word here in the k-town area is that there has been some contact with that campbell co. coach (not going to say which one cough). about making up a nice package to replace a man that is leaving. don't know how accurate it is but i'm my sources are usually good.

well i do try to be as accurate as i can be, you can look at that as missing by 2 points 1 for each team officially and unofficially 1 by farragut by putting on there (if they make the extra point). thanks for noticing and the compliment.

i'm just curious about one thing, have they taken the day off from school up there in campbell co. for this big once in a lifetime event.

ok folks, decided to lay low (due to work out of town) and have some thoughts about this upcomming games where region 1 takes on region 2. and here's my thought (not that it matters). db takes out ooltewah in convincing fashion ccchs loses heart breaker to farragut sd takes out karns or wipes sc out but this is a ccchs thread so will focus on them. farragut: good defense and a good ground game. ccchs: good defense and a good ground game. game points: both teams similar in reputation here. defense and run. however, experience plays a big factor in this game. farragut has been there before and ccchs has not. farragut played in a tough region while ccchs has played in a region where the balance of power has changed leaving lot's of question marks as to how tough the region is. farragut: 21 ccchs:7 (if they make the extra point lol)

this one won't happen, not even close!!!!!! hate to say it chrisburr but this one does have the making and high probability of the 4 seed over 1 seed.

i can get some ketchup for my crow now, congrats to the panthers of ccchs but have a feeling that only 1 team from region 1 will remain in round 2 of the playoffs can annyone guess who?

i believe that game would be an awesome game. however, what field would it take place on. i don't think ac would want to play at ccchs and vice versa and there are no fields inbetween.

during halloween season all sorts of tricks or treats can be found anywhere you search for them. here in k-town on a fri. night the ghost & gouls will be out and about stalking those 100 yard fields where many dreams have died. it will be a weird night maybe even a soggy night where the unexpected blade a grass just jumps up and grabs some @#$. karns: a solid team that wins at home and loses on the road (this a home game). ccchs: a good team that travels well and plays well on the road. game: being that the beavers played a game or two in region 2 and done ok and scored some points for themselves against the big boys and ccchs has yet to score against the big boys in region 1. i look for this game to not be as close as some are expecting. once again ccchs will give at some point in the game karns the short field to score and karns will score (qb factor). ccchs: 7 (prepared to eat crow on this one) karns: 28

it's thurs. today and i'm gonna make my prediction today so everyone can see it and admire it (lol, just kidding). just gonna do it in another added statement to get my numbers up lol

interesting that there's no school on fri. for ccchs (vacation or canceled due to big ballgame). don't know if i'll be able to make it or not but will try. won't be calling the show tonight i have a meeting to attend (cta = coach t's annonymous lol) seriously a business meeting. i bet karns will be standing room only.

ahhhh so the old ugly head is once again rising in the cougar den!!!!!!!!! anyone have the scoop as to what's going on and why? normally there would be 3 pages by now of the ccchs faithful if they would have won, it seems that the true faithful are still here after the loss to db. we now know who are the proud ccchs supporters and those that are shamed into hiding with this past loss. just look at the list of posters before this post and see who they are (now i know some are not such as me but not ashamed to admit i'm following them this season) end of bandwagon rant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when you folks come to k-town this week holler out your windows and say hi to JKar. predictions of the game to follow. game is still on the 29 (fri) right, cause i seen somewhere where games where moved to thurs. i just might get the old lady off of me and show up who knows?????????? thumb

this game can decide playoff implications in the 5a region 1 if things happens like they do around halloween, lot's of tricks. a halls win will be a nail in some teams coffin in 5a. go halls

ac wins by 9 points, be careful peeblee by poking fun at those that are down for a short period of time cause the panthers of ccchs might not be in the playoffs if they don't win and it took 30 yrs to get in the position and those you make fun of did it a whole lot sooner.

in another thread there saying a napier kid was at qb, what happened to slover that everyone was talking about as a replacement

because the other threads said that slover was a good qb that wouldn't show a drop off at that position and that he didn't lose his job but wanted to just play defense, whats going on up there?

your right about being a big game for both teams. if i'm right (happens sometimes) if ccchs loses to karns then ccchs is 4th seed going on the road. if karns loses they go to 3rd seed on the road (tie breaker has them ahead of jeff co. in head to head since karns won that game). and the obvious the winner gets 2nd and a home game in round 1. ??????? saw in another thread johnson hurt his shoulder, how bad is it, will he be 100% for the game? as for preditictions on the ccchs vs karns game, look for it later in the week.

well i thought ccchs would score some points but was wrong once again as i am many times. didn't get to listen to the game cause of the mrs. , but did get to check on the score twice which was at the 4 min mark of the first when db just scored it's 1st td and the other time it was in the third i believe the score was 40 something and like 8 min to go i believe. what happened in those 19 min? will say this if ccchs loses to karns they are #4 and playing on the road in oak ridge (who's going to win region 2 by the looks of it). at least it's not a long ride.
