The answer to your question is that South High School is a very good team for a third year team. They are missing several weight classes which hurts them in duels. The recently competed against Jefferson County and of the 8 matches that were actually contested, South took 6 by fall. The remaining matches were taken by Jefferson County by forfeit. I believe that is correct. They were also on a 8 match winning streak until the tournament at Morristown where they had several unable to attend. Two on the team have been to State and Armstrong is undefeated this year as a 119 though he will go to 112 next week. He went to State last year.
