Sounds about right. Pettigrew has only recently healed from injuries that held him back at the beginning of the year however. Also, if you stack your defense on him, Heckman can hurt you alot more than Smith could in the running game, as well as in the air. Totally different game IMO than the one that was only a 5 point differential with 8 minutes to play.

Excellent point about the field position. The worst field position Indy had all night was at the 20 yard line right before half after a pick in the endzone to prevent an Antioch score. Most drives started near or inside the 50 yard line, which will help make any offensive coordinator smile alot.

I love Dr. Henrie.... I totally agree with you. I think Eubanks will have his team ready to play (as if they need any more motivation) next Friday. He is doing an amazing job in his first year as a HC, it kind of makes you wonder why you never heard him mentioned for coach of the year. He's guided the team through alot of turmoil this year, losing the QB, starting 1-3, but now has them in the quarterfinals. Now that's coaching.

One of the bigger cheers of the night was let out by the Indy crowd when it was announced that FHS was winning 27-0. Everybody at IHS wants this rematch. Expect Indy Nation to be even louder and rowdier than usual, and look for IHS to come out on top. Franklin is the only 5A team to beat the Eagles all year, and Indy wants revenge. I think the Eagles coaches are too good to be beaten twice in one year by the same team.

This game was won on the line on both sides of the ball. The IHS line opened holes for the RB's, held off the pass rush, and just generally allowed the Eagle offense to run whatever they wanted. The D-line never allowed the Antioch QB time to be comfortable in the pocket and swallowed any RB who tried to run the ball. This game was all about the big boys... ...And the Indy defense. They were tremendous. Don't let the 12 points fool you, they only gave up one drive the entire game, right before halftime when they had to get an INT at the goal line to prevent a score. The 12 points were scored against backups. Anyone looking to score against this D better bring a really good game plan. BEAT THE REBELS!!!

IHS is ready to go. they have had a great week of practice and have the support of the entire school behind them. Antioch has great athletes, but I think the field (which has been looking rough all week) will play a factor in this game and make some key tackles. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Prediction: I like IHS by two touchdowns on the strength of Scott Pettigrew legs and Heckman's arm. I think this thread is about the game, not Mr. Football (not that everybody isn't making valid points). I've heard alot about #4 from Antioch, but I don't know his name. Anybody wanna share some info on him? Stats, size, scholarships?

Sounds like a little bit of a stretch to me. I think this game comes down to IHS's LB's being able to contain the Antioch QB's running ability. The corners have been playing excellent and should be able to take away the pass from Antioch, but dual-threat QB's have done some damage against us.
