  1. REGION 25A IS BY FAR THE TOUGHEST IN THE STATE. FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE THE BEST RUNNING BACKS ( BRIAN MARSHALL, ANDRE STRERLING, JARED STEHENS) AND LEGENDARY COACHES LIKE BENNY MONROE AND TOM WEATHERS. ID LOVE FOR YOU TO NAME TWO BETTER COACHES THAN THOSE TWO IN THE SAME REGION. TO GIVE YOU AND EXAMPLE OF OUR LEVEL OF PLAY IF MCMINN LOSES TO WILLIAM BLOUNT THEY COULD FINISH THE SEASON AT 7-3 AND NOT EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. NOW NAME ANOTHER REGION EVEN HALF THAT TOUGH!!!!!
  2. and again i say this will not be a rout but, a VERY hard fought game. However, in the second half andre sterling will show why he is the best back in 5a this year and will take control of the game. if you dont believe me just ask william blount fans. farragut 31 ( sterling with 250+) ooltewah 21 GO TRIBE !!!! BEAT WILLIAM BLOUNT!!!
  3. to be honest in my experience from playing a coach monroe team the past three years its not neccessarily that they are better but more aware of gametime decisions
  4. rhea countys running game will destroy red bank with sharps elusive running attack
  5. well to me steven stansell is the deciding factor in a close game that will come down to who makes the least mistakes on a rainy night. the defense lead by #31,#22,and #32 will give the govs fits. just ask farragut!!! the offense lead by senior qb #8 and senior wr #31 will at least put up 24pts. mcminn 24 billy blount 21
  6. all i can say is having seen both teams play i can predict that unless the owls can tackle sterling it will be a long bus ride for coach monroe. ooltewah 14 (on a overated farragut defense) farragut 35 ( on a huge night from sterling. maybe even 250+)
  7. yea my homeboy #8(devon johnson) is being recruited by rutgers, michigan state, mtsu, tsu, illinois, and wisconsin to name a few. if he can get an 18 on the act his list could grow to inlclude even more.
  8. all i can say is that from playing against andre last year and watching him this year there is no way any freshman in this country is better than him. in my opinion he is the best runnin back in east tn since gerald riggs. the only factor that limits this kid from being an all american is his speed. he is not nearly fast enough to become a dominant factor at a major d-1 college but he could easily star in a system like utc or ut-martin. unless this sensabaugh kid can run through, over, and around defenses single handedly like ive seen andre do then this post is ludicrous. by the way is played against him since my freshman year at mcminn co.
  9. ill tell you exactly why this is a terrible squeaker. over the past two seasons we have been 8-1 at home. there will be a huge crowd at the game and as a former starter (in the 2005 and 2006) and close friend to all of those guys i know how hard mcminn will play at home. it will be a close game and it will come down to somebody else besides #8(Devon Johnson) makin plays because ive seen the billy blount vs. oak ridge film and they comletely dominated a probable all state runnin back in Jared stephens. if we can keep the game close and limit turnovers we can beat a very powerfull bill blount team but if the coach plays to not lose rather than playin to win it colud get ugly VERY QUICKLY. Id say Mcminn 24 William Blount 21 in a tight one!!!!
