I have said it before, you are correct....God created Catholics to be better soccer players...we are truly blessed.... D

Notre Dame 3 Signal Mt. 0 Whew- after the top three teams have played, tonight decided the district seeding, so luckily a coin toss was not needed to decide the district places. ( CCS had tied both ND and SM).., Probably the least physical and talented team Signal has had in years ( very young)..luckily Notre Dame's defense held off any real offense from SM and the inexperienced freshman keeper (not sure she has even played keeper before) was never challenged. ND's keeper ( red carded last week) will return for the GPS game on Thursday where she will definitely be needed, so I hear... D

I lost count of the foul totals at the ND v CCS game...I have watched ND soccer for over 8 years now and as most veterans of Chattanooga soccer will attest to, ND ALWAYS plays a physical game, and some refs are more willing to pull out their cards than others...it is part of the game to be physical...but some of the cards were in my opinion questionable, but may have also been accumulation of things and the ref was trying to manage the game...We will certainly see a big game next week...as my graduated daughter always said her 4 years..."I don't care if we lose every other game, I just want to always beat Signal" ...there is no love between these two teams...

If Booger's game comments from the ND v Soddy game are true, then ND will be feeling the loss of their great keeper due to a red card at that game when they play for the #1 seed in their district game on Tuesday versus Signal...Backline will step up hopefully and keep the backup keeper bored.... D

Looks like I will be making the trek up the mountain to see the Notre Dame v Signal Mountain game on Tuesday....(Man, I hate that drive...) D

NOTRE DAME 0 CCS 0 First half was mosty Notre Dame, second half was definitely more CCS...saw more subbing by ND coach in this one game than I think I saw all last season...really only one true threatening shot that I remember , and that was by CCS...with an absolutely perfectly timed tip by ND's keeper to save the possible goal... D

There were a few other 13-0/13-1 ...unfortunately, not >15 range...

We are the intimidating type..obviously on the boards and on the sports fields...shame... Can't blame a guy for trying to get a conversation started....the boards are a little...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz D

Okay, I have been a little hard on SC in the past and received criticism for it since I am a mean ol' Private School guy....But, SC still does not put Notre Dame on their schedule (District game) again this season, (I guess it is possible we don't want to play them either?)..but noticed today that Sequatchie County's schedule has them playing Tyner Academy twice (which they beat 6-0 and 8-0) and White County twice (beat them 4-2 last night and they play again October 8th)....so why do they play two teams twice....and play only one of the district teams (Signal Mt)....but not try and play CCS or Notre Dame.....Seems they have the game dates available? Just can't figure the coaching philosophy of not taking on other teams... Fire away at me... D

0-0 tie today BIG G - wussup with that? D Battle of God's teams tomorrow, when the ND Irish take on Knox Catholic...Go (Notre Dame) Irish!!!

May have to get a report from someone other than me this weekend..too busy to travel to K -ville and have the little Champs in from U of Alabama and U of Tennessee home for the weekend... D
