  1. .Anyone know if the CLEVELAND keeper is okay from her injury last week? Hope she is doing okay.. D
  2. OCTOBER 8 KNOX CATHOLIC v OAK RIDGE BEARDEN v McMINN COUNTY....Let's see what you got AAA... OCTOBER 10 CLEVELAND v GRACE... Assuming all of the Grace talk is for real, I have seen Cleveland play (v ND) and if Grace has a defense, this should not be an problem for them NOTRE DAME v BEARDEN ...ND's Defense should hold up...but can they score? Maybe a tie tonight.... D OUT Just to keep Booger happy..... NOTRE DAME v SCIENCE HILL...GO IRISH! EAST HAMILTON v RED BANK NORTH (SM)... (fyi- I will never pick SM)
  3. score ??? (Nevermind, found it 6-1 CCS)
  4. Booger- I didn't consider any Science Hill matches (CCS and ND) since they(SH) really have a so-so schedule and are 4-9-1 with that record (although they have taken on some big players) and has anyone even mentioned them before on these boards? ....and Signal Mt is not on my radar any more..EH should handle them with ease....
  5. Some that I found for this week, please feel free to add any others to the list... OCTOBER 8 KNOX CATHOLIC v OAK RIDGE BEARDEN v McMINN COUNTY OCTOBER 10 CLEVELAND v GRACE NOTRE DAME v BEARDEN
  6. Interesting..I told Mrs. Booger to get rid of all my pre-chest waxing photos...she must have kept this one for sentimental reasons...
  7. I am more Bleacher Eye Candy than I am a scout (Just ask Booger and ChatCannon's Wives).....Notre Dame's Back Line is very good...The #6 and #8 girls are very good, but got frustrated in the midfield and got tied up with center mid on many occasions ...#8 could move the ball laterally with ease (she is good), but any forward motion was smothered....there were less than a handful of true attacks on goal...I only recall maybe 2 true stops our keeper was challenged with and they were late in the game....Even though 2 goals were put on the backup keeper..I would say that they were both great shots and would have gone passed their starter as well...one was a fantastic cross and then volleyed from about hip height into the goal...beautiful soccer...
  8. Notre Dame 3 Cleveland 0 Notre Dame came out strong the first 10 minutes, and Cleveland looked flat but finally picked up play mid first half...1-0 at half Notre Dame.....game got really rolling second half with both teams really scrapping for the ball, couple of cards went a flying for both teams...unfortunately, a collision of a ND player and Cleveland's keeper resulted in the keeper being injured (suspect knee, but not sure..hope she is okay, but she was on the field a while before they went to the sideline) ....Notre Dame scored 2 more goals before the final whistle blew... Booger can probably provide more game details... D
  9. Booger- I will join you in the 50% club....Tried to show some love for my friends at Soddy. Tried to smooth over my PUBS tension with DeKalb.....Need to leave my heart at the gate next time... Let's hope both Irish teams and the Eagles can get me in the 100% club for tonight... OCTOBER 3 BEARDEN V KNOX CATHOLIC NOTRE DAME V CLEVELAND (Senior night should be quite short with only one Senior for ND) MCMINN CENTRAL V GRACE
  10. My PICKS: OCTOBER 1 CCS V BAYLOR CLEVELAND V SODDY DAISY SMITH COUNTY V DEKALB (Take care of SC Dekalb...) ...Trying to get on DeKalbCoach's good side... MCMINN COUNTY V MCMINN CENTRAL OCTOBER 3 BEARDEN V KNOX CATHOLIC NOTRE DAME V CLEVELAND MCMINN CENTRAL V GRACE
  11. 'Cause they don't play until October 12.. D

    Pick'em

GPS 3 NOTRE DAME 0 Hope you were able to finally see Boogerette play this season...Probably not the best game to come back into town for, but it certainly doesn't matter until the tournament begins! Good experience.... D
  19. Sooooo tempted to mention the Smith County coach influence here, but I will refrain...
  20. DeKalb...You have become quite bitter for some reason...Is it wrong to be proud of your school? Why not brag? We are proud of the players....They work hard....But if someone new to the board comes out flaming the private schools and their priviledged players and saying that things were "handed to ya'll" , I take issue with that and will defend my daughter and her school and the hard work they have done to get where they are... Now, I certainly will not speak for all private schools, but I have mentioned this before...Notre Dame, although not 100% Catholic students, is a large percentage Catholic, that being said, I am of course joking when I comment about God creating better soccer players....Notre Dame (the ONLY Catholic high school in Chattanooga) draws players from all over the city obviously,, but as I said, a majority are Catholic, so the player pool for soccer is very limited (much like a public school has a limited pool of players from the particular school's local zone)....it is their hard work and dedication as a group that creates a great team....again, schools like Baylor, etc. that draw from all areas, all religions, etc. certainly can be targeted for criticism, but I believe that does not hold true for Notre Dame... Pick'em

AAA- Very nice in the picks! Booger- Agree with the first two picks (Grace and McMinn) but I have to flip the 'reality visor' down over the green tinted glasses for today and say GPS will take care of our Irish easily tonight..GPS has a strong senior group of girls, I believe most have been starters for a while so I have seen them play...Irish will struggle to put any points on the board...sorry D
