  1. I can't say much for WHH but C'Ville has been consistantly getting worse as the 2nd half of the season went on so that's not suprising
  2. You mean to tell me that in a 2 point (50-48) game, WC played its JV? Bc thats the only way PC couldve only put up 2 scores on your starters. Or did Rice throw a bunch of picks? And what was it about MtP that was so hard to stop for WC? Did thy throw a lot of different looks at you, or did WC just not show up?
  3. I think youre mentally incapable of understanding what i said. I never said it was a TSSAA requirement for an upset, but if your the "SEC of 1A" there is gonna be a big upet somewhere along the course of the season, which you havent had. Do you need a picture? Bc i can draw one if you'd like.
  4. Obviously you cant read that i said "if youre the SEC of 1A" like some people have been claiming. Lets try to pay attention.
  5. And they were supposed to beat those teams, am i right? My point is that if you are gonna be the SEC of 1A, you need to take into account that you may be tested by a team that you dont expect. And it doesnt seem that your district has had its "upset" loss yet. Uh oh...
  6. You guys ar awfully cocky. You may be the "SEC of 1A" or whatever you think you are but remember, LA Laffeyette beat Bama a couple years ago, Jacksonville St. beat Ole Miss, and Maine beat Mississippi St. Just a few fun facts fo ya.
  7. No one said it was right. But thats the spread, statistically. However, i dont see this game being as bad as you WC folks are seeing it. But thats why they play and dont base it off stats!
  8. Nothing has been said about the quarterbacks or running backs. We were talking about receviers but thanks for the input. I have no doubt that Rice is one of the best QB's in the state and the NC defense will have to focus on ways to slow him down. NC is averaging 32.5 ppg to WC 38.0 ppg. NC is giving up 15.2 ppg to WC 17.7 ppg. Im stealing this method from Sagrin, the college football predicter, but with 3 points givin to WC for home field adv., WC should be a 6 point favorite. Not as bad as you thought huh?
  9. You also have tto remember that WC runs a passing attck offense. Knobloch has those numbers in a pro style offense. I haven't seen anything but numbers on rice but I would have to say that with NC being run first most of the time, knoblochs numbers are a little more impressive. But this is all a little off subject, that's my fault. Back to the game itself.

  11. Its hard for this to be a valid point when you lost this game, no matter how close it was..... He may have had a heck of a game but at the end of the day, you still lost. Both teams will have to play 11 men strong at a time and while I do agree that WC is the better team, NC will definately pose a few problems for the WC D, especially since a few people have already said that they are not strong on D. NC's pass defense isn't bad but they will have to play a great game to pull this one out. As for Rice vs. Knobloch, Knobloch is by far the best at what he does. I have no doubt that Rice is good, but Knobloch is clearly the best at doing what he does. Even with CA playing man on him with their playmaker, and 1-2 guys over the top, he still made big plays for NC. This should be an interesting one to watch!
  12. I think youll be pretty suprised at how this one plays out. You can over look NC all you want and i hope you all do bc when you do and NC comes and hits you in the mouth, ill be laughing on the other side of the field. Just sayin. I wouldnt count your cickens before they hatch.
  13. I talked to one of the CA coaches about next weeks matchup and while he did say that WC was pretty legit, he also said that they are very beatable. He told me that a key will be getting at least some pressre on the WC quarterback. He has weapons at the recevier position and is very good at usig them. NC's secondary is going to have to come to play and the D line is going to have to do their part to put some pressure on the QB. i wont make any kind of prediction until i see more about WC but hopefully NC got their "gimme" gameout of the way bc both teams tried to give up the game tonight. I believe Brothers will have the NC boys read to come out and play, but its like you said, you never know until you strap it up and kick it off. Anything can happen once you get in the playoffs!
  14. The game wasn't pretty. CA had 4 turnovers to NC's none. NC was pentalized pretty good and had a kid ejected for retaliating when his helmet got ripped off witch I believe should be appealled. Neither team played a good game and it turned out that it was the team with the least turnovers that moved on. Hopefully that was NC's game to have their mistakes bc they are gonna have to put it all together to beat a good WC team next week. But it should be one to watch. Congrats to CA on a great season.
  15. 26 14 NC with 1:29 and nc with the ball. The game is over
  16. I saw the huntland game and it appeared to me that CA wasn't really that good, but huntland was that bad. They were not very impressive, even against a seemingly bad team. The scoreboard looked a lot worse than the game really was at half. Huntland had i think 3, maybe 4 turnovers at half.
  17. I have personally seen CA play and it wasnt anything impressive, although it was toward the beginning of the season, but if they can talk about week 3 for NC, its open for CA as well. They run a Wing-T offense that doesnt have much ability to pass, and from what i saw, no one that can match up very well against NC's size and speed. Maybe their tailback as far as speed goes. I dont predict a blow out but i will say NC by at least 14. If they stuff the run and make CA pass (which i can guarantee they do not want to do), it will be a long long night for CA. However if NC allows them to run the ball, we could have us a game on our hands. Should be interesting to watch!!
  18. Im a NC guy and i honestly believe this will be a game to watch. Im not gonna predict a winner but i will say that JB isnt gonna blow NC out by 40 like some seem to think. This is a good team, whether they are JB good or not, i guess we'll find out. I have no doubt that it will take their best game to pull off the upset but it can be done. I'll say if NC wins, they squeek by by 6 or 7. if JB wins, I'll say by 14 or 17. Starters for both teams will play all game. This will be a great one to watch so bring your comfy shoes bc youre gonna be up on your feet a lot. Best of luck to both teams. See ya under the lights!
  19. From what ive heard, NC didnt play very well, it was WHH homecoming with a bit of home cooking as far as the refs go. 39-28 was the final. It appears that NC is pretty legit. The Weiss kid ran for 4 touchdowns including a kickoff return. The jv for NC was in the game in the 4th quarter if that says anything.
  20. I think everyone is underestimating the Eagles. They held a Zion team that averaged 48 points per game to 10. if anyone can give score updated, please do.
