Noone cares about this game because none of the players care about this game apparently. I'd say it's hard to root for a game that the participants could care less about

I can't see this one being close at all. Although both are very different teams from last year, DB drilled us last year. If we couldn't hang within 40 of them last year, I don't see us doing it this year either. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them beat DB this year, or even make it a game..but I don't see it happening. Last year DB completely shut down Johnson, and I'm sure they'll bring that same gameplan into the game this year. I'm not makin a prediction but I don't see this being close whatsoever.

The reason I have this opinion about your coach for one thing is simply the way most the players play and their attitudes. I know from last year a lot of them were very undiscipline and had bad attitudes, which I know isn't all the coaches fault, but a lot of it. But mostly, last year most of our team went to the Karns-SH game because it was on a Thurs or something, and I got to watch firsthand from the sideline how bad your coach is. I think it was in overtime and they called a timeout from the 2, the team went out, didn't know what play to call, players were lined up wrong and they ended up running the exact same play they ran the play before, and maybe twice in a row. That on top of the whole game on his part is the reason I have this opinion about him. Do people feel this way in the Hill?

With Science Hill being one of the better teams in the region, and us being one of the worst, and them wanting some revenge for last years comeback win we put on them....I'd say this one will be ugly. The only reason that it might not be ugly is because how bad Science Hill's coach is. If he's still there we may have a chance if we get a couple breaks and Johnson goes for about 400? Like to see the cougars pull this one out for homecoming.

Wow this one was a blowout, pretty pitiful. CC couldn't do anything. I mean, I know you try to get the ball to your best player(Johnson), but surely we can come up with something more original than that screen pass. We ran that atleast 4-5 times while I was there, which was only the first half. We should get the ball more to Howard also. But Bearden was obviously the better team this year, and we couldn't do much of anything. Good game to Bearden and hopefully we can do SOMETHING and MAYBE make an effort to win the game next week.

The kids on the team prolly care if they "squeek" into the playoffs. Whether or not they get drilled or not its still a pretty good season to get to that point. I mean, doesn't look like we'll have to worry about getting drilled by OR in the first rd. this year anyways. So lets try to get a win this week and work towrd that pounding we would take if we got there

Bearden seems to be having a season like we did last year. Which I really CANNOT believe after all the turmoil that was being talked at the end of last year on this website, I thought Bearden was headed way down. CC is really struggling...obviously, we may be able to match up with Bearden in some areas and hopefully that will help. I hope CC brings out another "secret weapon" this week and does something with it and brings home the 2nd win of the season. Good Luck to ya Coach Wells

Last year was definetely not a fluke JKAR, it's just that this year CC doesn't have the players, the talent, the leadership, or the coaching of the previous year. Don't get me wrong, Coach Wells is a great coach that was deserving of everything he got last year, but with the loss of Coach Wampler the attitude just seams to be different at CC. You just can't lose a major part of a team like that, plus lots of starters, and just ride 1 player into another good season. CC is not yet a powerhouse by any means in 5A football, but that doesn't mean that in the next couple years they won't have another good season and make some noise in the playoffs. This years freshmen class looks real good, looks about like ours did as a freshmen, and look what that got us. So I wouldn't say it was a "fluke", just the 1st winning season in a program that should have more in the future, maybe not IMMEDIATE future, but future.

Seveir Co was a good team last year, that had a lot of talent and was HUGE. I'm not sure how many of their guys graduated but I know the QB is still back, and if his receivers would have caught passes last year they would have beat us. The CC DB's are gonna have to step up in a big way ALONG with Chris Johnson and the offense continuing off their success from last week and playing a great game, thats the only way CC is going to have a chance to win this one. Seveir Co. walked off the field last year in tears because they lost to "Campbell Co", they're not going to forget that and are gonna come out as motivated for this game as much as any game this season. CC CAN win, but they gotta be about perfect.

Well, Ima go with CC 25-20. From what I hear the offense is looking better with their off-week, and I think the defense will continue to play solid for the most part and take it home this week for their first win. If we win this week and keep getting better we can win a couple football games this year. We have a chance against Karns and Bearden, although Bearden is playing pretty good football right now, and against Science Hill I would say. So don't give up yet CC

Listen, CC is gonna win this game, but it will be close. I don't know why it will be close, we have so much more talent than them, but we somehow don't use it and its stupid. CC 28 Clinton 21
