  1. Here's my bullet points, from a fan of NET Footbal and HS Football in general. I think I will be proved correct in time:

#1. Carter would have had a tough road next year and in seasons soon approaching, whether he stayed at South or not. He has to pretty much build from scratch at the Hill. Southers, and especially the parents of the players that are still there, like it or not South has seen the best classes with the past 4-5 that it may ever see. The last two were the tops, period. South will have a 'good' year in 2010 as I feel the rest of the area for the most part will drop off in talent as well. It's gonna be a downhill slide at South though, starting now. Carter knew it and so do the coaches that are left. Comp, sorry partner, you are wrong on this one and maybe a little to far removed from the program now to see it. I have my contacts. ;) Sorry, but thats the honest truth. However, the South squad will not curl up and fold. They will again outwork everyone else and play with heart. There will be a few "stars" still left as well, like Heath Haden.

#2. The talent at South has been very, very good. Whoever said Carter took "average" talent and won or whatever, is clueless. These classes, especially the last class (graduating class of 2010) have been extremely good to dominant in various sport since they were in elementary school. Even the South basketball team with this '10 class won titles as freshman and jv. (Varsity now is suspect) As point #1 said, the talent at South will decline sharply and will make it seem as if they dropped off simply because Carter left. It was going to drop off anyway. He is a good coach, a great man, but he was blessed with talent. I think if you had switched Carter and R Nelson 4-5 years ago, we'd be talking the same stuff as Nelson was leaving for the HC job at the Hill.

#3. I have to believe Carter has college coaching aspirations, because people who know about him know he is married well and $ is not the issue. This leads me to point #4.

#4. ETSU football is dead. Don't see it coming back within the timeframe that Carter is coaching. I think he is too smart to even be thinking "I'm setting myself up for that job when it comes back". No way. He hopes to be coaching college ball somewhere else in the college ranks.

#5. I have a hard time feeling sorry for Overbay. He's been there how long? Ive never been impressed with his DC prowess, like I am with Coach Watson at DB. He's had an opportunity to make a dent. I bet his temper helped him with his decision to hang it up.

#6. I think the assistants who are hanging it up at the Hill may get to miss some good things and regret it later. IF, IF Carter can get the athletes walking the halls to come out and play, they could become a power in football too within a few years. But, these kids need to know, they are going to work very hard. I have never seen a South team in the last few years run into a team that was in better shape. We'll see if laziness wins out with Carter's no nonsense style. Hill parents you will be happy with the character Carter will instill in you young men.

#7. If the boys on the Hill come out to play, and the coaches stay or join Coach Carter, they'll love him. They will cherish their playing days once they are over. I hope athletes like Mitchell will stick it out. You'll be glad you did.

#8. Coach Haynie is a great choice at South. He is loved and respected by his players. A great deal of Coach Carter's success is due to Coach Haynie and I think Carter would agree. South has great assistants. They are in dire need of someone that can step in at OC though and run the O. This is where I agree with Comp. Carter needed a good OC. His play calling was pretty poor from my seat. He had a set in stone gameplan. I made the trip to Columbia and visited family in Franklin. If he had thrown, and thrown deep on 1st and 2nd down, the game would have been much better. He had the WRs and St. Clair could hit 'em. The ran dives and draws constantly and then threw on 3rd and long. Pretty easy to read right there. In case you are wondering, Waco, this is also Dobyns Bennett's weakness with Coach Clark. He needs someone to work with the play calling. Wagner maybe?

#9. Ralph Nelson has an open door at the Hill. Question is will he take it and can they pay him? The paper said Carter might be able to bring two. I think Haynie from South would have been choice number one if he brought his assistants from SSHS. I would think Hilton would be a good choice as well. Scott Nelson would be taking a step up to take and AC position at the Hill, leaving Central. I expect South will install Jordan at OC, unless he is lured to Central. Since Jordan helped Carter with playcalling before, I'm not sure this is a good move for the Southers.

#10. NET Football as a whole will be weaker and I don't see anyone making a deep playoff run. I feel the playoff teams from '09, Boone, TN High, South will all be weaker. Crockett is done. I don't see anything from the other Sullivans. I think D-B may be the only exception. Depends what they are working on, right now.

I honestly hope I am wrong on several of my points and I do not mean to be a pessimist, but these are my unattached, unbiased oppinions. Prove me wrong in 2010 and I will certainly admit it.

