Great post! Way to go Falconstatsman! Some people have no respect for the game, coaches, players & fans.

Not so fast! Blackman may win and I think they could possibly be the best team in the Boro along with Oakland, but Coach Thompson and the Falcons should never be taken lightly!

Nobody is running down the coaches from what I have read. Coach Johnson is the best thing to happen to WC Football in a long time! I believe the spread can be implemented over time too and love the scheme. As far as my posts, I just give my opinion and the facts as far as past performances and performances in the previous game. All of us know what this team is capable of, Freshmen through Seniors!

Steg & Thrower combined for over 1,000 yards passing last year as QB's, and both ran for alot too! Also Northcutt had almost 1,000 yards rushing, not counting Harris & others. I wouldn't call that a running team. We could do both. That's why team's had to play us honest on defense. Not saying I'm against the spread, but there's alot of difference between 7 on 7 and when the pads are on and you put lineman in the mix.

Didn't even get a chance to compete for the position he has played for years and don't get any reps in practice other than wildcat, which we haven't seen yet! Maybe the Pioneers get on track! I know Coach Johnson will give it his all! Class Act! The Eagles manhandled us last year, and we got to contain their speed for sure!

Yeah, we won. It wasn't pretty at all, neither was the scrimmage with Moore Co. Hats off to the Pioneer players for fighting hard. 10 yards of passing for a spread offense has to be a record! Call it like you see it! No disrespect to Dekalb, but they are one of the weakest teams on our schedule and we only won by 3 points. Only a few years ago we beat them 56-0 in a middle school game with almost the same players on both sides and our first string didn't play the second half.

Dekalb's coach (Trapp) will have Dekalb ready. Northcutt & Thrower will play hard, but look for other players like Martin and Glenn to do well also! Teams will focus on Northcutt & Thrower and others will show that WC has alot of weapons! Harris (FB) can tote the rock too! Some players need to play both ways, due to thier ability. LOD has a point, but if you have players that can go both ways and consistantly make plays, they need to be on the field and can be rested a couple of series. JMO! The Tigers have a better "D" this year, so let's get it on! Go Pioneers!

Pioneersports, until we do something about statements that people from the boro posts, they will keep doing it! Welcome to CoachT. They have good teams and we must work hard and beat them to shut them up! That's life! Until we do, live with it! Back in the day, we were competitive with them! They have bragging rights now! Work hard and change it! Bottom line!

Pioneers can pass & run this year! Question is; Will the defense be physical? I want to see a bunch of crazed animals out there!

Agree with compustatman! At Nunley Stadium in McMinnville, it's the small kids running up & down the isleways and people getting there late and want to stand up in the middle of the crowd and socialize with no regard to people watching the game. Worst I've seen @ any stadium!

Easy now! Coach Johnson is a great coach and will get the under classmen some reps and if they out perform the Juniors & Seniors they will start and should. You will see quickly, there is alot of difference in a 15 year old and a 17 year old. Keep him working hard and he'll be fine!

We have several good lineman, but Cody is a Beast and has worked his tail off to be where he's at! Most young men don't realize the potential they have and just want to have a good time and go through the motions. He has really focused on his future and will reap the benefits, when the others will be kicking themselves in the butt a few years from now! #1 will be ready to go and has his sights set on L.C. They were hard on him last year even though he had a great game, he still remmebers the concussion and most importantly knows we haven't beat the Falcons since 1983! College's are interested, but he must have a good year. Hopefully his Mom and I won't have to lay the hammer down on him anymore! Good luck to the Falcons this year and keep the dummies off the head coaches butt! Coach Thompson is a great man and one of the best coaches in Tennesseee history!

No, Coach Newby hasn't called them in awhile. Jay Walker is the man and has had several different people the last few years help him! Too bad when you get a few miles out of town, you can't pick up the game! 1240 AM. I would love to listen to it at away games! Pioneers play this weekend in the Wilson Central Jamboree!

Falconstatman! Now that I know who you are, we can talk football on here as well as work! Didn't know Ray Ray's last name and that caught me off guard! Appreciate you & the rest of the co-workers welcoming me with open arms! It's going to be a great year with all the Tullahoma, Franklin Co., Warren Co. & Coffe Co. fans @ work! Not to mention all the Vol & Alabama fans! Makes working 50-60 hours a week more pleasent! Don't it?

wingman10, My apologizes for previous posts. You weren't talking about players, I just posted before I thought! Enjoy your insight on Middle Tennessee football my man! We have scrimmaged Moore Co. for the last several years and have also had an all day workout with Siegel, which got pretty testy with fights breaking out left & right! This year, I guess Coach Johnson kept Moore Co. scrimmage and not sure what happened with our annual deal with the Stars. Seemed like the whistle was very short when they had the ball and we never heard one when we had it! They have a new coach and will probably have better discipline. IMO!

Haven't heard that rumor. Thanks for the well wishes! I had great hopes this year and after our success with 7 on 7, but when the pads came on I am not so sure! Coach Johnson wasn't happy with what he saw Saturday!

Very impressed with Moore Co. and the head coach! Coach Smith is a class act and love the players intensity! Ya'll will do better this year than predicted for sure! Thank you for taken it to us and we needed that!

We have scrimmaged them each year for the last three years as far as I know! I think it benefits them more than us! Don't knock the players, they will line up against anyone!

You are right! Look forward to this year's game! You guys always have a good team and are well coached. I'd say the winner will be 6AAA Champs! JMO!
