Forgive me i am new to this site, is this poll ajoke, do i sense sarcasim, educate me please. A poll is normally based on some knowledge and common sense. I admit i have none outside o f west tn but the west I know and isee zero sense in this 100 percent poll. It is fun to talk about though.

Like I sai my knowledge of all the east and middle Tn school is suspect

I will point out one big mistake Millington beat Houston in a scrimage 5 tds to non with complete dominance. Houston has not played anyone and is pobably the fourth best in ther region. Trojan Dad

I realize that west Tn. has done that well recently, but I think you may be a little biased with only one west tn. school in your top ten. I have been able to see most of our west tn 5a schools and I can promise you German town is not ou bestm maybe third best. Whitehaven is very strong with alot of returning starters. Millington has maybe the best junior class in the state going 24-1 over the last 2 plus years.How many teams could survive the worst performance in years 8 turnovers and still win, that will not happen again. Millington by October will be better than they were last year they are young but very talented and the hardest working kids I have seen. The loss to Independence left them hungry with a taste for a State title. GO TROJANS

I have a very limited knowledge of middle to east tn football,however I do know we have not done well here in the west at state in recent years. I do think that is about to change though. I did not put alot of 2a to 4a teams in because I have seen most of the time when they go head to head with quality 5a schools they lose. I do however know alittle about our west tn schools. Here goes my attempt at a top 20: 1. Franklin 2. Farragut 3.Oakland 4. Millington 5. Whitehaven 6. Maryville 7. Henry County 8.BGA 9. MBA 10. MUS 11.Brentwood 12. Germantown 13.Houston 14.Ooltewah 15.Christian Brothers 16.Bearden 17.Riverdale 18. Milan 19.Independence 20.Collierville

I think barring injuries Millington will be much better in October than they are now.The juniors on this team are a combined 24 and 1 over the last 2 plus years the sophomores are 10 and 1. We have some very good seniors, but make no mistake about it this is a junior led team. I know for a fact most of these kids stay an hour or more after practice to lift weights and run. They are very hungry and do not like to lose, they do not know how, evidence 9 turnovers and still win? Trojan Dad

nodoubt about it millington is the best in the west, the juniors onthis team have won achampionship at every level, and have lost one game in three years, that was independence
