Riverdale had Blackman on the ropes but they fought back. My friend at the game said Blackman struggled shooiting the ball but got easy baskets if their pressure. My 5 cents is this....riverdale is crooked no matter how you spin it. There transfers may be "legal" " above the table" but shady business talks took place during AAU, mainly the flight. It is not a coincidence that they replaced players they lost with just what they need. It's all good though cause just like college sports no one cares as long as you win. SH looked better against Webb. Those girls were tuff physical. Good win. Anyone know who they play in Cleveland? Boone should have never been able to back in there game with CAK. Boone lost to Webb and SH beat CAK should be some more good games today. SH looked aweful in the first half and played much better in the second half. The big Aples kid played good minutes off the bench as did Rogers. Caught the second half of the Boone game. Boone could not handle the half court pressure. Webb looked really solid at the guard positions.

I have been wrong twice this year already. Yes DB only scored 10 the whole half. SH played as a team and has been all year. They looked really impressive last night. I have watched them for a while and this team looks better than any in years past on the defensive side. They all can play defense. Wow.

Yes and they have lost both games. Big week for some top teams in D1. DB and SH on Tuesday and SH and Tenn on Friday. Early statement games for all 3. DB may have something for SH after I seen them play over thanksgiving. They have the post and guards to match SH. I have seen Boone play last year and they lost some close games cause of coaching. I think there are other coaches in the two leagues who have cost their teams wins too. I have seen coaches in this league consistently win games for their teams with adjustments. So if saying someone out coaches another is a jab then you my friend need to go back to middle school. Anything else you would like to know?

I still think SH will win but if they play like they did last week it will be close. As for the fast tempo, SH is not pressing like they did in years past. Speed kills in any sport but you have to use it.

I'm done with transfer talk. T$$AA isn't going to change. Now on to the teams. Science Hill got a big win against Morristown West at west last night. West was considered the best team in East Tennessee as they went undefeated this summer and returned all their players from last year.

I will say what I want. West will not beat SH this year. When you are up 20 in the fourth on the road you tend to let up and yes it was 20 (44 - 22). As competition out league stinks but that doesn't hinder SH or at least I hope not. Those kids play when it counts and have for years. It was 20 going into the fourth. On the road and coulda ended up worse but with the fouls like 12 to 2 so free throws kept the tempo down. SH looks better on the defensive end than last season.
