game.. This game will come down to who wants it more and who is willing to fight the most. I don't know about lewis county, but the bulldogs have all the heart it takes to go where they want to go...