Excellent post, Puddin. ETSU will not have a football team until after the current prez leaves. A friend of mine on the committee says such. Carter is looking toward a college position and rightly so. The man has talent. Ralph and Scott will help tremendously. The Sullivans are all weak except South which will be strong for another year. Won't get as deep into the playoffs though. #12 is outstanding in my book.

  2. Their going to build a truck stop where Central High School is located. Don't know where the kids will go to school.

I heard that too WaCo. But the kids won't go to school. The latest newflash says a jail is going to be out back to hold all the drug salesman so they won't have to cross the highway to Carolina Pottery. Seeger could handle them in middle school but his players get to Central and find women, liquor and drugs and football don't hold much interest! Pity the sucker who ends up there.

  3. You know you been missin me WaCoJaco. lol It was gettin a little deep so I got out my boots and some humor. Course last I heard, Stacy was offered $100,000 a year and a car to go over to the Hill. lol Now if they was to throw in a trip to Hawaii for Mrs. Coach Carter, that offer might fly. Maybe some pearls too. Oh yeah, and before I forget it, for all of you pundits who seems to have the "inside" scoop. If you woke up this morning, it's because Stacy Carter LET you wake up.

    The Hawg!

  4. I tell you now that Stacy was an Army Ranger and his military disipline is real. Stacy can quell an argument without saying a word. He can bust you in the mouth without clinching a fist. It's not just Stacy that has this ability but it is a man's man.

Let me tell you guys something: I heard that before he goes to bed at night, Chuck Norris looks to see if STACY CARTER is under HIS bed! Now that's some kind of adversity right there!

  5. Science Hill is about to go under for the third time. If Stacy goes there they will come out of the woodwork to play for him. He will dress 120. Those parents over there see him as a Deity. It won't take any work whatsoever. They will embrace his military dicipline from day one. And the success will happen the first year. They are hungry for it and those parents will stand in line to help with any little job that can be done. Starving people appreciate someone who feeds them. South beat the Hill the past three years on conditioning alone regardless of what else was on the table. He will be their Moses to lead them through the desert. Stacy has hit a brick wall at South. We Southers know what that is...no need to discuss it. But Hunter Jordan probably won't get the job. If he did though, he would not miss a beat picking up exactly where Stacy left off. No one else on the staff has the expertice understanding Coach Haney is looking at administration.

Good analysis relative to the SH hunger. The problem at South (and other Sullivan County high schools) is the urban growth plan for Kingsport and Bristol. South will be at 800 students in 5 years and 600 in ten. East and Central will see similar drops. North may remain stable (and underutilized) because the law does not require cities to clean up their boundaries and Kingsport does not want Bloomingdale and Lynn Garden. Overall, the County will be heading to one consolidated high school located at the Blountville exit on I-81. That is probably ten years out, politically. D-B will grow to 2000+ students and THS will grow to 1600+. Those are simply the planning numbers all the educators are using. South can compete in the next ten years in AA, just not in AAA.

If I were the parent of a middle school football player in Sullivan County I would be working the political process (including Phil Roe) to force the TSSAA to reclassify in 3 years instead of 6. Then Central and South could drop D-B (Dobyns-Bennett) and start playing C-D (Chuckey-Doak).

Make no mistake, I think there is a good chance SC will stay. If SH does not hire him they will hire Witten from Betsy. Carter will continue to be very successful if he and the Rebels can drop to AA. They just need to stay out of the same subdivision as Alcoa.

This is probably the most logical and statictically correct post I have seen on this thread. Annexation will rip athletic programs apart in the County as it has done at in the North Zone. I have heard nothing of SC leaving but should he decide to do that, IMO, Hunter Jordan would not make a good replacement. His expertise is as an assistant until he gets more experience under his belt. Being a Middle School Head Coach does not a High School Head Coach make. It's an entirely different playing field. My vote would go for either Scott Nelson who needs to get out of the Central toilet bowl or perhaps Ralph Nelson. Two good alums ready for the call. Both outstanding young men like SC. Time will tell. There are talentd young men coming up along with #12 and #44 but depth has not been cultivated. You can't play the same 10-15 both sides and expect the depth to come.

  6. I think Morgan is pullin for an injury free game and the Red Rebels!!! I don't know who he's pullin for in the bowl game with U.T. and Wisconsin though.

    StarsnBars,

It's been a real pleasure chatting with you on these boards the last few weeks. You show a class in your posts that many would do well to replicate. We are praying for Morgan and hope he heals up nicely. You keep us posted on his progess if you have time. I hope Morgan's pulling for Wisconsin. UT and that Fulmer dude give me the creeps. Go BADGERS!

