  1. Who are the young ladies playing in this years East vs. West All Star Game?
  2. Please know what you're talking about if you are going to post such non sense. This post makes zero sense, Morgan and Allison are great people and students they have not been in trouble. If you're going to say that, then answer me this: If they were in this so called trouble why in the world would they have been starting for this particular game? No answer huh? Well thats because you don't know. So don't label the two seniors as being in trouble beacuse they were not. It was a coaching decision nothing more nothing less so lets all just leave it at that. I'm by no means saying I agree with the decision, but nonetheless I can't change it. Oh and by the way, let's not leave any more sophomoric, barbaric and immature post lacking evidentiary support (saying they were in trouble was way off the mark). Thank You.
  3. Siegel's goal will be to come in 3rd for all obvious reasons, but there is another reason. Lawrence County will be their match up in regions first round, there is still a bad taste in their mouths from last year so I believe Siegel will play hard for third and undoubtedly get it. Just for the purpose of defeating Lawrence Co in the manner Lawrence Co defeated them last year.
  4. Siegel has rid itself of the flu. some players have gotten the flu shot and others have takin their chances but the starters are in good health and should be performing at the optimal level tonight. I can't wait it'll be a good good match.
  5. I was sitting in the stands with my mom and we watched in anticipation, for we knew it was coming. Morgan picked up the ball and did a half spin move and hit it off the glass, BAM there it was. I was too excited for words. I could only clap and stand up for my friend. I'm proud of you Morgan...the third inductee, you're following in the footsteps of great players, Tikedra Jones and Carrie Parrott congrats Morgan...
  6. the most difficult games will be Riverdale vs. Blackman and Lebanon vs. White County, the other two are practically no brainers to be honest.
  7. It is very funny how we all said one or the other. It is also very funny how we all discounted the option of them being Co-MVP's. Well thats what Faulkner and Helton are Co-MVP's they are both talented and the Coach's voting today proved it. Co-MVP's it is.
  8. its very funny how every post seems to be discounting Morgan Faulkner for MVP. Helton is good I'll give you that, but Faulkner did for her team what Helton didn't have to. Helton didn't have to step up and play a role in the middle of a game, just so her team could win. Faulkner was not counting on Allison Wright getting hurt, but she helped her team win or tried really hard to do so. So once again I'll say, Faulkner for MVP and if you think about all she contributes to her team you'd say so too. Oh and as a side note, I'll say this: Siegel has yet to win a game where Faulkner scored 4 points, but Cookeville has won when Helton failed to show up, so who's really most valuable?
  9. PHargis, I could not agree with you more...it has marveled me how they played since last nights game...I just cant stop thinking about knowing how the girls played strong hard and they steadily encouraged their selves and teammates its an incredible feeling that I have and I know you had. I know because I saw you there in the stands smiling and cheering and clapping as the Siegel fans cheered our girls on to Victory. I am excited about Thursday...
  10. I have never seen Siegel High School girls beat Riverdale at Riverdale...that was THE VERY BEST I'VE SEEN the girls play together period...Morgan Faulkner, Allison Wright, and Clair Waggoner played better together than anyone would have thought...Riverdale stood no chance as Wright and her Sister Bethany came in scoring from the perimeter and Faulkner and Waggoner became an offensive threat from the post. Also, Faulkner's fourth quarter points outscored every single player on the court. She rounded out the quarter with 2 three and other field shots. The Wright Sisters combined for 5 three pointers. Shanice Cason added one spectacular one of her own. One word to sum up last nights game? Purely amazing. Go my lady stars keep playing and stay together on the court as a team...
  11. My Pick Goes As Follows: MVP: Morgan Faulkner - Siegel 1. Erin Helton - Cookeville 2. Brittany Cash - White County 3. Icelyn Ellie - Lebanon 4. Shellina Burguess - Riverdale 5. Morgane Swoape - Riverdale 6. Shanice Cason - Siegel 7. Heather Roberts - White County 8. Shelby Campbell - Blackman 9. Blake Nowlin - Blackman 10. Clark Davis - Riverdale
  12. I WOULD not count Siegel out for the region. Siegel has a very skilled three point shooting and basketball savvy guard in Faulkner...a dynamite ball handler and shooter in Wright...I believe that our region will be as unpredictable as our district has been. We will see Siegel emerge as the team begins to get healthy and learn to play together. DO NOT COUNT THEM OUT!!!
  13. PHargis...District 8 combined with District 7 makes up our region 4AAA...not 5...
  14. My prediction for tomorrow is: Cookeville loses by 1 at the buzzer. Lebanon kills Blackman. White County drills Warren Co, and Riverdale flies by Oakland.
  15. who is leading in the district right now in points? I meant Lincoln Co., but it's just the luck of the draw with the central sites. I dont like either. Hopefully we'll see a change in a year or two.
