Ethan Dillard - Houston County

I heard Mont. Central had a bad game and still beat Cheatham County.

Did SC have anybody out last night 12/1 in Houston County, when HC put it on them. Where was the 11AA MVP we have heard about. You may have seen the 10A MVP-Dillard with 38 points. Didnt Waverly just beat HC. It might not look so good for SC after all. SC fans need to be realistic, they will finish near the bottom of the district. They will be lucky if they beat Mont. Central. MC played HC a close game.Foul trouble is what hurt MC.

I would not count out Clarksville Acadamy or Houston County to make a run at the state tourn. this year. They will be the top two teams in 10A this year.

1. Cheatham 2. Harpeth 3. Creekwood 4. sycamore 5. Mont. Central 6. Waverly 7. Stewart Co. 8. Fairview Those are my predictions. However, I wouldn't be suprised to see Creekwood at the top by the end of the year and Waverly and Mont. Central could play a big role in the predictions because both teams have the ability to upset some of the top teams.

HC has some great coaches inside their own system. What about the assistant high school coach, she has been there for years. I heard coach Moore was wanting to get back into coaching, he does a great job. What about the middle school coach, she has had some great seasons. Keep us posted .

Any idea who the new coach will be in HC. Whoever steps in will have a job to do to get the girls team back on track. I heard they only won five or six games last year

Smith - CA Dillard - HC

I think Dylan Smith is a good player and the best player on the SC team. I just don't think he is even close to a AA MVP. I do think he will be the all-district player chosen from SC. As far as the coach, we will just have to see. I hope for SC basketball your right.

This sounds like a biased person who can not handle the truth. Smith is a decent player on a mediocore team, thats the truth. He's not a (AA) MVP. At the end of the year you will see for yourself. Then we will see who knows basketball.

Nobody will be able to stop the twins. Cooksey is o.k. when he is not getting pressured. He is not a great ball handler, he can't shoot and is pron to foul trouble. He will be a decent gaurd in 10A but I still feel that is this HC weak point. Maybe with a little more experience he will be able to make better decisions.

AA- SC,MC,Cheatham A- Houston Co.,Jo Byrns, Clarksville Aca. All three of the AA teams are weak. I think CA and HC both have a good shot at winning the 10A district.

I'm not against SC. Thats just my opinion and I hope all the teams we are talking about can upset some of the others. It would make for an exciting year. I just don't know how the new coach will work out. SC changes coaches so often and thats hard to build a program with. They need some stability and if I am hearing everyone right, the hiring of this new coach is kind of shady.

Houston County looked really good. Dillard is still the one to watch for but he does have a little more help this year. They will win the rebound battle most games with Spurgeon and skelton both in the game. They will have trouble against a pressing team. They need a point gaurd bad.

I think MC, SC, Cheatham, or Fairview could be last. I think all four teams could easily split during the season. I think the second game at camp was a three point game with MC. I dont think they played Cheatham a second time. If SC is going to get it done they better do it this year because they will have a rough rebuilding process after this year. I really don't think anyone is giving Creekwood enough credit. They will be one of the teams to beat the next three years. They are young, big, and athletic.

I heard Sam Porter quit the team. Have you heard any different.

The reason you put SC in front is your obviously from SC. SC looks like they are on a backwards pace. They looked better last year and if you think Smith could get MVP, you must not get out of SC very much or you just don't know anything about basketball. And we all know about how the new coach got hired to make sure Craig gets enough playing time regardless of his ability and terrible attitude.

I thought this was about the best dunk of the season, not if a player will play D1 or not. Since you have started it though, Froedden has the potenetial to play D1 basketball. He is young and will only get better. And his speed and quickness on defense can already shut some of the best gaurds in the state down. Froedden can put so much pressure on a player that they dont want to even get the ball. Ive seen all the Clarksville schools play and Froedden is the quickest gaurd Ive seen.

when did Skelton get hurt. Everybody I talked to has never seen him play and doesnt even know who he is. whats the big secret? Will he really help? I guess we will see after Christmas.

hey irishfan1 Houston Co. is off to a bad start this year. Whats going on over there? You think its finally time they get a new coach?

im reading that Clark is doing a great job and really stepped up against Stewart County. They have needed other people to put points on the board. It will be hard to beat NC without Dillard. HC will have to put up a lot of points to beat them. Good luck IRISH!!!!

I think D. Greene is definitely an MVP contender this year in 11AA