PS........Food and accomodations in Mairvul were exceptional.

  7. Rebmom4life,

This was a most touching post from an obviously dedicated and loving mom. I called my wife over to read this one and even she teared up at your writings. It's parents everywhere like you who help mold these young men into productive citizens of tomorrow. You have made a lot of memories as your son has and you also have made life-long friends that will surround you the rest of your life. This is just the beginning of another chapter in your son's life. It too will be enjoyable even though you will be a little more removed from the scenes to come. Sounds like you threw in and worked your butt off as most dedicated parents do. That's why the Coaching staff really appreciates people like you. You can take care of the little things and they can get to the business of coaching. This has been an outstanding time for the South Football team and these young men. For many, it will be a once in a lifetime experience. Aren't you glad you were along for the ride. My hat is off to you dear mom and this old coach's heart aches for the young men who finished their last game. It is truly an emotional moment in their lives. Reality is about to set it and we all know that requires a lot from these young men. They have developed a rapport with the coaches that will carry them through the ups and downs of their lives. "To whom much is given, much is expected" When your son goes on out there in life and begins to give back to the community and to his family (as I expect he already is doing in some ways) you will know he has reached his final touchdown. God bless you "MOM."

  8. As many others have said, this is the last post for me before game time. Leaving my employment around noon to pick up mama and head down the interstate. God be with all fans and players and parents as they make the drive down today. I, like 83Rebel, am a bit melancholy at the predictions but I know it CAN be done. South Rebels, BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE!

No matter what the outcome, all are winners in my book. Not too many have mentioned Coach Carter but he too is an outstanding young man. Good Christian morals and values and a great leader for our young men. He's impacting our men at South for the rest of their lives.

I too have enjoyed this post and am glad it was started.

  9. I've never had the pleasure of seeing Phillips play live but from what i read and hear he is for real. I had an exchange of posts early this season with someone fromup there about a young reciever named Kitzmiller what can you tell me about him?

IMO, Phillips is like a high school version of Tim Tebow. Great kid, double threat, outstanding athlete. Kitzmiller has hands like magnets. Fast as lightening too. Nickname is KK but I think it should be THE KK.

  10. Coach Rider at Volunteer is a class act boys! Comes from good football stock, has breathed life and fire back into the falcons and is on the move with his team. Fan support is great, enthusiasm is back up and most importantly, the kids have confidence in themselves. I for one think it's about time that the falcons thought positive about themselves. My vote goes for this turn-around-Rider!

  11. I do not think anyone involved with this game (SS and Maryville) is saying that SS has no chance to win. I also do not think that anyone who has played SS and is really evaluating the game is saying that either. I have stated (MoWest fan) that if SS can keep it close or get a lead, then they have a perfect chance to do what has not been done in 58 (or 59 can't remember) games. I also know that SS is not a one man team. Curt is very important to the team, but he is not the team. I was extremely impressed with his performance against West and what I heard on the radio against Greeneville. What impresses me most is what he opens up for his teammates. If you pay too much attention to Curt the other players are there to take advantage of that lapse. So, no one can say that SS does not have a chance.

However, everyone also has to admit that Maryville is favored. The success speaks for itself and will continue to speak until someone is able to beat them. I remember the last two years we played Maryville. In 2005 we had a huge line, a bruising running back, and home field. I did not guarantee a win, but felt we would keep it close and perhaps get the win. Maryville manhandled our line (much bigger than their defensive line) and stopped the running back cold. I was in total shock. It was totally unbelievable. In 2006 we also had a huge line, fast backs, and a huge D1 fullback. However, on offense we tried to come out and pass. It did not work very well. On defense we were very strong, but Maryville was so polished that it did not matter. Their line made the plays to open holes for the backs and the passes were all timing routes. They were complete before our defensive backs could get close to the receiver. Then the receiver (pick one) would turn up field make a move and be gone for a huge gain. We were out of that game in the first quarter.

So, while SS does have a chance (again the game must be played) you have not played a team like Maryville. I hope that SS does win (region pride) and will be pulling for that come Friday night, but I also know Maryville.

I guarantee they will be the most polished and mistake free team that SS has played. Is that enough to say Maryville will win, no it is not. I really hope that Curt will make the difference and be one more player than Maryville can handle, but it is hard for me to believe it will happen. MoWest's experience speaks too loud in my mind from recent years to believe that Maryville will lose. However, we did not have a player of Curt's ability. So, I am hoping that Maryville will have to pay too much attention to him, which will allow his teammates the opportunity to make the plays necessary for the win.

