realgame, that's exactly what I am not selfish. I love winning. I am just asking a question, not being negative, I am just taking up for those ones on the side line. Not complaining just having freedom of speech just like you. Go big red. Just asking. Don't take everything so personal as if I'm talking bad about the players. They have done nothing wrong and I never implied that they did. Once again just taking up for those with less talent. you must have never been one of those that stood on the side line game after game.

For your information, i have no son that plays. I am a big red fan. I am just saying that when the score is 46-6 why not let the third string or more play? Does it hurt? I do understand that some players need experience for next year. With this winning team that henry county has there will be plenty of these chances for the second string to get experience and playing time. I just think that some of these less talented players play all their high school career, not to be just hitting dummies in practice, but to just maybe get to play in one or two games before they graduate. I am not bashing the coaches, becuase they are by far the best that's been at henry county for years. And taking a knee is a good thing. It shows respect. It shows that even though we are winning we are still concerned with that kid getting up and walking off the field on their own free will. Prophet, winning is winning, and when it's by that big of margin, try to get most of the players in for some of them this will be there last chance. Just because they have less talent does not mean they have less heart.

As long as you win who cares about the kids. Just like seeing kenwood take a knee when our player got hurt and our boys couldn't. It's all about winning, not about the kids.

Can someone explain to me why that when the score is 46-6 and every senior on the football team does not get to play. I understand that winning is important, but you know I noticed two things in this game tonight. 1. that we had a player hurt and kenwood players took a knee when our own players did not. 2. the score was 46-6 and there were players on the side line that did not get to play. Have we gotten to the point were winning is more important than the kids, because it sure felt like it tonight. Don't get me wrong. I love to win as much as the next guy and lord knows I love Big Red Football, but why not let those that can't start the game or score a touchdown, play two - three plays a game. It looked sad as some 30 or more players stood on the side line as younger players were aloud to go in the game. Don't they get to play in the freshman games? Keep winning your games as the kids stand on the side line, who I know practice as much as the starters, stand there waiting to go in as they never do, because winning is far more important than letting these kids play. The BIG RED looks as if they could easily walk away with another winning season and regional title. The talent they've got replaces the talent they lost, they just need to step it up in some key positions. DB and WR are two slots that needs special attention. DB have some what been a thorn in our side and I was hoping that this year was the one we would pull that thorn out. According to the scrimmage with Milan, it seems as if it's still there. Any idea of what we need to do to improve there? are we working on other areas and lacking in this one? Does the DB coach need help? Go BIG RED! johnwayne out

IF YOU HAVE PLAYED BOTH THEN YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND. WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS THAT PLAY BASKETBALL, SHOULD THEY NOT PLAY FOOTBALL OR BASEBALL. MOST ATHLETIC PEOPLE PLAY MULTIPLE SPORTS AND IT IS NOT UNTIL THEIR SENIOR YEAR OR AFTER THAT THEY DECIDE WHAT SPORT THEY ARE GOING TO PLAY. You know it seems to me that baseball is a spring sport and football is a fall sport. I know how important spring training is, but I do know that football is a couple of weeks were as baseball is for 8 to 10 weeks. Playing baseball for 8 to 10 weeks will keep JAY in shape for the fall as well. He did have alot of time playing at the qb postion, so he will be ready to play that postion in the fall.
