no actually they don't. The crap they are taking from parents and the paper, their probably glad they don't (IMO). These coaches know what they are doing. WC has no patience only 3 games and already complaining.

put Thrower at QB you will still lose by 30, middle school football and high school football are not even close to the same. But nice try. Oh and its moron not Moran. I really wish Coach would put Thrower at QB so maybe we could all move on to another excuse why they are losing. Thrower can't do it all by himself. I doubt Thrower being QB would solve all the problems and put WC in a no. 1 slot.

From what I've seen, I can't for the life of me figure out what is going on? Starters are always different each game?? Play seems so disorganized and sloppy?? I hear a sophmore is playin with F's. Can anyone help clear some of this up for me??? Help!!

That is very true. You take WC record and supplemental pay the coaches get and pickins is slim.....so to speak.

Are you serious??? All I have read on the girls post was how long eades had (losing) before something was done and now you are saying give Smith 6 years??? You saw his record how much more losing does there have to be not to mention the way he talked to the players before something was done???? Really again I say are you serious???

I think it has been a long season for the guys. They are tired mentally and physically. Disgusted, frustrated and sick and tired of feeling like they can never do anything right. So by the end of the season yes I'm sure the desire is not as good as it was at the beginning of the season. But given the way they have been done and things that have been said to them over and over again. I'm proud they have stuck it out. I don't think if I was in their shoes I could have done it. Hope for better days ahead.........

I agree. The boys have nothing to be ashamed about. Frustrated yes, but not ashamed. Agree they have defintely been beaten down enough by their own peers, coaches, etc...But the subbing thing is nothing new been doing it now for 3 years didn't make sense then don't make sense now. Never ever understood all the subbing. No other school high school that I have watched this season (all 7AAA) sub the way Smith does... don't get his philosphy.

I have seen all kinds of schools with freshmen banners hanging??? Whats your point anyways??? I think everyone in warren county is very aware of the wins and losses.....I don't care if your a freshman or varsity player if you have a good season and finish with a banner then why not hang it???

BELIEVE ME i don't expect much from the "paper guy" and frankly the ones that are SOL are the players on the team that have worked hard all season had a great season and a chance to win the district and will more than likely not have one thing about it in the paper because it's being played in Lebanon and NO ONE should expect your "paper guy" to go out of town to cover a game. Talked to a freshman parent today and was told they won Saturday against White County. They will play Wednesday (yes Wednesday) at 7:30 against the winner of Lebanon vs Cookeville game that was played tonight. If freshmen win Wednesday they will play same time (7:30) Thursday night for championship. Yes they hope it's Blackman. Again, I know its getting old but had to ask around to find out didn't see nothing about it in the paper. Maybe I just overlooked it???? Good luck to Varisty tomorrow would love for them to walk away with a big W

You apparently are not familar with Warren County. No he's not fired. The girls coach is worse than the boys and she's not fired either. The powers that be aren't concern with winning. Its more about who your related too or who you know. Anywhere else both would have been gone a long time ago. Hate it for the kids they play hard and try hard really do derserve better. It's got to be tough to be a player on the boys and girls team. But you don't have to rub it in. The boys on the team are playing as hard as they can. You Siegel fans are something else.

Can anybody give me some information on how I can find out about the upcoming freshmen district tourney? Trying to find out bracket and times teams will be playing.....any help would be appreciated...

CONGRATS TO THE FRESHMEN TEAM!!! WAY TO GO! WOW!! not an easy district. I heard they will play sometime Saturday in Lebanon not sure time yet. Also heard will either play Oakland or Sparta. You think maybe the paper will NOW cover these boys? I never can find out nothing about how they do unless I go our ask my child who goes to the high school. They really deserve more coverage than what they have gotten this season......