On a side note, there is no doubt that both of these teams respect each other. You do not make it to this round without that respect. There is no doubt that both of these teams deserve to be here. They have both proved it on the field. There is no doubt that both of these teams have a lot of talent. The stats and records show the talent level. So, I am expecting it to be a great game. I am hoping it will be a close game (not like the last two years against us). And last but not least I am hoping for a South win. I do not mean any disrespect to Maryville and I do not consider myself to be a Maryville hater. If you are a high school football fan, then you have to respect what GQ, staff, and players have done. It is the program we are all trying to emulate, but it would be nice to see a NET team do...well, what seems to be...the impossible.

Once of the most mature, outstanding, intelligent posts I have read. Kudos sir.

  12. Hey: Ho Go Nice, Will this week be part four. I miss your prose.

I appreciate your kind words but at the time I began that missive, I was relatively new to the board. After some wise counsel from 83SouthRebel I decided to suspend the posting that I had prepared. He aluded to the fact that many would attack as he had been a poster for some time and knew how things went. Even at my age, I know when to listen to the younger men who've been around this type of thing for some time. I have now been posting a little longer and have found the wise words of 83SouthRebel to ring true. Perhaps after the fact I shall opine with a Rebel poem but for now, it is safely packed away in my desk drawer. Much like another poster said, my work keeps me from posting and reading as I would like to. I'm drawn to CoachT for the same reasons as many of you, to see outstanding young men and Coaches lifted up in discussions that lend learning to all. Again, my thanks for your encouragement but at this juncture will hold off on any further poetry until the time is right. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> And the name is Hog on Ice.............hogonice.

  13. I've been playing with some numbers this morning, and suddenly what I see on paper is making me think that this game could be closer than what my gut is telling me. I'll post some of my findings later.

I'd be interested in seeing your stats, Papa. Since my "real" job sort of involves stats here at the workplace, I'd like to see the research you been doing and your prognostications. Thought I'd throw in a 2 dollar word. 83Rebel, and JDRebel, I'd also like to see what you guys are thinking today about the game. I see you are keeping a low profile today.

Personally, I'd like to see the posts take a more positive turn toward discussing some football myself. I'm not interested in people's heritage right now. Let's talk football!

  14. Thank you for including this. Morgan is an amazing young man. He has been through some trials that would test the best of us, not only with his illness, but a horrible car wreck (truck rolled several times, bruises only, thank God) and then the loss of a close friend as well. What he has had to handle would try the mettle of most grown men, but he has continued to show a grace and strength of spirit far beyond that of men twice his age. He was a defensive force to be reckoned with his junior year, and although no longer able to play (and sorely missed), is still a leader on the team. He attended most, if not all, practices, work-outs, etc. and continually encouraged his team with his positive and upbeat attitude. He was elected a team captain and led them onto the field at every game. He can be seen at every game, on the sidelines pumping up the team, in the stands leading the students' cheers, in the booth giving color commentary. His spirit is unstoppable and unflagging, and GOD given. If Morgan has requested the above prayer, then I would ask each one of you, no matter what school you are from or what team you support, to make it your prayer too. I know I am. Thank you.

Very well put Rebelmom, very well put. Kudos to you. What a kid!

    Personal note:

I have a little cousin from up there who due to illness, is unable to play football this year. Morgan Edwards is a member of the Sullivan South football team. Morgan has been through a lot this year. I spoke with him yesterday and he has some surgery scheduled this week at the Cleveland Clinic and will be unable to attend the game Friday. He had really wanted to come to the game, but this surgery had been scheduled for sometime in advance.

I asked Morgan what he wanted me to pray for this week and he said, "That the Good Lord will guide the hands of my surgeons and I will have a good recovery and may all the players in the Sullivan South-Maryville game play to the best of their abilities and be injury free." So that is my prayer too..........

Lord have mercy you are the most entertaining poster on this thread. I am still laughin but I'll tell you one thing, the personal note brought a whole bunch of goose bumps on my old wore down body. I've heard about the great leadership qualities of young Mr. Morgan Edwards. He can sure far up a crowd and gets the players playin their best too. I appreciate your thoughtful inclusion of that personal information. I hope everyone prays for Morgan and for safe play on both sides. When push comes to shove, football is preparin these young men for the battles of life. Some of their battles will be most difficult and they will remember when they gave their all for their school, coach, and community, and as 2000Rebel81 said, they'll notch up their bootstraps and tackle the task at hand. God bless you sir for your friendly nature and humble posts.

