way to go guys. You made a believer out of me and a lot of other people as well. Keep it up and don't let oakland get in the way, because i think that we have had enough of that over time. Win the region and keep it going... I'd trade my graduation for a shot at the state tournament, and i know you seniors would to. Play them all like they are you're last.. b/c eventually it will be. I was just wondering who some of the top pitchers are in the state in AAA baseball. THe reason i say AAA is because i don't want to know about some kid throwing 70 -75 mph batting practice to the plate. Who is the dirtiest, hardest throwing, intimidating guy out there? I know that griffin from tullahoma and gray from columbia are two good ones for thie category. WHo all do you think?

last time that i heard grant had 6 or 7 from columbia. Not to mention the bomb he hit over the greenhouse at columbia for those of you who know how far that is. I'd say it is a 400 ft shot or somewhere near that. Ths kid can flat out pound the ball.

I'd say one of the hardest working seniors this year is courtney english of columbia. he just got done with basketball and now he is on the diamond. I played with him for 3 years and i know he worked hard those three years. He was constantly in the cage or in the outfield taking fly balls. All around good player and should be a good grab for some team in his future years.

What's is the deal boys? I have been keeping up with the records and stuff but i haven't really heard what the problem is or what is going wrong. I hope it is nothing big and that it is just mistakes, b/c it happens and you will overcome them all. Everyone step up and play and you all will be fine. THrough my 4 years in 8aaa ball i would have to say that it is some stiff competition in this one. I give it to pickle and hargrove(1) for their hard work, b/c i know how they both are. (2)King is a great coach and so is (3)shelbville's too. Other than that.. i dont' think it matters.

I think that everyone is completely freaking nuts if you think that columbia isn't the best team in the area. Why haven't they won the state... there are a couple of teams that are called oakland and riverdale that have put them out of the regional finals 3 times in the last four years. WHO do ca and mp play for those tournaments.. Might as well be no one because they do not have people to go to div 1 colleges or get drafted. SO enough of that. AS far a pickle goes. I played for him for 4 years and let me tell you that scared is the last thing that he is. He has more passion for the game that anyone that i know or have ever seen coach baseball. The whole recruiting players thing.. THat is crap too. I played with both of the guys you are talking about and they came to columbia to have a chance and get looked at. They played summer ball with us and liked the atmosphere and pickle so they came to where they thought they would have a chance in baseball in the future. SO before anyone else goes off calling people idiots.... take a look at yourself in the mirror first!
