  1. I would bet that although divided between more schools, the population by which to choose is still larger in the Boro schools...dont know that for sure, but I believer their schools are larger.......??
  2. I really do not know!! Have so wondered the same for several years now.........no one agrees all the time with coaching decisions, but for the most part in the district, I do not think that is it........there are many talented coaches in all areas of the state but why that district doesnt compete the same on a regular basis I do not know....... I do know that Tullahoma has had many district titles over the years, proceeded most years to regionals, and has been to the state several times..........most years committment is there and good leadership too... ????????????
  3. I know for a fact that Tullahoma and Shelbyville have had most of their starting players being club players that played club for many years, traveling to Murfreesboro, Nashville, Brentwood, Harpeth, etc. Last years teams in both communities, for example, the vast majority had played club/select for many years and with quality teams. So, it isnt just the select, although I know it helps tremendously......... so, that particular theory at this particular time I dont believe holds complete water......as stated, it definately makes a difference but parents in both of those communities spend countless hours and dollars traveling to Nashville two or three times a week for practice, tournaments all over the area, for many years, and then some.......... so????.......not sure the biggest factor for the past few years is club??????????? Other factors must make difference... I have wondered the same...........
  4. dont even see why anyone would get mad either or care.........I have always been a proponent for not saying negative things about these kids on this venue because that is exactly what they are and they often read CoachT and I would never want to hurt a childs feelings.............let me just say a team does not need a player that doesnt want to be there and very few players are as expendable as they like to think they are............when one leaves there is always another to take their place......again, most of the time, unless very exceptional.........and often when one takes their place, they are even more valuable than the one that left.......... so, no biggy as far as I can see and Shelbyville have their own players that bring to their team so no biggy to them either , as far as I can see .............
  5. why would Buchanan going from Tullahoma to Shelbyville make anyone nervous?
  6. Who won the Tullahoma/Lincoln Co game and when does Tullahoma play again and where...assuming they won??????????
  7. p.s. sorry, I was replying to DelTavian(not sure I quoted that name correctly), not CoachT....that posting got in before mine so I am not a fan of MrNoitall...I must say, he did tone it down some from when he first started. I think it is because he was most offensive and called on it a few times... knowledgeable..yes............. tacky.......yes........... uncalled for statements ..........absolutely!!!
  8. I agree...who cares about the identification of such an arrogant adult. I have said this before...if he wants to predict and debate, that is fine. However, he trys to be funny and cute and to me it most often comes across as hurtful to the young girls and to communities. We all love our towns, regardless of what others feel. Most communities have great people in them and it just takes a few, like MrNoitall, to make you want to crawl under a rock from embarrassment......so if he is a coach I hope he rethinks some of his ways...and if he is a teacher I hope he takes a grammer refresher course..... so, on to the sport ................good luck to all the remaining girls..........and to all athletes, good health.
  9. wow...I absolutely have no dog in this fight and do not even live nearby....HOWEVER, I have to comment....We are grown people with presumably children old enough to read this.....How childish can you get???? The athletes read these posts. The website is designed to have healthy conversations and feedback from other interested parents, coaches, refs, etc. regarding your sport of choice. Not to bash young people that have little to no control over the fairness, or not, of choosing awards teams... Never, but never, is it acceptable to bash teenage athletes for all to read....They read this stuff, even when they shouldnt...It is hurtful, degrading and absolutely uncalled for....What in the world are we teaching our youth???? Can this young lady control she was voted MVP? So, she and loved ones read what they think will be interaction regarding their loved sport, just to see GROWN people bash them...unbelievable.... Grow up....these are children you post and bash on here...It is bad enough to yell at games to diminish these young peoples hard work and accomplishments, but you put it in black and white for them to read... Your children, by watching your disgusting example, will not benefit from this...in fact, their children will probably be as bad of sports as you are.. what a shame....what a shame....... How would you feel if your child were treated in this manner...??? Please do not bash young ladies on here......Teach your children well
  10. Without going into specifics, obviously, what kind of drama causes these not playing well problems? Is it because girls not getting along, a boyfriend, jealousy??? what kind of drama would cause this with the team??
  11. sounds as if you are more offended that his bias is Tullahoma rather than just the fact he is actually biased...
  12. you missed the point...has little to do with grammer..that is just something to work on while you are posting the same error over and over.... most to do with tacky, and uncalled for, remarks when making your point. You can make it without making fun of others, their towns and boasting about your team of choice to the point of obnoxiousness...it makes other teams and communities resent the winning team even more, because some feel everyone is as arrogant as noitall..anyway,............. and to piddlepaddle...you read because you are truly interested in the kids and how they are doing...should not have to simply not read a post on the page, to avoid tacky remarks from grown people ... sense of humor should not be confused with trying to be cute ....... i am finished trying to make my point for adults to act like adults on here......just hate for the kids to see some of the remarks.....kids learn by our example and some on here perpetuate the unkind rivalry that exists between communities. good luck to all the athletes in each community....
  13. you are not from Tullahoma....thank goodness! if you are not trying to hurt anyone, then re-read some of your smart-aleck comments and refrain from making them...again, you can state an opinion, and that is exactly what CoachT is all about, but there is no need to be such a smarty pants and degrading to any community or member on this message board....the team you feel that is the losing team, get it by now....the one you feel will win, get it by now.. as with every message I have ever posted, I will remind you....the girls read this! Show them how adults interact, even when they may disagree....Please
  14. Please read my comment in two other locations, apologizing for Noitall...do not know if you are right in your theory or not, but............ However, there is no reason to say on the board meant to discuss athletics, that you "hate" an entire community. We all have feelings, about a few, in every single community, but to "hate" entire towns is hurtful to the kids that read this....and hurtful to those that try to be upstanding and demonstrate good sportsmanship...thank you.