Just found this on tricitiessports.com and thought it most appropriate.

ONE SOUTH SENIOR WON'T MAKE TRIP TO MARYVILLE

Morgan Edwards, who has missed all of his senior season due to an illness that was first diagnosed just after the 2006 season, participated in his final game last Friday.

While Edwards can't play, he was still elected as a team captain and has led the Rebels on the field just before every game this season.

Edwards is scheduled for a planned surgery on Thursday that could be the last step of his long recovery process.

"My teammates have meant everything and done everything for me this year," said Edwards. "They voted me as a team captain, Chris [Collins] wore my jeresey [#30 in final regular season home game] and they won another conference championship. I just want one more thing - a state championship ring."

  16. Played for the south team that started this streak of consecutive playoff appearances from 2000-present... at that time coach carter was a secondary and wide receivers coach... with each passing year south has gotten just a little better... Maryville is a giant, powerhouse program with a winning tradition unparalled by any in recent memory in our state... I have much respect and admiration for the maryville program as im sure all of us do here in the south nation... at some point a giant must sleep, leaving a small window of opportunity open... South is more than a one man show, everyone knows about the talents of #10... but he doesnt get very far without the other 10 guys doin some dirty work... South will be huge underdogs, but you know what... all the pressure is on maryville, no one expects south to win... Play loose, play fast, play hard, play together... Streaks are meant to be broken, dominance cannot last forever... Strap it up and go to work boys, rebel nation will be there in blue and gray... Good luck to both sides, may all our boys be safe and injury free

After I read your post sir, I stood up and saluted you! This was a goodn. I hope many of the current Rebel Players read this and take it all in Somebody said that Mairvul puts their pants on the same way as the South Crew Do and that is most correct. I liked your motivation toward the end there. Coming from a Southern Brother, it inspired even me! There's more than Curt on the team but just let all these posters think he's the only one. Just like a little ole junkyard dog, some of them others gonna come up to haunt the Red Rebels. I pray for safety for all the athletes and staff. As my wife says, don't let that baby face of Coach Carter fool you. He comes right from the trenches himself so he's been there and done that.

I'd like to add that as a Rebel supporter, I appreciate all the kind words from Hawkins County, Hampton and all the other well wishers. Makes this old reciever proud to hear it comin to the young fellers. There's some good posters who are knowledgeable but then there's the...............well, never mind.

JDRebel, 83SouthRebel, punkinhaid, itstartshereman, and Mama Rebel, you all have a safe trip down. Me and Mama will be there with bells on. And I like what that poster from Hampton said..........git--er--done!

  17. Looking forward to the trip next Friday night, never been to Maryville!!! I will bet $10,000 to anyone that the REBELS win!!

Good Luck to both sides, but of course I hope for more luck to my South REBELS!!!

Plan on leaving around 3 or so from kingsport.

Will be looking for a bite of supper, any suggestion on good restaurants in the area of the school, remember I have never been there before so go easy on me y'all. LOL

Maryville your rep speaks for itself! so how do you be the best, well you take on the best and South is ready and anxious to play the best in the state, and that has been proven over the past several years! Very much looking forward to this next challenge!!

Good Luck and will see you all next week!!

    JDRebel

    Hey JDReb,

StarsnBArs has recommended some fine eatin esatblishments in Mairvul as he so appropriately calls it and he even recommended a motel for mama and me so you might look at some more threads where he posts or ask him on here. He seems to have some good info. I done told 83Rebel to go get him some hot pockets daggone it I mean hot hands and some of that high dollar underarmor stuff and he's set for the game. It's gonna be a goodn for sure. Liked your humor about a "rebel" winnin it. Yeah, since ain't nobody playin 'cept the Rebels. You are one sharpe tool in the shed thar. Hope you and yours had a great Turkey Day and are ready for some football. I hear Bochepus a singin it now!!!!

  18. Don't know who this Brian Smith is but I believe that he missed a key contributor to the South O and D line #52. Tell me if I'm wrong but I've been watching the past 3 games closely and it is my opinion that this young man is the leader on both. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> For that matter the ENTIRE O and D LINE proved their importance! It is because of their effort that Mr. Phillips is able to make those stunning plays and if you ask him he will agree (and he always gives credit to them!) Awesome win for the Rebels and terrific effort by the Devils. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> From a long time faithful Rebel fan, I have faith you will have a great game next week!

