well to start i heard it with my own two ears as well as my husband who was sitting right beside me..and i can even tell when he said it...at least our coach knows i told him when asked..at one paticular moment some thing happened on the floor and then a time out was called...that is when the two refs were in front of me and started talking....one thing needs to be said first off i don't sling mud and it's not the first time a ref has said that he has wanted a certain team to win...they should be fair and if they can't step into a gym and put their personal feeling aside then that's not the gym they need to be in...it is not a rumor it is a fact and do you honestly believe that any ref when in question is going to admit to being partial to any team, no matter what is going thru their head...we will be watching for that one special ref and yes he knows who he is....i would not of said it if it were not true...another ref didn't know who to call a foul on and asked the girls which one wants it...now how dumb is that, if you are going to call a foul know who fouled don't just blow your whistle....

i agree 100% with you on that one....another thing is its pretty bad when the refs are right in front of you and you hear one of them say to the other "well i want this team to win anyway"...they should really not be calling games if it's such an issue with them...and i also know that people say well your just mad because your team lost...well that's not the case all i and everyone else wants is for the game to be called fair win or lose for your team....but i guess thats to much to ask for sometimes.....good luck to your team in future games.... /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

well i was not prepared for the kind of calling they were doing...and yes our girls do have to come together for all 4 quarters to win a game or at least put forth an effort...let the other team know that you were there...right...we have not played well this year so far and i hope someone steps up and becomes a leader...that's what we need...i'm not putting our girls down i'm just saying they have to play as a team and it's gonna take all of them not just a few...and no they cannot control how the officiating is done but they can control how they handle the ball....and i hope they now know that tuesday night is gonna be tough but they must play and play hard...if they would just play the kinda of ball they are capible of playing they will be just fine.....hope we pull it out... /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

we lost because we did not play ball...we were not crying...all i said was that no matter who was playing the refs were bad...and gleason could of won if they had played ball...and you talk real big....i didn't put anyone down..gave credit where it was due..and tuesday they may lose but they may also win...it is all up to how they play....both teams....what is it that you have against this team....have these girls hurt you in some way...don't think so....no one can predict the outcome of a game..it is all in how the girls play ball...who wants it more....

i was at the game last night at (humboldt and gleason) and first off humblodt is a tough team...but reguardless of the out come we (gleason) did not play ball til the 4th quarter and you can't play ball late in the game and win and expect to come back from behind and win unless you hit every thing you throw up...even though the lady dawgs lost the officiating was horrible...not just because gleason lost but because no matter who was playing last night they were terrible...even if it had been joe the plumbers team and ted the dancers team...i do not know what they were looking at or if they were even in the right frame of mind to be calling games....the girls can take a loss but they can do it all by them selves...not when you play an 8 member team...and yes they did not play to their full ability last night...bad passes, walking,not hitting there shots, blaming other team mates but they lost because they did not play ball.. you can't win if you don't play....and play hard...i am not taking anything away from the lady vikings they won...they played hard and are very athletic and last night they were the better team...but it is early in the season and there are a lost of games left to be played...so don't count any team in this district out yet, they all will only get better... good luck to all the teams in the coming weeks....

WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THAT HUMBOLT SHOULD HAVE BEATEN GLEASON AND TRENTON. I THINK GLEASON HAS A GOOD TEAM. YES THEY ARE YOUNG BUT WHEN YOU PLAY FRESHMEN AND SOPHMORES AND 1 SENIOR THEN IT IS A LEARNING TEAM. AND I BELIEVE THAT WITH A LITTLE CONFIDENCE AND PRACTICE THE GIRLS WILL DO FINE THIS YEAR. IT'S NOT WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOOSE IT'S HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME... I DON'T CARE WHO WINS AS LONG AS THE GAME IS CALLED FAIR. BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN A GAME CALLED FAIR BY THE REFS YET THIS YEAR. THAT'S WITH ANY GAME PLAYED NOT JUST GLEASON OR TRENTON, OR DRESDEN, OR BRADFORD OR HUMBOLT. ETC...

SOME OF THE TEAMS ARE AS ROUGH AS FOOTBALL PLAYERS. ALL SOME OF THE GIRLS NEED ARE A HELMENT AND SHOULDER PADS. WHY DO THE REFS LET THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR ALLOWED? I MEAN IT IS SO OBVIOUS IT IS HAPPENING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. SOMEONE COULD SERIOUSLY GET HURT. YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT THE COACHES ACTUALLY ALLOW THEIR PLAYERS TO PLAY THIS WAY. IF THEY DO CONDONE IT THEN SHAME ON THEM. THEY NEED TO BE WHIPPED WITH A SWITCH.