Hampton you rock! Good luck to both and hope we meet up at state finals!!

    How'bout them Rebels!!!

Starsnbars, I sure appreciate your recommendation of the luxurious accomodations at the Shamrock. I"ll get mama to google it and see what's up. I get a kick outa your posts too. My ex wife was an English teacher and I can see that school marm just a spinnin if she could read your posts! They are outstanding. Now to Reb425. I must add another name to that #52 you mentioned. I don't know the young lad's name #52 but he's a go getter. I'll tell you anothern to add to that "open up a can of whup butt on people" is that Hunter Beedle kid. He's a dagone beast! That kid would skeer me to pass him in the halls thar at school! Sheweeeeeeeeee. They's a lot of beasts on that Rebel O and D that don't get the mention but they're in them trenches all the time a diggin it out for Curt. Personally, I think Seth Johnson has really come through for the Rebs this year. Great kid too. Now 83Reb, go on out to the huntin section at Walmart and get you some of them hot pockets, nah wait a minute, that's food, them hot hands, and that'll carry right on where your underoos leave off. Can't wait to see the chat this week on this board. It's gonna be a hootananny.

  19. That Mo West team and this years version are a little different. Listen I've been saying for a while that this is the year that Maryville will get beat, but after what I just saw them do to Red Bank there's just no way. If they come out and play that way they will walk to a state title. I have seen South play once this year (against Mo West) and I watched Red Bank play Powell. Red Bank is better up front then South and they are a lot more athletic. Phillips isn't as good of a natural runner as the Sims kid (27) for Red Bank is and Maryville absolutely shut him down because they are gap sound and they fly to the football. The mercy rule will come in to effect at some point in this game.

Too bad we ain't got the "mercy" rule on this board! Or too bad this ain't Survivor so we could vote you OFF the island. Or wuz you ever ON the island? You need to get your flute fixed and practice.

  20. You know panther, I have come to the conclusion that comp and the majority of the other posters on here were actually correct about you. Your more about degrading and demeaning than you are about civil talk, especially after reading your post on the Maryville v. Red Bank thread. Congrats Rebels. Outstanding victory tonight. You have nothing to prove to anyone, just go out and play your game!

Hey 83SouthReb, didn't get to post to you before the game but I'd done gone over to the Sportin Goods store last week for my UnderArmor too. I saw the picture and thought I'd bring back some high school memories of my physique. Heck, after all that turkey and stuffin I put away, seems I had more flesh to compress in my cold gear than I'd remembered from that Junior year! I have developed a few more "muscles." All that said, doggone I still stayed warm with all that South Rebel action going on! Only thing was, Curt had to score about 3 tds before they'd count one. What's up with that blasted new rule? Score 3 count 1. I have to agree with you brother on your comment about that panther dude or dudette whichever. He certainly seems to have an opinion and you know what opinions are compared to. Too bad folks ain't positive on all these young men suitin up and going to battle for their schools. Maybe his flute is tore up. Stuff happens I guess. To the mighty Rebels, you got your new task at hand and all of Pactolus is behind you. You got a lot of folks behind you from all teams especially them Hampton Bulldogs. Now there's some good football men thar. Don't listen to crap, just listen to your coaches. Remember what a buddy of mine at DB says............."any team can be beat on any given day."............Mama done lookin to book me a hotel room down thar in Marivul or however they say it. I'll be there in my Under Armor Cold Compression Gear a rootin you on. OH and yeah remember this........it ain't the size of the Rebel in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the Rebel that counts. Go South Rebels.

  21. Hey hog,

I have been gettin to the the game around 6:15 to 6:30, shouldn't be no problem to get tickets.

    C-ya there!!! GO REBELS!!!

Thanks JD! Sheweeeeeee. I had to read about 15 pages to find your comment. I go out to buy a turkey with the little wife and come back and find all of this stuff! My head is spinning and you can imagine how it looks when a pig's head is doing a 360. Cap, you don't know me but I respect your opines on here and want you to know I have placed a direct call to WasteManagement to come clean up this crap! It'll be an emergency run! Daggone, this thread has wore me out. 83Rebel, great definitive post you made. I actually could understand it and it made good sense. Rebeltothecore, you hurry on back from Ohio; we may need you to open up a can of.............well, never mind. Happy Thanksgiving to all! From the Mrs. and Hog.
